@North Coast: I'm glad you liked it:) I live in the french part of Switzerland, so I didn't need translation, but I should check the automatic translation, just to see the mess ;). I don't know if Robin was in France only for that interview, but Simon, he, was there as a guest for the "Diane price 2013", an annual well known horse race where everybody is very elegant...(all the women have to wear a beautiful, though often excentric hat...made me think of the horse race scene from My Fair Lady).
Isn't it Entwife? Actually, when a saw it, I instantly thought about you, I thought " I'm sure this would make Entwife smile!" I love the way she prounouces "Deauville", so cute! And her face when she sees Simon and goes "oh hellooo" ,again, so cute! And at the end, when she sits back on the armchair, she's all happy and you can see the little stars in her eyes!
Oh Entwife, I didn't know you where from Texas...I've just read the news: "GRANBURY, Texas (AP) - A rash of tornadoes slammed into several small communities in North Texas overnight, leaving at least six people dead, dozens more injured and hundreds homeless. The violent spring storm scattered bodies, flattened homes and threw trailers onto cars." That's horrible...Glad you're safe...Why don't they choose to build houses with a little more solid materials? Anyway, my thoughts go to you and all the victims.
@ Bonaduz and KM: Hi! Hihi, it was funny to read you two wondering where I was from. I'm from the french part of Switzerland (Montreux. Don't know if you've ever heard of the Montreux Jazz Festival there's every year in july?). Bonaduz, with a little bit of effort I understood what you said in swiss-german thanks to the fact that I've studied german at school for a few years...So, it wasn't totally useless lol:)! Let me know if any of you, comes to Montreux one day, I'll show you around!
@Katempw! Well said:"Each of them knows how the other feels and knows that the other knows they know"...absolutely:) and @Creamy as well: Actually, there's no need for them to say anything else at this point...I hope Jane will simply "show" Lisbon his feelings...words may not be needed. ;)
Hi all! Sorry didn't catch everything up yet, and it's already getting late.
@Entwife: About the kissing scene with Lorelei, "shocked" (when discovering the scene the first time) is the right word indeed! As long as I'm concerned, the denial quickly overtook my state of despair...that's why I try to ignore the scene and pretend it never happened. As easy as that ;)
And yes, I second what you say, I also think that "lying in bed, thinking of someone" is hardly innocent! There's definately an erotic tint...I think if I were Lisbon and had heard that from Barlow, I would have become crimson and wished to be swallowed by the ground and disappear for ever!
@Bonaduz: I love to read your descriptions of the beautiful nature that surrounds you! I'd love to visit Canada one day! I live in Switzerland and I have to say that the nature lover that I am, is well rewarded by the lake and forests that I can see here.
@Entwife: oh from Lord of the Rings! :) One thing: I don't know how you can torture yourself watching Jane and Lorelei kiss, frame by frame...I never watch that scene at all, I just try to delete it from my memory! You know what's really annoying about this? It's the fact that the shippers have been meticulously collecting all the crumbs of "affection" that could appear clearely or less clearely (looks, words...)for years, desperately praying for more, and then suddenly you get that...yes, that horrible scene with Jane and Lorelei...it's like hitting someone that's already on the floor, don't you think?
Hi all! A lot to catch up here, not that easy: I miss one day and "bam" we've reached 1045 comments! "Champagne pour tout le monde!":D
I'm glad my analysis of Barlow's sentence was appreciated:) I also think that the expression on Jane's face at that moment (he looks at Lisbon briefly and then back at Barlow) means something like "Ok, stop with that now, don't bother her about that, it's a delicate topic, I know she loves me, no need to make her feel uncomfortable".
By the way, there's one thing I can add about that sentence: it's the fact that Jane, obviously, pondered deeply about the second part of the sentence (secretive and controlling) that implies/proves that he heard and remembers very well of the whole sentence, and certainly pondered about the first part as well...so nothing is forgotten. It's just so precious and true that there's no need to talk about it...
@creamy: I had a really good laugh watching your vid about the guy at the gas station, thanks! And the other vid with Robin was great...she is really a gorgeous woman. I loved the kiss scene, so sensual and sexy...I tried to pretend it was Jane she was kissing instead of that guy hihi.
@Bonaduz: Hi! wow, I had never heard about exploding trees. I had never thought the sap could practically "boil"? Why do they explode? Does the heat make it swell?
Good night meticulous Jane's half sister (wink at anitraward1) and good night everyone! What a great day with you. I'm going to have sweet dreams with Entwife's drawing in my mind hihi.
@Creamy: Wow! I didn't know she was so good at poker. Imagine how unfair it must have been for Robin to play that scene with Jane where they play poker and Jane is- of course- smarter and goes "I'm gonna smoke you". For once, it would have been cool to have Lisbon win!
Oh my! Me too mimi, I've just seen the jisbon drawing Entwife posted! "sigh"..."sigh"...what can I say?
Tomorrow's Sunday...and no Mentalist anymore...when will season 6 start does anybody know? I don't remember when season 5 had started, was it in October?
@Creamy: Hi!:) Somebody's posted an interview on this board, sorry don't remember who, where Bruno said that they were ready to continue the story even after RJ's death. It's a challenge of course but I'm sure they'll figure out something good.
Yes, I agree with you, I really hope they won't screw up their relationship at the end of season 6, like: ok I love Lisbon, so do I Jane end of the story, it was nice watching the show lol! But BH said their feelings for each other would come out as they get really close to catch RJ...I'm sure we won't be disappointed, or I hope so at least.:D
@anitraward1: I don't think it's necessary the person that taught Jane how to practice hypnosis that has reached into his head, but simply someone who knows the skill. But, it's a possibility of course.
That's why I was thinking of Brett Stiles...Someone (like 33 pages ago maybe) has already mentionned it, (I don't remember who), but said that Brett Stiles was the one that would fit most of the clues...And I'm quite sure he can practice hypnosis...actually, visualising smthg is a sort of auto-hypnosis...
