Nate Ford is in charge of a group of criminals that takes from the rich and gives to the poor, Robin Hood style.
Ford is a freelance insurance investigator that seeks revenge against greedy, rich companies and wealthy business men that abuse their power. Ford left the insurance game after the company he worked for refused to pay for his son's treatment.
His son passed away a couple of years before the Leverage pilot takes place.
