What I don't understand is why the girls are STILL keeping A a secret from everybody. If they honestly suspected that Dr. Sullivan was in trouble (and if she was missing long enough she would've been classified a missing person), then they should've come clean to help her.
At this point, they're scared that if they tell someone about A their lives will be ruined, but A's already ruined each of their lives in this episode alone. How long can this go on?
I wouldn't put it past the show to throw the horseshoe in as a Chekov's Gun, but realisticly, the police aren't going to care about a horseshoe missing from an old barn. I think the whole point of showing it was to explain (to the audience) that A killed Ian.
A is a vampire. Specifically, a Vampire Diaries vampire. Because honestly, most of Rosewood has now probably seen this mysterious gloved person wandering around, but no one mentions anything because they've all been compelled.
For anybody who has seen the 'What should A do next?" videos on ABC.com, you'll notice the extent of A's stalking, it is CREEPY. He/she/it has pictures of them from all over the place, there is no way a normal person can pull that off, while still keeping up a regular life (which all the suspects have. Well maybe not completely regular..) Therefore, A is a vampire. Yup, only explanation. Because the amount that A's been able to pull off is veering into the realm of ludicrousy.
God, I have so much love for Spencer and Toby right now!
The kiss wasn't the reason they lost, they just weren't that good. I felt distinctly underwhelmed watching this competition compared to others. And really, the only people who took issue with the kiss was Jesse (who was jealous) and ND (who needed a scapegoat, they'll get over it and move on). I think the audience was a bit weirded out, wondering like Jesse, if the kiss was all part of the act or not. Plus, it's Glee. These things have to slide. They'll win next year for sure, because Nationals won't be the centre conflict, graduation will.
It has to be the real Red John Jane shot, anything else would be a cop out on the writers part after all these years of searching for him. I love the choice to portray him as a completely normal, sane man, it does make the fact that he viciously murdered people a lot creepier. And remember, this is a man who has supposedly entangled god knows how many people in his web. This is the same man that Rebecca, Bosco's secretary, honestly believed was doind good deeds for the world.
What's going to be interesting now is seeing how the team (especially Lisbon!) reacts to all of this. I have a feeling that the DA's animosity towards the SCU is going to come into play, but obviously, for the sake of keeping the show running, somehow, someway Jane will be exonerated. Clearly there are some Red John loose ends - what exactly did he do to Kristina? How is Bret Stiles involved? - and many more, I'd love to see Red John's accomplices all somehow come into play. Jane said the man had minions all over the state, perhaps Red John is no longer a single man, but a concept?
It was a great season finale, I actually punched the air when Jane fired the gun. The fact that Jane, who hates guns, willingly using one is just one of the subtle underlying bits that made this episode so well written. Can't wait for season 4!
Right, Eric is my new favourite character.
I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this episode. It was fast-paced, had some great dialogue and was appropriately beyond the realm of reality.
Is that Emily Bennet I see?
My God the way the comments are going you'd think that Chuck beat Blair until she was black and blue. He didn't hit her, and while I'm not condoning his actions at all, I want to see what will happen between the two of them before we claim he abuses her.
Please commenters, realize that Blair has at no point in this show stood down when Chuck displayed aggressive behaviour. Blair is not some quivering, battered woman, she is a strong queen who calls out Chuck on his actions. So please, think about what you're typing before you hit submit.
