No one is doing the same for themselves. I love donna...but he didn't do anything wrong in regards to her and it was like she of all people expected him to be different from who he is. I mean most of what he's being held accountable for this season wasn't actually his fault. It's been mindblowing that he and Jessica at times have caught a lot of flack and I don't fully understand why that is. They haven't done anything wrong. I mean they are corporate lawyers and it requires them to be a bit cutthroats. Yet lawyers old and new have made it their mission to be the mirror that Harvey can look into and examine his ways... I feel like people are expecting or asking him to change as if he actually needs to. He doesn't.
Am I one of the only ones who doesn't think that Harvey or even Jessica need to be "redeemed "? I loved seeing the background and hos things played out. Clearly not much has changed at the firm and the characters haven't changed much either. But this season as much as I've loved it...I've grown rather annoyed with how done pf the other characters speak about Harvey as if he's villanious or not a great person. Like how many times is Rachel going to accuse Mike (who she doesn't really know ironically enough that's one of the reasons they broke up) of being like Harvey and then adding that that isn't a compliment? Or Harvey is criticized or attacked for being the way he's always been and getting them where they need to be in the firm. He's s kickass lawyer and he has his methods, he's focused and tries to hide his emotions but he's always been honorable and loyal. I feel like all season he's been ridiculed for being who he is and has had what others perceive as his flaws on display when no one is doing the same for themselves. And I LOVE Donna but he didn't do anything wrong in regards to her or really anything he's been accused of this season.
-TJ and Doug. For one I'm proud of myself for finding a way to work TJ in even though he had little screentime and didn't share time with my favorite Tv grandma. The brothers in paper shouldn't get along as well as they do...but they do. I love how they didn't go with the typical sibling rivalry.-No. She should have went for what she really wanted.-Slightly.-Sleazy. I'm not remotely close to being that cut throat. No honor in it.
She was the best of them on TSC. I'm happy to see that she's found something new.
@Vanessa I agree.
Awesome interview! I love Gina Torres and Jessica is one of my favorite characters on Suits, for many of the reasons Torres mentioned. I've been beyond thrilled with how much she's been used this season!
Jx I agree about the voting thing. Harvey was the deciding vote before...so I would assume he'd be it again and obviously we know where his vote lies. Unless somehow he's excluded and hardman convinces someone to flip. I supose we'll have to wait to see that.
That was a truly incredible episode! I absolutely loved how intense it was! I thought macht s wife did a great job.I'm not a shipper for this show but sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who sees just as much ambiguous chemistry between Jessica and Harvey as there is between Harvey and Donna. Almost like the way donna feels about Harvey is almost similar to how he feels about Jessica...just like Jessica is as protective of Harvey as he is of Mike. Love the complex relationships so much. Anyways...I love donna to pieces and I was so glad to see her again. I still think she shouldn't have been as angry with him as she was. I really felt foe her on the stand but I felt semantics came into play there. Lois asked if she loved Harvey...not IN love with him. Loophole.I knew hardman was going to do that. Talk about backfire. Loved when he punched Tanner though. You never mess with targets people and I love how they showed how protective he is of everyone throughout the episode.
I really do hope this series is picked up in a more permanent fashion. It truly is too well written with too many amazing actors playing dynamic characters for this to just be limited. I cannot imagine how this is going to wrap up in three episodes or how its going to end. I gained more respect for Bud. He's slimy but he is good at what he does. Loved Nash. The dynamic between Elaine and nana was great to watch. Ellen B. Is fantastic as Nana. She's my favorite character outside of TJ.
I know and love five of these men to pieces. It's hard to choose just one among them. I'm leaning more towards Nathan and Matt though.
