TV Ratings Report: Empire & Modern Family Slump To New Lows

at .

Will Empire ever stop falling for Fox?

Fox: Shots Fired (3.1 million/0.8 rating) was stable, while Empire (5.6 million/1.8 rating) shed another three-tenths.

ABC: The Goldbergs, Speechless and Black-ish were stable, while Modern Family dropped to a series low. Designated Survivor was also down, but it matched a low.

The CW: Arrow (1.6 million/0.5 rating) was stable, while The 100 (1.1 million/0.4 rating) rose for a battle episode. However, there were baseball pre-emptions, so the numbers could drop in the finals.

NBC: Blindspot (4.2 million/0.9 rating) was steady, but Law & Order: SVU (5 million/1.0 rating) and Chicago P.D. (6 million/1.1 rating) each slipped a tenth. NBC would be wise to move Chicago P.D an hour earlier in the fall.

CBS: Survivor (8.1 million/1.8 rating), Criminal Minds (7.2 million/1.4 rating) and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (5 million/0.9 rating) all picked up steam.
