Please not Borin as Ziva's replacement. 1. Why would she want it? She has the equivalent of Gibbs job now. A reduction in pay and position for what? 2. It would not bring the team together. Tony has always wanted to replace Gibbs. but there is no way he has the chops before a government promotion board (I speak from experience) to beat her out for the job. And Tony would always let that fact fester in the background. Borin would destroy the team, not add to it. Nor do I see her barking out Yes Boss, How High Boss. By the way, where are Leon and Palmer? It shouldn't take these many new people muddling around to replace one character. They are coming very close to jumping the shark. The stories are becoming confused messes. I give them one more try. I have friends who have already quit watching. And I nailed the culprit in the first scene he appeared in also,
Ick! In real Afghanistan, as in the story, they are throwing acid in the faces of girls who try to study, or commit a long list of "crimes. That McGee would walk out and leave those girls to whatever torture the men had planned was one of two things: shameful or not credible. As for Gibbs kicking him out, again, choose shameful or not credible. Since these are supposed to be strong men who protect those who need protecting, I will vote for not credible, At the end of last season, NCIS was credited with 22M+ viewers. Three weeks in this season, 17M. I think there is a wake up call here. Somebody better decide where his show is going, and fast Otherwise I have $100 that it is not renewed. May not even make it to Christmas.
What I got out of it is Ziva made a big rethink when the doctor whined about no one mourning murders. Ziva, honey, your dear sweet brother was a vicious murder who enjoyed it. Why don't you and doc join the Manson girls. The lack of logic in the whole thing was Jump the Shark Territory. And how come the man who was prosecuting Gibbs show up in a truck to rescue him. But what bugged me the most is she could slobber all over Tony but not take two seconds to say good bye to any of the people three episodes ago she called "my family." If I was the new SecNav I would make mean old prosecutor go through every thing 2 or 3 more times to see if she wasn't a plant.
You missed an important option. A love interest for McGee. He isn't a kid anymore. Besides, unlike everyone else on earth, apparently, he is my favorite character. Maybe now that Ziva is departing Tim could get a life. And, please, did he write anymore books? And fire whoever is responsible for McGee's wardrobe, although it is getting some what better.
Correction, I apologizeBig OopsRank: ExtraAugust 27th, 2013 7:39 PM How is this for a suggestion? DePablo just wants to be an actor. There are 47 minutes of show and a planned recurring 9-10 actors per show. Add the suspects and witness, assuming Gary The Showrunner wants some relationship to NCIS'S old way of doing things, say solving a crime or two, then she - and most of the rest of the cast - get maybe 3 minutes screen time, not counting just standing around. Forecast: McGee will be gone next year which is when Murray comes up for renewal. They never have developed that character. Which is too bad, I like him and have gotten tired of his Abby's stupid puppy act. One other comment. Todd quit, Sheppard quit, dePablo quit. Each with little to no explanation, just the polite requirement saying how much they enjoyed working with their co-workers. Kinda makes me wonder how much fun working there iws.,

Am I the only one who has noticed that every female main character (excepting Perette) has quit the show? Todd asked to be let out. There was no explanation for Jenny's departure, but gone she was. Now Ziva is saying goodbye as Moonvees announces the offered her a big hunk of cash.
Here is an idea. Take a look at seasons 3 and 4, then look what Glassberg is doing. Downhill. There are 47 minutes of actual show time. They list eight stars, then consider to make a story you need more people. She can probably see very little screen time coming, unless you count her standing around with Tony and McKee taking turns making a comment on the victim. It could be simple enough that she just wants to get back into acting and stop being set decoration. There is one thing I will regret. Not seeing more of her relationship with McKee. ziva is very protective of him. And their scenes together, rare as they were, were always refreshing. And watch closely. They have been using the same stable of directors for years. Not any more. Some of the directors are doing Maxwell and King and another show who's name I can not remember right now. It is like Glassberg took over and decided to pull the show apart on the installment plan
This show is plain dumb. Max wants to drag everyone down by getting them into drugs, fights, etc. I strongly suspect she didn' have the chops to put the dome there, so this makes even less sense than anything else. And considering how happy Big Jim is to kill people, what is holding him back where Max is concerned? CBS initially advertised it as having 40 million viewers. I wonder how many it has now.
I was not the least surprised by what Jackie was doing. The minute we were told she took her financial actions in May it became screamingly obvious what she was up to. What I wish is that someone would explain McGee. Why doesn't he hit the streets more? He is supposed to be a criminal investigator. I would also like to see more scenes between Tim and Ziva. After Gibb's snarling, Tiva's games and Abby's bouncing off the wall and smacking Tim around every second or third show, watching Tim and Ziva interact is refreshing. Or, to put it another way, after being addicted to NCIS for 10 years, I have found something missing. I am not sure what but I am beginning to wonder if this is a police procedural or a police soap opera.
