TV Ratings Report: The Good Place & Kevin Can Wait Debut Strong

NBC: The Voice (12 million/3.3 rating) premiered slightly lower than last Fall's opener. The Good Place (8.1 million/2.3 rating) premiered well, but was way down from Blindspot's premiere. The show moves to its regularly scheduled time period this Thursday.
CBS: The Big Bang Theory (15.4 million/3.6 rating) slipped double digits from last year's season opener, but was up a tick from the previous season finale. Meanwhile, the critically panned Kevin Can Wait (11.2 million/2.6 rating) did about as well as could be expected. The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey (8.3 million/1.8 rating) was in line with Sunday's debut.
Fox: Both Gotham (3.8 million/1.2 rating) and Lucifer (4.4 million/1.3 rating) returned in line with their most recent finales.
ABC: Dancing With the Stars (10.6 million/1.7 rating) and Match Game (4.7 million/0.9 rating) took a hit with increased competition.
The CW: Supergirl (1.1 million/0.3 rating) continued to encore Season 1.
