Serena telling Dan the famous line of the pilot was LAME. It was rushed, and she didn't really give it that much meaning. A let down.
Also, Georgina is GG! I don't buy it, who says Georgina can't hack a server? But I can't imagine all the plot holes associated with her being GG if it really is true.
Yeah, I didn't really like this episode. But, I NOW LOVE LOUIS.
Finally. FINALLY! Badass, f*cked up Louis! Everyone I know has been saying I was crazy for HATING that french guy; but I was so right! All Frenchies on Gossip Girl are evil. Enjoy it B, you TDI!
Stupid Blair and her stupid religion crap. Look where that got you, huh? If there was a really a God who punished you for going against him, Blair and all her friends would be dead by now.
After this episode? I can't see a Dair ending. I can't see another ending besides Blair and Chuck. Yes, they're screwed up and I'm not trying to turn this into a shipping war, God knows both ships have their screw ups, but Chair is clearly not over.
How Serena is trying to excite Blair for her wedding disgusts me. Serena WITNESSED Blair only agreeing to marry Louis for Chuck's health. She must know in that tiny blonde brain of hers that this marriage is the worst thing possible that her friend could do. A good friend would try to snap her BFF out of this madness and get her help, not get caught up with the sparkles and glitz of a royal wedding! Pathetic.
I really hope there isn't another Blackwell kid. I like Cassie's unique ness about her and the fact that she can't relate to anyone with a "dark magic problem" besides her father, which could be a reason she is looking so hard for her father.
Safran is really trying to pull in the ratings with this one. And guess what? I bet this episode will suck. Why would I care about my once favorite character who is now a pathetic imitation of the character she used to be, marrying a prince who I imagine being stabbed repeatedly by members of the show and left to die in a raging inferno so his accent can never be heard again? Oh right, I don't.
(I mean the character on the show, not the actor. Not THAT disturbed.)
Cry? Over this show? ROFLMAO... never going to happen.
If one were going to cry over GG, I would suggest crying over the fact the show went down the shitter in season 3. Or cry about all the wasted time you spent watching this show. Or cry about the fact that Safran doesn't plan on this show ending right away.
This episode will be my background music to homework, as per usual.
I hate Silver even more than I did before. Moving somewhere completely new with a single parent you barely know? How SMART!
Silver had no right to act all high and mighty about Adrianna. Yes, Adrianna gave her child up for adoption. That doesn't mean she has no right to know things about the women surrounding her daughter! Yes, her daughter. I mean she gave up Maizy so Maizy could have a happy, stable life. Now that Maizy's parents are divorced and her father is moving in with random girls he dated for what, a week, Adrianna DOES have a right to know what's going on. Silver expecting Navid to not tell Adrianna was deplorable.
That's because most people do ship DE. It's in the numbers. As another poster pointed out, there are many website welcome for people that JUST like SE. I like DE but I appreciate the SE fans' opinions too.
This picture is hilarious. It looks like Damon is doing ballet with the person thrown off the balcony. I mean the guy thrown has the perfect posture and everything!
I would very much understand where you're coming from, except I don't like the fact you get so aggressive at the end. People can think and ship whoever they want; what the "fans" ultimately want doesn't matter to Safran.
The sad part was there was so much room for Blair to develop as a character! I would have loved to see more from her miscarriage. I will try writing a scenario, and I'm a teenager, so they can surely do much better!
1st scenario: Blair feels relief due to her miscarriage. This causes her to abandon Louis, Chuck, Serena, etc..; everyone. She feels she now has time to really explore the world and not let anything stop her. She comes to back to New York excited by her travels, but sad she didn't find exactly what she was looking for.
2nd scenario (this one is too dark I think): Blair is broken down after her miscarriage. She looks for trouble, she starts drinking/drugs just so she can escape her life. She sleeps with random men just so she can have some kind of intimacy, without any real emotion. She won't listen to any of her friends: until they finally try to help her/ get her help.
I can't ship any series on this show. Honestly, Blair is too screwed up right now to be in a relationship. Girl needs to get her priorities straightened! So no ChAIR or dAIR yet because the BlAIR is too dependant and not herself to be in a relationship.
She has not had any character development. None. At all. She's actually become more annoying and more irritating than ever. I'm not asking for the old B back, I know that's impossible, I'm asking for the writers to fix her!
I'd have to pick Chair over Dair though. TBH- I don't think the writers could pull off Dair. They're too dumb to initiate it properly. For Chair there's clear chemistry and they can just throw in a random "I Love You" and done.
I hope this show ends. My goodness, I can't take another season!
I like how Safran is trying to sound "insightful" when talking about Gossip Girl, but ends up just sounding even more stupid.
I'd like to inform you Safran that your show is worse than a steaming pile of dog and elephant crap mixed together with horse's vomit. Or at least the writing is. This show is so bad I laugh every time a character speaks, and imagine different ways to violently axe off Louis. Point is, the only thing people watch for are your dumb, poorly written as of season 3 ships! Here you are telling us there's no "endgame"; I shouldn't even both watching then. Thanks Safran!
What happened to the writers of S1 and S2? Bring them back.
But, Chuck would have been alive before she started praying. A nurse doesn't just magically pop up (in seconds) to tell you the good news. It still is faulty. If Blair started praying perhaps half an hour before Chuck was better, than I could excuse some of its silliness.
Damon is not a good guy. Or a bad guy. Stefan is not a good guy. Or a bad guy. Elena, according to the writers, is an angel.
There is such thing as multi-dementional characters, which Stefan and Damon were created to be. Vampires can NOT be completely good, however there's no saying they can't be completely bad.
