@Bazuka74:
You really do have issues if you're coming back everyday to respond to a person targeting you about your opinion. You're yelling at people for defending a show that they've been following for years. So I believe that as loyal and proud fan of Grey's Anatomy, I do tell you to shut up and to STOP judging my show.
@bazuka74: You clearly have issues. Please, just be quiet. You're welcome to have an opinion, but you're seriously just going insane for no reason. Drop it. Seriously. Just get over it. Wait for the episode to air, THEN have your opinion on it. You can't tell what an episode will involve just because you have read spoilers and interviews about it. Until it ACTUALLY airs and you watch and focus on EVERY little scene of the episode, you THEN may judge it. But until then, please, I beg of you, just shut up!
This episode really has powerful stuff.
I really enjoyed Addison's eulogy speech. It was so cold and so nonchalant.
It was good to see Amelia actually have an empathetic side. Not that she doesn't already, it was just good to see it out in the open.
As for Pete and The Captain, I'm proud of Pete for not hitting him. If it were my wife, I'd have knocked him out. But I agree with Pete's speech about how Addison and Archer need a father right now.
Naomi sleeping with Archer was a given. Only she could spread her legs for a Montgomery. Wait, no, how can we forgot Violet? Then again, Pete and Sam did too. Wow. Half the cast have been with Montgomery.
Naomi is starting to get on my nerves now. She's abused Addison in the past for sleeping around. Anyone looked at her list recently?
Anywho, Violet and Sheldon had a fair interesting storyline. I really felt for that lady they were helping. I just couldn't even bare to watch. It was just too sad.
All and all, this episode was actually very enjoyable. Next weeks episode please. :)
This episode felt longer and more intense than any other. So many patients and literally, so much time.
I absolutely loved the scene where Bailey and Eli get caught in the on-call room by Derek. Hysterical.
My heart went out to Meredith when she broke the news to that patient family.
As for Teddy, she had a bit of a big role too. I enjoyed actually getting to see her character. Especially when Henry popped out of no where. I found it weird that both of the men Teddy was with also dated Elliot Reid from Scrubs. Awkward much...
Aside from that, Cristina still made so funny appearances, however being Callie's baby's Godmother? How awkward for Meredith...
I'm glad this episode focused on Meredith, it's been a while.
However, it was disappointing that April, Owen, Arizona, Callie, Mark, Derek and The Chief got only 1-3 scenes each. Each lasting no longer than a minute.
It was good though that Jackson and Lexie were seen more in this episode. I'm liking the chemistry there...
Speaking of chemistry, I'm starting to like Alex and Dr. Fields, although, she signed on as a lead of Charlie's Angels. He's gettin' his heart broken again...
As for Adele, if she has Alzheimer, I will NOT be happy. Adele's character is too good for it to be thrown into the dump like that. I'm gonna guess that she is gonna die and that's why Dr. Perkins comes back. Anyone else agree?
@GreyMatter: I'm with you. I mean, yeah, the negativity should stop, because I want to actually enjoy these shows with the negative comments about how the writers are ruining it. If people don't have anything positive to say, they should leave. People like you and me wanna enjoy this show. All I do is hear how the pregnancy is stupid and how the singing episode is stupid. If you think it is, don't watch the episodes and flick of the channel when the storyline comes on. It's simple.
And I have an idea for the negative people, if you truly HATE the idea of the musical, Callie's pregnancy storyline, and whatever else. Don't watch the musical episode. Even if the ratings for the episode turn out to be 4.25 Million, I don't care. Just don't watch and don't comment on post about it.
It's really frustrating and I personally think you're embarrassing yourself and your status as a Grey's Anatomy fan.
Annie and Liam won't break up. Apparently from what I was reading, Liam is the only one who believes Annie and decides to help her get the 'real' Emily out when everyone turns against her. So don't worry, them two are safe.
Aside from that, GO ANNIE! KICK THE BITCHES TEETH IN! :D
Maybe Adele returning, which is for 5 episodes, will be her demise. Perhaps the death is what bring's back Dr. Andrew Perkins for 3 episodes. The Chief may not be dealing with her death well and needs a counselor.
I'm not jumping for joy about his return, but I do find it interesting that he is coming back for 3 episodes. To me, it will be interesting as he is a trauma counselor and all. So his return must be good.
I am so excited.
To the extent that I could cry.
But I won't.
It would be so good if Lana could come back.
They have Lionel, Martha, Kara, Zod and now Lex.
I hope they bring back Lana. And I hope Chloe sticks around all the way to the finale.
I wouldn't be surprised if she leaves to take Emily back to Kansas. And she'll be taking care of Emily and Emily's mother and she'll stay in Kansas. Because she does miss it there, as well as her friends.
To begin with Charlotte's storyline, I must say that they're handling it well. It's enjoyable to watch and I am glad she got to confront her rapist and say what she needed to. I was proud and that she took the moral high ground and didn't kill him. But to be honest, if she had of killed him, I wouldn't have blamed her. I would have applauded her. And if I were on the jury, not guilty. Lee has done something horrible and like Sam said "he deserves something more horrible than death".
As for Amelia and Pete's storyline (which was left out of the review), I completely disagreed with Amelia on this, it was selfish of her to contact that woman's mother-in-law. If she said she could handle it, she could have. But it doesn't make Pete any better covering up for her after she had the surgery to fix her sight (only to make it worse). All and all though, it was resolved with a borderline happy ending.
I agree with the review, Addison did the right thing respecting Susan's wishes. Even though Bizzy did not approve. I knew for a fact that Bizzy was going to kill herself once she told Addison to leave. I knew it for a fact. When Addison came back and found her like that, I literally was in shock for Addison to have found her like that. It makes me upset though that Bizzy still couldn't tell Addison the words she needed to hear before she killed herself. A simple: "I Love You, Addison" would have been good to tell her daughter before she offed herself.
As for Naomi, her character to me seems irrelevant now that I know she is leaving, but I must admit seeing her and realizing it's her last season made me upset. Speaking of last seasons, is this Amy Brenneman's too? She is not in it much. Taking time off for season 3 and now this season. I understand her character is writing a book, but it annoys me that they're slightly pushing her character away for numerous episodes.
I've really had enough with couples splitting up this show. Either they're together, or they're not.
The constant love triangles involving Mark and Lexie with someone else is annoying. E.g. Callie, Alex, Jackson.
Seriously, put them together. And as for Alex, way to make a connection with April and suddenly dump it. It's the same George and Lexie thing in season 5.
Alex getting with Dr. Field's is a mistake. It won't last. Especially considering the actress has signed on as a regular in the new Charlie's Angels.
As for Meredith and The Cheif, their storyline together in this was pointless to be honest. To the extent that they were obviously just filling the script.
I liked the return of Thatcher, but that too was pointless as it involved really nothing. Just the approval of a girlfriend.
As per usual, Teddy lacked a storyline. What exactly happened to Henry? He just up, and went.
And finally, Callie, I'm glad she took charge and told Mark and Arizona what she will do with her pregnancy. I'm proud. This is one storyline that I actually approve of and actually enjoy.
As for everyone else of the cast, I wish they'd give them actual storyline's. I understand that it's difficult as it is a cast of 14, but it's annoying that the writers are just focusing on the same core characters as usual.
I'd actually like to see April, Jackson, Teddy, Owen, The Cheif, and Bailey get a storyline dedicated to them.
I like Shonda Rhimes. A lot, and don't get me wrong, but I wish she'd stop with the new shows. It's taking too much time out of the shows we love to watch by her like: Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
Making Private Practice took time out of Grey's Anatomy, which is why the show has gone down hill with the ratings, due to the amount of change and time taken out of it. And now, with the creation of Off The Map, it now means less time for both Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
I never gave Off The Map a try, and I don't intend to, and I dealt I'll give this show a try in the hopes they both get canceled and she focuses on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
