TV Ratings Report: The Masked Singer Hits New Highs
Paul Dailly at .The Masked Singer has been a roaring success for Fox.
The new series hit new series highs with its first season finale on Wednesday night.
With 10 million total viewers and a 3.1 rating, it was up 15 percent in the demo week-to-week.
Over on CBS, Survivor inched down a tenth to 7.1 million viewers and a 1.5 rating.
On a worrying note, The World's Best continued to descend, logging just 2.7 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.
There's no telling whether CBS will allow the series to air its entire run, but these numbers are anemic.
Chicago Med (8.4 million/1.2 rating), Fire (8.2 million/1.2 rating), and P.D. (7.1 million/1.1 rating) were all down week-to-week.
ABC's rotation of The Goldbergs (4.5 million/1.1 rating), Schooled (3.5 million/0.9 rating), Modern Family (4.3 million/1.1 rating), and Single Parents (2.9 million/0.7 rating) were steady.
Meanwhile, the timeslot premiere of Whiskey Cavalier scored 4.1 million viewers and a 0.7 rating.
It's difficult to make an assessment on the ratings given that the episode already aired out of the Oscars.
Riverdale (0.9 million/0.3 rating) and All American (0.6 million/0.2 rating) were steady in the demo.
