Conrad is the eldest of Susannah's two boys. He's always been a great athelete and student and seemingly had all the answers and was the most put together. He's also been the object of Belly's desires since she was a tween. Conrad is more reserved and often keeps his feelings inside, internalizing all the stresses of from his familial life and many secrets.

Conrad develops feelings for Belly as well, despite the conflict that it causes with his brother.
