TV Ratings Report: Madam Secretary and The Good Wife Soar To Season Highs
Paul Dailly at .CBS was given an NFL fueled boost last night and it sent their series up in the ratings.
Starting the night was 60 Minutes which managed 20.3 million viewers and a 4.7 rating among people 18-49. Then it was Madam Secretary's turn to shine, with 11.3 million viewers and a 2.0 rating. This ties a series high for the legal drama.
Capping off the night for the eye network was The Good Wife, which managed 8.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating. This is the shows highest ratings this season.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On ABC, two episodes of Galavant (2.3 million/0.6 rating) remained low, while Quantico (1.5 million/0.4 rating) encores filled up the rest of their night.
- On Fox, The Simpsons (4 million/1.8 rating), Cooper Barrett (2.5 million/1.2 rating), Family Guy (3.4 million/1.6 rating) and Bordertown (2.6 million/1.2 rating) all dropped.
- And on NBC, It was Dateline (5.9 million/1.1 rating) and the Democratic Debate (8.7 million/1.9 rating).
