This is an intelligent show. I'm enjoying it.
Don't mean to be a nerd but it's 'call foul' unless you're referring to animal sacrifice (of which there has been an undue amount so far) in which case - good pun! I think I am going to opt out of Dig. I keep waiting for one of the Pythons to walk across the screen and say 'this is all terribly silly' or something. I am also strangely attached to the little cow, sorry, heifer, and I don't want to see the poor thing trailed around any longer, let alone sacrificed. Much as Jason Isaacs is turning into a very handsome man, I just feel the inevitability of this show chasing it's own tail around without any resolution is far too high and certainly more than I really have much time to devote to. Shame, because, as a short arc of a proper series, it had potential. This is one that simply won't run.
This statement from Fitz when he gave the ring to Olivia and told her the history of the ring shows the Grant marriage was on shaky ground from the very beginning. He always had doubts about Mellie being his wife which was to appease his father: "I was supposed to give it to my wife but I didn’t. It just never felt right, so I kept it. And now I know why because I was supposed to give it to you." Yeah, the episode was great but it felt like filler to tell Cyrus' back story which was interesting - his closeted life due to fear of AIDS and his political ambitions that got derailed. The less we see of Huck acting crazy and Jake being useless the better. Mellie can only boss around Elizabeth because everyone else rolls their eyes at her trying to be in charge. I'm loving Abby with Leo and their banter. I felt so sorry for Michael. He has a horrible dad like Olivia and Fitz. Bad parents can do a lot of damage.
Don't you think Ai
I'm curious about what Liz needs to remember, and who were the people in the pictures of previous B-days that Red has? Don't like Tom and his weaseling ways. You're right about Harold and having to finally choose over morals or treatment. I really liked this episode.
with that baguette, it's no wonder Fitzgerald has the (third) leg up on breadstick Jake.
I love Craig T. Nelson and I enjoyed Coach when it was on, so I'm all for it. Unless it's not done right.
Meredith's ego is completely out of control. She is a Bitch on Wheels! She discussed her surgical options in front of the kid and his sister, instead of with Kourev (sp?) first, which was unprofessional and unethical. And her hubris may have killed this patient! Owen's mother's story was touching. I am glad that he came around, albeit too quickly (but then this is television), to accept his mother's young boyfriend.
Meredith definitely should have consulted with Alex (it's Karev) first.
Let's face it season 6 is a total mess, so many things wrong with it on so many levels. Half baked story lines, Enzo??? anybody, missing half of the twins, OK. don't care didn't really warm up to her anyway, Elena's missing memories (ruined Damon/Elena pairing as far as I'm concerned, disappearing characters, Tyler/Matt, relationship between Damon/Stefan was so often the beating heart of this show regardless of their many differences, now that Stefan has been made Caroline's little lap dog there's less opportunity for their relationship to shine. The big bad Kai has now been thoroughly neutered, not sure where that will go. Bonnie is finally back, supposedly bad ass we shall see, the relationship between her and Damon is the highlight of the show but there's not enough of that. Caroline without her humanity is annoyingly like Caroline of season 1 when nobody could stand her. Stefan without his humanity was always fun but we've been down that road before so it's déjà vu all over again. Not sure about mama Salvatore, she seems like a stretch, hopefully they'll shove the CURE down her throat. Not excited about the idea of season 7 if story lines aren't shaped more coherently. The stories were best when it was the Scooby gang, oops you know what I mean.
Please, please, please don't go down the cure road again! I'm so over this storyline and quite frankly never liked it anyway.
