How could they not list Vala Mal Doran on Stargate and Farscape? But I am looking forward to seeing her again. This should be interesting to see.
Ben is the killer
The Musketeers is officially renewed! =)
Seriously? They brought back Jimmy just to slaughter him in 2 episodes? wtf? I'm very disappointed.. slaughtering had no grounds, I almost felt sick watching the way Jimmy-Fiona story ended..
Absolutely 7X13 was the best. If the creators had given TL and PJ the moments throughout the season that they did in "White Orchids" to express their affection in logical places, e.g. rescue scene in Greybar Hotel, I would have been able to rate the season an "A". Otherwise I agree with most of your choices. Cannot believe you and so many others failed to pick up on Gabriel's statement that "cure will come with the number three" was a prediction that the darkness in Jane would be resolved and that he would know it when he saw it. PJ even commented on it two more times in that episode when he was playing pinball and won "not 1 but 3 free games" and when he met the 3 legged dog. Both times he scoffed, which shouted to me that it was a pivotal point of the episode and, as it turned out, the series.
I couldn't stand Amelia in Private Practice and I can barely tolerate her here. I don't know what it is about the character, her arrogance, her pushyness but she gets under my skin. I actually yelled out "No!" At the Tv when she turned up on Greysnthe first time this season. I understand her chip on her shoulder about Derick but if it means saving a patients life then she needs to get over it!
See, the intriguing thing about this finale is that WE know who killed Lila, but the characters don't so they'll have to piece that together. Annnnnnnd there was zero progress regarding the investigation into Sam's murder so that's more fodder for season 2. Invest in some quality seat belts and get ready to strap in.
I don't want Tom to go. But, if he does, that leaves the door open for Mary to have a more interesting plotline next season than just, "Who will take Matthew's place?" Some viewers may not like her. But I think everyone can tell that her character has been set up to be the one Robert depends upon to help Downton survive. She's tough as nails when it comes her family home. I'm ambivalent over Matthew Goode being added to the cast. I like the actor. But, his character seems a bit too frivolous for the responsibilities of raising little George & being strong enough to counter Steamroller Mary. And, that love he has for racing fast cars - NO! That's a sign from the universe saying, "Not this one. Move on, Mary." Thank goodness Mr. Carson & Mrs. Hughes finally saw the light. I predict next season it will be Baxter and Mr. Moseley who warm up to each other. And, we need a scene next season where the Bateses thank them for clearing his name. But, I will be most disappointed if the hunt for Mr. Green's killer continues to take up valuable screen time. Give it a rest, already! Surely in London there is no shortage of serious crime to solve.
I love, love, love Sam Underwood. He was the highlight of last year's show, and just a brilliant actor. It was also great to see Hunter Parrish (from Weeds) as one of Mark's followers. I loved the premiere, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The teaser was silly and doesn't hint at anything--just a publicity stunt.
