Can't believe i'm saying this after last year's season, but The Walking Dead, hands down. Even when i heard Mazzara(sp?) swear it would be more action packed, i was worried it would mean almost no character growth, which i feel is just as important, but boy-oh-boy did he deliver. The action never stopped, but each character has grown so much and i love/hate them to pieces. Add in Merle, who oddly i don't want to die b/c i think he could add a lot of conflict and tension, and the soon-to-be evil governor, and this season just could not be beat!
1) Daryl Dixon/TWD- seriously no contest...if you were to look at Season 3 Daryl and compare him to Season 1 Daryl you almost wouldn't believe he's the same guy. he was always the ultimate survivalist, but he was a loose cannon and you were never sure which way he would go or what he would do. Now he is someone anyone can put their absolute trust in.
2) Sherlock Holmes/Elementary- i had almost no hope for this show, but it has blown me away the actor who plays him(can't for the life of me think of his name) has made the character his own while still paying homage to the original. Marvelous job.
3) Finch/Person of Interest- I can't even really tell you why. He's just so damn adorable. he's like my younger brother i'm extremely protective of, just love him to pieces.
(honorable mention) Donna/Suits- Donna from Suits. enough said:)
Awesome show, but my favorite part by far was Fusco standing up to Simmons... i just stared open-mouthed as he told him where to shove his attitude b/c i just didn't think he had it in him...GO FUSCO GO!!!!
What an awesome episode!! i've wanted Juliette gone since the first season, but now i'm demanding it b/c i can deal with a girlfriend who doesn't know, but not an obnoxious moron without common sense..
as for Renard, I've always liked him since the beginning...I know what the series is leading you to believe, but i just do NOT believe he's a bad guy, even though all the proof is right there... maybe he was bad in the beginning, but it just seems to me when he talking with Nick, he just seems to genuinely care...maybe not at first, but i really think it'll come out he's on team Grimm, if not all along, then he is now...don't know why but i'm just so sure of it..
Andy, as for your second point (can't argue first) i actually think it makes perfect sense that Root got away while Reese checked Finch and got him out. Whether or not they admit it, and i know i hate it when this is thrown around in shows when it doesn't REALLY apply, i really feel they have a family love for each other. So when Reese saw Finch(i admit to almost crying tears of joy) his first reaction was 'check for injuries and get him the hell out,' b/c when he saw he hadn't been shot, he still couldn't be sure Root hadn't hurt him earlier. Even i thought she would.
All i know is if someone had my best friend hostage and i had the chance to get her away, i know the best thing would be to do what i can to stop the bad guy(assuming i had the ability) but the fact is my love and defensiveness for her would, i believe, put getting her to safety away from danger at the forefront. just my point of view:)
Awesome episode. I'm almost waiting for them to have a bad episode, but it's like the writers don't even know how...lol
Well i don't watch either show, but i had to go with Nathan Fillion because i still remember being terrified of him as Caleb in Buffy lol
omg i'm soooo excited. looks like the premiere will be a winner...i just CAN....NOT....WAIT!!!!!
Sadly last year i saw half the first episode and was pretty bored. Fast forward to this year and i came down with a bad version of the flu and was bed ridden for a week and a half. i ran out of shows and my mom convinced me to watch Suits Season 1(it was on demand at the them) now for the past three months i've had to endure her snarky 'i told you so!!!' b/c i FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!
by the third episode of the first season i was like 'okay this is ok' by the sixth i gave up on sleep and simply watched...i watched the whole first season in 36 hours...lol
and this season, omg this season. we all loved donna's wit and loyalty to both Mike and Harvey, but i feel this season she went from supporting the time to being a card-carrying member. i swear she's 80 percent of why i watch the show. Also, i kinda feel bad for Louis, b/c i don't think he truly understands how badly he screwed up. Yes there were times even I thought they were cruel, but at the end of the day, they had his back when it mattered. now he's completely on his own. he'll realize his mistake soon enough. Donna telling him off was by far my favorite scene of the season.
excited does not even come CLOSE to how this makes me feel:):):):) Anyone else and i'd probably be all kinds of annoyed, but if he's gonna do it then i'm SO IN!!!!!
I know it is most likely a dream sequence or hallucination, but there is a VERY UNLIKELY alternative...
i've always thought it would be interesting if either his wife or daughter turned out to be in witness protection from that night. Now before the groans, think about it. it would make sense if one of them managed to live, there's NO way they'd want it known b/c it was Red John, and while you would think they'd have to tell the child's father, they may have deemed it safer for HER if they didn't. If this is the case, while he'd be angry at first, i believe even Patrick himself would concede later it was the safest thing for her.
don't know i've just always thought it would be a great storyline. or maybe he even knows....with Patrick Jane you just never know lol
