TV Ratings Report: 9-1-1 Returns to Series Highs
Paul Dailly at .9-1-1 returned to Fox Sunday night and it built to series highs.
9-1-1 Season 2 Episode 1 secured 8.5 million total viewers and a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49.
This is up sharply from the 9-1-1 Season 1 finale (6.6 million viewers/ 1.7 rating) and the premiere (6.8 million viewers/ 1.8 rating).
The true test will be whether the show can hold up when it moves to Monday tonight without the NFL-fueled lead-in.
With increased competition, Big Brother slumped to 5.5 million viewers and a 1.3 rating, a decline of over 20 percent in the demo.
Over on ABC, Celebrity Family Feud (4.1 million/0.6 rating) and The $100,000 Pyramid (4.1 million/0.6 rating) slipped to season lows.
Sunday Night Football (17.3 million/5.6 rating) posted strong results for NBC.
