TV Ratings Report: NCIS Soars To Season Highs

at .

The NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans crossover saw both shows reach season highs for CBS.

Starting off the night was NCIS Season 13 Episode 12, which delivered 18.7 million viewers and a 2.6 rating among 18-49. NCIS: New Orleans kept 17 million viewers and a 2.4 rating with the eye network.

Abby's Brother Is a Suspect - NCIS

Capping off the night for CBS, was Limitless, which got no benefit from the high flying NCIS duo. The show managed just 7.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating.

And elsewhere around the dial:

  • On NBC, Hollywood Game Night (4.4/1.2 rating) returned for Season 3 with low ratings. The Chicago Fire (7.4 million/1.8 rating) and Chicago Med (8.4 million/1.9 rating) crossover saw both shows tick down.
  • On Fox, there were mixed results with their revamped comedy line-up. New Girl (3.4 million/1.4 rating) was in line with last January's winter premiere, but Grandfathered (3 million/1.0 rating), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2.7 million/1.2 rating) and The Grinder (2.1 million/0.8 rating) were all on the downside.
  • On ABC, Fresh Off The Boat (3.6 million/0.8 rating) and The Muppets (2.1 million/0.6 rating) were both encores. A special airing of Shark Tank (4.3 million/1.2 rating) led into the premiere of Beyond The Tank (3.9 million/1.1 rating). ABC would be wise to just slot both shows on Friday permanently.
  • And The CW continued its encores of The Flash (1.2 million/0.3 rating) and iZombie (0.7 million/0.2 rating).
