Richard Chamberlain huh? I knew he looked familiar, but had no idea who he was. I'm sure I've seen him in things here and there, but what's he famous for?

I have just now gotten around to reading Sepinwall's post on this week's Chuck, and I was surprised to see that he used a similar format to my Chuck Triple Threat. I'm assuming this is what Dan was talking about in his comment, and since I've been doing that since day one, I can assure that style was definitely not a mimic.
JudgeRAW- I think you could be right, but something about the situation definitely gives off a creepy vibe. With how long they showed Gemma watching the two of them together, they either are thinking romantically, or Sutter wants us to think they are. A good possibility would be that they are having a brother/sister like moment, Gemma is going to confront them so that they don't hook up, and the two of them will tell her they already knew they were related. Sort of a John Teller relation sixth sense.
I may be an idiot, but I do not mimic anyone's review. I did, however, read a lot of the godfather of online tv criticism before I started doing this job, so I'm sure much of his style is ingrained in my brain. He's one of the best, so I'll take that as a compliment.
I love reading your 90210 reviews because they remind me oh so much of my One Tree Hill reviews. I started watching this show because it was an extension of the late, great Beverly Hills, 90210. I've continued to watch and enjoy this show even though it has almost zero connections to its father. It is mediocre at best, but I do still enjoy it for some odd reason.
Couldn't agree more on your feelings about Teddy's drinking and smoking. "oh he had a couple drinks. Oh he smoked one joint!" Remember when Dylan got absolutely hammered and stoned out of his mind for weeks on end? That is how you deal with someone going off the deep end. Or Kelly strung out on coke, lying in bed for a month. But Teddy smoking one joint and Dixon and Liam freaking out about it like he's run somebody over with his car? Completely lame. Take a page out of the original's book, and spice things up around here.
Autumn, I love it. Mama B knows that she has to go along with Volkoff's plan of destroying O'Rion's base so she backs all of that information up in Chuck's brain. The reason he can't flash right away because there is now so much stuff in there that it takes a while to download fully and he won't be able to use it correctly for a while. Awesome.
No I did not see the previews. I pause immediately after the episode ends. I'm one of those guys who wants as little information going into the next ep as possible. In fact, I stopped reading your comment once you asked the first question.
StingRay-
I haven't read anything Sutter's been saying about this season. He said that only females can understand this season? And I agree, it's been a fraction of the quality of seasons one and two. As for the 24 Salazars coming to Charming? There's a high probability that happens.
Betz-
My review was rather positive, so I'm not sure why you're so upset. I think this is a great show and Sutter does a great job. Like I told StingRay, this has been my least favorite season so far, but that could change over the next half of a season.
That is also Laura Izibor. She is the woman performing on stage at Tric during open mic night. Izibor is set to recur throughout the eighth season as Erin.
It's a big question. Can people really change? I think we saw Don trying to deal with that throughout this season. His proposal and future marriage to Megan could be his way of thinking he's changed. But if you're right, and he does go back to his cheating ways, then maybe Weiner's point, not much different than Chase's in the Sopranos, is that people don't change.
I don't disagree with your comments about my talents, but why don't you enlighten us. Why was Peggy so angry? Jealous of Megan? Disappointed in Don. I think it could be many things, that's what makes this show so complicated. There's not always a simple answer to an individual's feelings.
Although Haley's transition to working at the crisis intervention center was forced and choppy, she does have her reasons for being there. Because she got to such a dark place during and after her mother's death, she now wants to help others who are in similar situations. She got fired from her teaching job back in season six, for publishing Sam's semi-inappropriate paper, if my memory serves me right (which it often doesn't). I doubt there is more than one high school in Tree Hill, but I'm sure there are enough in the surrounding areas for her to get another teaching job.
Exactly! To be fair, there was a good chunk of time between six and seven where Nathan met Clay and they became close. But still it comes back to my argument that they haven't done a good job getting the audience attached to Clay and Quinn. Nathan has had tough situations in the past, and for this to be as big of a deal as others is ridiculous.
I agree that Nathan, in general, has become less interesting. Personally, I enjoyed season one Nathan and season five Nathan the most. He has been best as an all out jerk, like he started, or like he became once forced to sit in a wheel chair.
I've been bashed worse. Thanks for the opinions. Everyone has their own, and it's interesting to me that you've grown attached to Clay and Quinn, when I clearly have not.
I agree that the fantasy aspects of these past three episodes can appeal to some (obviously they did to you), but I think they just didn't gel correctly.
What do you mean by how well the show is made? Honestly, OTH used to be my favorite of the CW soaps, but both last season and the start of this one, I have preferred both 90210 and Gossip to One Tree Hill. Personal preference is what it is, but I'm curious as to what you mean by "well made".
I didn't see the EW article, but critics all over the interwebs have raved about Sagal's performance over the past year or so. It's too bad EMMY voters didn't feel the same this past award season.
Great call on needing something to kick up the dust! Which season was Nanny Carrie? Five? She was quite the dust kicker! Can we all agree that Dan was one of if not the best thing about this show?
I couldn't agree with you more about the guest stars. Why bring these guys in if they're not going to use them? You could have had any good looking guy play Isaiah Mustafa's part. Let him do what he does well.

Yeah he was one of the only Belfast guys that would have been recognizable. There's McGee, O'Neill, the long haired Vice Pres. and Chibs's nephew.

I love that half-sister theory. I'm sure John Teller is going to play out in a big way and this would be a nice twist to the whole thing.
