TV Ratings Report: Containment Premieres Well

Viewers seem to be under Containment's spell.

The series premiere of the new CW drama secured 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 rating. This outperformed the average ratings iZombie had in the slot.

Before that, The Flash dipped to 3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating.

And elsewhere around the dial:

On CBS, NCIS (14.6 million/1.8 rating) and NCIS: New Orleans (12 million/1.6 rating) dipped, but Limitless (5.8 million/1.8 rating) was steady.
On ABC, The Real O'Neals (3 million/0.8 rating), Agents of Shield (2.8 million/0.9 rating) and Beyond The Tank (2.1 million/0.5 rating) were in line with recent ratings.
On NBC, The Voice (9.7 million/1.8 rating) dipped, but Chicago Fire (8.2 million/1.7 rating) and Chicago Med (8.1 million/1.6 rating) ticked up.
And on Fox, New Girl (2.1 million/0.9 rating) ticked down, but Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2 million/0.9 rating) and The Grinder (1.6 million/0.6 rating) were in line with recent airings.
