TV Ratings Report: Grammy Awards on Par with 2016

It was all about the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
CBS: The Grammy Awards (24 million/7.3 rating) pulled in a strong crowd for the network, down just one tenth vs. the early 2016 numbers.
Fox: Bizarrely, Fox opted to air original installments of The Simpsons (2.5 million/1.0 rating), Son of Zorn (1.4 million/0.6 rating), Family Guy (1.9 million/0.9 rating) and Bob's Burgers (1.7 million/0.8 rating).
As expected, all four comedy series slipped severely.
It seemed silly to waste all of the shows against such huge competition.
ABC: In order to duck the competition, ABC went with The Blind Side (3.9 million/0.9 rating).
NBC: Fast & Furious 6 (2.5 million/0.7 rating) was on the menu for NBC.
