TV Ratings Report: Chicago Med & Chicago Fire Get A Boost

NBC returned to original programming last night and their Chicago dramas both got a boost. 

Starting things off was The Voice which ticked down to 10.8 million viewers and a 2.3 rating among people 18-49.

Then, Chicago Med returned to 8.6 million viewers and a 1.8 rating. After that, Chicago Fire had 8.7 million viewers and a 1.8 rating. 

And elsewhere around the dial:

  • On ABC, Fresh Off The Boat (4.6 million/1.2 rating), The Real O'Neals (3.8 million/1.0 rating), and Beyond The Tank (2.2 million/0.6 rating) were even, but Agents of Shield (3.2 million/1.0 rating) ticked up. 
  • On The CW, The Flash (3.3 million/1.3 rating) surged and iZombie (1.3 million/0.5 rating) was even.
  • On CBS, it was encores of NCIS (10.3 million/1.2 rating) and NCIS: New Orleans (8.8 million/1.2 rating), followed by a special Carpool Karaoke (4.3 million/0.9 rating).
  • And on Fox, New Girl (2.2 million/0.9 rating) hit a new low, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2 million/0.8 rating) was even. Fox also had encores of Grandfathered (1.3 million/0.5 rating) and The Grinder (1.3 million/0.4 rating).
