Why should Meredith give a rat's ass about Damon's love life and feelings? Did they have some bonding time during a picnic or something I missed last season? This show...
Watching this video made me wanna cheer - Joseph, Joseph, Joseph! But ugh, I feel so bad that the only he gets asked about is Klaroline, which I am guessing is the reasons he and Candice were MIA at Comic-Con, cos I bet they would be swamped by those questions. Its sad to see that tv shows today have basically turned into make-out sessions that people tune into.
- April - was I the only one who was shocked to see Owen go to April and not Christina? But its good he is bringing her back, Seattle Grace needs her ASAP.
Hats of to Shonda, she is amazing, because to keep the audience entertained for that long, it takes a lot of creativity. I enjoyed the premiere:
-Medusa Meredith - I wasn't really surprised there, Meredith always had that something very scary about her and she always was a tough cookie, so I like that she is being feared now. Remember how she was looked at when her affair with Derek was revealed? Its interesting how her and Bailey's roles have reversed in a way.
- Christina - I had a feeling she would be in a different hospital and that she would be miserable...but I can't blame her. Hope to her more often though.
- Mark - R.I.P. dear Mark, we will always miss you!
- Arizona- guys, I have to say, I had a feeling she didn't die, even with all the "I am so sorry" from all the other people telling her that, I just remembered how badly Arizona's leg was and I had a feeling her absence had to do something with that.
- April - was I the only one who was shocked to see Owen go to April and not Christina? But its good he is bringing her back, Seattle Grace needs her ASAP.
"You were my first love but I can't do this anymore" - Oh Rachel, it does not matter how great you look in your new clothes with a good new haircut, inside you are still the same old selfish girl, who always puts herself first. Enjoy her shower dude, with your hotness and her selfishness, you will make a great Broadway couple, great on the outside, rotting inside. PLEASE BRING BACK JESSE! At least he was interesting!
And I don't even wanna talk about how Rachel and the shower dude ALREADY kissed! And now like in every soap opera we end on Finn showing up to surprise Rachel... I love it how everyone is saying "Oh, but he has been MIA" and Rachel is so unhappy and Rachel is this and that....what about looking at this issue from Finn's side? What if all this time he was still deciding on what to do with his life? What if he understood army life was not for him? What if something happened that made him go to NY and see Rachel I am guessing right away? its gonna be sad when these two break up next week, cos lets face it they are. Shower dude's fans can rejoice, but the sad truth is, he might like her, but he still does not know what and who Rachel is beyond those new clothes she got. And Finn knows and loves the real her. Thats the difference.
Finchel. Ok, well, I come from a family where women wait for their husbands and loved ones to come home from serving the country. I get that Rachel's make-over made her feel more confident but the way she just point-blank told the shower dude (sorry, I refuse to call this "character" by him name, hotness is not a quality) "I want to cook dinner for" made me wanna slap her. One thing is to have dinner with a guy friend, another is to make it look like she was about to ask him to be with her for the rest of her life...Come on, Rachel, that is not you, because JUST 2 EPISODES AGO you made it clear you still love Finn. Look, I am just so sick and tired of tv shows where the moment there is a rough patch in a relationship everyone calls quits because they are just to lazy to try and make it work. People, that is life! Nothing is ever going to be perfect or simple or happy, yes, Finchel's relationship was having difficulties, but does that mean they stopped loving each other? And I don;t even wanna talk about how Rachel and the shower dude ALREADY kissed! And now like in every soap opera we end on Finn showing up to surprise Rachel... I love it how everyone is saying "Oh, but he has been MIA" and Rachel is so unhappy and Rachel is this and that....what about looking at this issue from Finn's side? Now onto little Mrs.Shrimmer. Look, I am glad she got a make-over (finally), but in my opinion it should have happened in new Rachel already. I enjoyed SJP on Glee because I felt like she fits Glee, like a glove. Also the scenes where Rachel was getting a make-over, I felt like I was watching "The Devil Sings Prada". Cute & nice.
So about the couples, first of all, I get that Kurt and Blaine's relationship is supposed to get difficult because of the long distance, however I don't like it that they are making Kurt just ignore Blaine and his life. Because taking into account that just 2 episodes ago Kurt was still so much about the Lima life, and Blaine, its weird that all of a sudden two episodes later he acts like this.
I fully agree with the reviewer of this episode, ok -but not great, and Glee can do better, like even s2 was not that bad. I agree, the songs were terrible again, I did not like that the whole election theme was treated like whatever, and just like Sue fell down on her hands the moment Artie started speaking abd EVERY word that came out of his mouth was the usual bullshit jiberish that modern politicians use in their campaign...ugh...But I did like how Glee managed to perfectly outline one thing - most of the time people that go into politics either have no idea what they are doing (Brittany) or they get into politics because they are doing it for someone (Blaine). So the whole election thing was absurd but realistic at least. Thank God there were no new kids singing songs this week, and I caught myself thinking, I don't care what happens in the choir room anymore...and I feel bad that Tina's character is forgotten about AGAIN.
@Amy, according to JP Elena is a genious with a huge IQ so the issue of college and passing exams or even ATTENDING school at this point is not really that much of a deal to anyone on the show anymore.
The show needs consistent storylines and a good main theme, not more characters, especially from someone's past, because given how little we have seen Tyler last season AND how his breaking Klaus's bond HAPPENED COMPLETELY OFF CAMERA...what is the point of this chick? To cause tension between Forwood? Sorry, but Klaus's role has been reduced to that already...so again, why?
I can say that the first half of the season was good, it was when Dair started that the show went horrible again.
I liked
- The scenes in Paris!
- Fashion Night Out episode
- Serena's storyline about the teacher
- Damien!
Thats all, the rest was terrible. Oh wait no, the part where the prince came back for Blair and they started going out, loved that. Louis was good back then, they screwed him in s5 tho.
I love Candice Accola! She keeps it real...just like Caroline on the show. I enjoy Klaroline because it reminds me of book DE, because even though the guy is bad, there is something that pulls the girl towards him, and he would never hurt her.
@kittycat, I actually like the fact that Candice keeps on reminding the viewers about the little thing that Klaus IS - a murderer, because she is reminding the audience that even tho Klaus can be nice, he has killed more in his life than done goof to anyone. Because otherwise its like saying well he gets a free pass because he is hot or because he can be nice. I am not saying that this is what you implied in your comment, just saying in general. Otherwise you get another psychopathic following like a percentage of the DE fanbase.
I am glad to see that Hair& Costumes department was reinstalled on Gossip Girl, I am really gals to see the girls AND guys in a) good clothes and b) hair brushed (especially Blair). Serena looks amazing in that dress, just btw.
5. I don't think the problem is in the "Should they do more tribute episodes" , its more in the "Can they do them at all?". Look, when the songs of a famous singer act as the perfect soundtrack to the storylines - yes, great choice, like with the Madonna tribute or the Lady Gaga episode. Why? With Madonna, Glee perfectly balanced the songs with themes like love, relationships, understanding and feelings. With Lady Gaga, acceptance for being who you are and what the Glee club was at that stage to the whole school and the whole world really, again made sense and was awesome. So if Glee can find that balance again, yes, go ahead. I would suggest the Beatles even, because the Glee club is changing and most of its talented singers are gone. Maybe something could be done there. But if not, please just stop!
4. Not even one of those simply because the first one has three new barely likeable characters and the show jumped in it too quickly, and its the horrible version of Rachel/Finn/Quinn. The second one is simply weird because Rachel and the shower dude have zero chemistry, he is a creep, and its clear Rachel stillloves Finn AND the show has created this "triangle" out of nothing. Please Glee, don't copy the Vampire Diaries!

1. I hated the episode but liked only one scene - Brittany turning around and saying: "Its Britney, bicth".
2. Like with TVD I prefer the Originals - Artie and Blaine's "Boys/Boyfriend" was awesome and the only tolerable song from the whole episode. Britney's classics like "Oops..." and "You drive me crazy" were ruined.
3. Like with TVD I prefer the Originals - so YES! Because if the 30 seconds of Santana happened over Skype and was semi-understandable, Puck's 2 min speech to the HALF BROTHER HE NEVER KNEW HE HAD ABOUT JOING THE GLEE CLUB AND HIS ATITTUDE was just WRONG!
I feel 50/50 on this...On the one hand they were REASON number 1 i got hooked to the show and when they were together it was EPIC. So in terms of that, yes they were always right for each other. On the other hand GG has ruined them so much in s3 AND in s5 that I have no idea how in the world will they get them back together now...Dan was such a dick to her last season.
As for the mother, well, I am glad the show cut right to the chase and gave us something more to look forward to now, it was nice to see that we are almost there!
Guys, you know this episode was so awesome that I didn't even feel how time flies, this 21 min episode, felt like 5 mins. I think HIMYM is getting bacj to being awesome again, because I loved this episode so much:
- Barney's 52 sec recap of the LAST 7 YEARS was legendary!
- Barney replacing Robin in a picture with a tiger - awesome
- Ted and Klaus's talk was good
- Lily and Marshall being like zombies because of lack of sleep - funny
- Robin's addiction to Nick's abs - very funny
The only thing I didn't like is the whole Robin and Barney sl - again..look, I know that I am probably in the minority here, but I never really enjoyed those two as a couple, Barney is meant to be a womanizer and if there is anyone out there for him, its Quinn not Robin. Quinn just gets Barney more, they are really alike, whereas Barney and Robin's romance is too platonic. yes, I know they are getting married, but I just had to say that.
As for the mother, well, I am glad the show cut right to the chase and gave us something more to look forward to now, it was nice to see that we are almost there!
4. I agree with the author of this review, seeing old Glee members for 30 seconds sucked, and again was out of place. First of all, Mr.Shue is a creep, how dare he just force Jake and Puck's meeting? And if that was not terrible enough, the whole dialogue between those two certainly was. They meet for the first time EVER and they only talk about Jake's behaviour at school...and for like 2 minutes? And we get to see 30 seconds of Santana?
5. Finally, about Rachel and the shower dude's relationship which could not be more forced...Glee, if you wanted to create more drama in that department, you should made Jesse a student at NYADA and while Finn is MIA, make Rachel and Jesse reconnect, cos boy did those two have great chemistry.
2. The selection of Britney songs sucked this episode because a) they chose her most awful ones, and b) the ones that weren't awful as they came out before her third album, those were sung by the wrong characters AND the songs did not connect to the story line at all. Marley knows Jake for two episodes and he already "drives her crazy" and her "Everytime" was just weird and out of place. "Hold it against me" and 3 - again, why?!
3. Rachel's "Oops I did it again" was not sexy at all - the whole number was bad, bad choreography, Rachel barely did anything, except pose. Watch the "Power of Madonna" episode where the girls did "Express Yourself" - now there Rachel was sexy....
