  1. Elementary Review: Joan Watson, Heroine

Fantastic season finale! Loved that Joan Watson was the heroine and saved the day, and got a bee named after her...excellent job, Lucy Lu! And poor Holmes, being manipulated by a woman who is so cruel and brilliant that she repeatedly wants to be with him, if only to wreak havoc on his heart.
Jonny Lee Miller is such an amazing actor, he manages to put some serious pathos into Holmes, making him more contemporary and yet still, at heart, a cypher. Natalie Dormer is also amazing, she always plays these sexy women who are aggressive, brilliant but doomed. She was in the most amazing episode of House that I've ever seen, and then she was great in the Tudors, too. Now she brings Moriarty to live in such a slick way, you could hardly notice her transition from scared victim to serial killer/criminal mastermind.
  2. Scandal Review: Back In The Saddle Again

WOW that was one amazing season finale! I was SHOCKED that Rowan is Olivia's dad...WTF? I never saw that coming at all, because it seemed to me that he wanted her out of the picture, permanently, which made me believe he wanted her neutralized or dead. I am glad that Jake is out of the picture, because he was just creepy, though he gave up his career for her. I was also not expecting Fitz to go back to Mellie, or her to accept him back, after all they've been through, and after all her vindictive manipulations. I honestly thought Fitz would try to make a life with Liv, and I am saddened that she didn't feel she could keep both her relationship and her business going. And yeah, David Rosen turned out to be the whitest hat of them all! I love that he gave Liv a hat. But I am also amazed that someone leaked that she is the Presidents mistress, and that her dad wanted her killed.
  3. Blue Bloods Review: A Life Without Hope

I agree with all that this is a great show about the power of family and the interplay between good and evil. I certainly enjoy Danny Walberg in every episode because he's so badass that his facial expressions alone are enough to really scare the criminals. I loved it when they put the gang on notice that since one of their own was dead, the gangs days were numbered...go get em! Anyway, I also love Len Cariou as grandad, because his acting is so effortless and sublime, I just want to hug the man at the end of each episode. He and Tom S play well off of one another. This episode, though dark, was still very well done.
  4. Once Upon a Time Review: Emma's True Curse

Hookified (dande), I think that most parents aren't able to sew or create outfits or accessories for Disney characters at home, which is one reason why they do go all out at Disneyland or Disneyworld. Also, there's the atmosphere and costumed characters all over the parks that makes the experience that much more magical for kids. But anyway, I loved the Disney commercial starring Regina, the evil queen...I hope that they paid her serious money for it, though.Oh and I loved the view into the Darling household, and found the casting of the Darling children to be spot-on! I am sorry that Emma can't be with Neal, but I imagine he will find his way back to his wife and son. Gold and Lacey deserve each other...blech!
  5. Revenge Review: Rules of Engagement

Wow, this episode blew me away! I imagine the season finale will be even more mind blowing! I am a fan of Aidens, and I hope that he and Emily will end up together because I can't stand Daniel, who is slimy and stupid and too rich-frat-boy for Ems, who is only with him so she can destroy his family. People need to remember that, that as Victoria noticed, Emily is NOT in love with Daniel. She never was. She's using him to get at his evil parents. I was glad that Aiden killed Takeda, but I wish we had gotten more information about what Takeda's beef was with the Initiative. And as usual, NOLAN ROCKS, yes, he's still my darlin' boy and the best character on that program. I think Charlotte will probably marry Declan, and yet I don't think Jack will be too happy about it. He's going to get killed, I bet, in the season finale.
  6. Scandal Review: Give For What You Love

Oh, and I hope they get rid of Jake, because he's creepy, no matter what he's up to...creeeeeeepy!I also do not think he's even remotely sexy, and I can't imagine why Olivia slept with him. Ugh. And Fitz only hastened Verna's death, she was barely breathing and was going to die in a few hours anyway. He could only be accused of mercifully putting her out of her misery. I loved seeing the whole team at work together, too. I also loved Huck telling Olivia that he didn't want to see her end up in the Potomac. Huck is just an awesome character, and I am glad that David is becoming part of the team. He is a smart guy and he belongs on the team...plus I think he needs to get back together with the redhead
  7. Scandal Review: Give For What You Love

I agree with BeBe that Mellie should have taken the deal and let the whole affair with Olivia go, but she couldn't do that because she allowed her jealousy to get the better of her, which is insane. Now she's going to get a wagon-load of crap from her husband, and she will have to watch as he basically gives up the presidency for the woman that he loves. Liv and Fitz are meant to be together because they are in love, they are soul mates and they have made it obvious that they are miserable without one another. I think Mellie got into the situation with eyes wide open, and she had to know that Fitz didn't love her. She is such a conniving, miserable, vacuous person, I can't imagine anyone could love her. She is power-hungry and a terrible mother, and I find myself wondering if Cy will now try to have her killed to save Fitz. Cy is really not the nicest guy, but he is honest, for the most part.
  8. Person of Interest Review: The Call

I love that Shaw and Reese are working together in this ep, but I kept freaking out that no one seemed to be able to kill that evil ROOT woman, played with sociopathic intensity by Amy Acker. She's insane, and yet she somehow manages to elude everyone, including Reese and Shaw, and attaches herself to poor Finch by threatening to kill his love, Grace. I can only hope that the powers that be on the show finally kill her off in the next episode. I was freaking out when I thought that the slimey guy from HR was going to kill Carter, but now it just looks like they are going to frame her for murder and get her out of the way that way, which is horribly wrong. I hope Fusco gets her out of that situation. This is such a brilliant show.
  9. Glee Review: With A Little Help From My Friends

Oh, and I adored that Kitty, who is also a witch, actually cared enough to help Artie get to go to film school, and I was glad to meet his mom, played well by Katie Segal. Oh, and YAY for Burt being cancer-free! Hurrah! I LOVED that Kurt sang to him, "You are the Sunshine of My Life" because my mom used to sing that to me when I was a preteen, and it made me feel loved and cared for.
But I do wonder what happened to Joe, the guy with dredlocks from the Glee Project? Why has Unique/Wade gotten to stay in the cast and Joe hasn't? That guy had some serious talent, I thought he'd be doing great things on the show, but when Quinn faded away, so did Joe. Oh, and one last thing, Mike's dancing has been missed! I was so glad that he and Puckerman jr did some moves this ep!
  10. Glee Review: With A Little Help From My Friends

I disagree with the reviewer, except for Mercedes as vocal coach feeling forced, and trying to help Marley become a "belter" when she's not got enough vocal power to do that. Those parts felt a bit pushed, but the rest of the episode was a delight. I love Stevie Wonders music, and in fact my family brought home the album Songs in the Key of Life and played it nearly every day for a year (so I got to know a lot of those songs by heart!) Also, we'd listen to some of his other songs on 45 records and dance like crazy around the livingroom on the orange shag carpet. So Glees interpretation of Wonders songs were great, at least to my ears. I also loved that evil witch Cassie was supportive of Rachel and that Rachel gave her the FAME baton! Such a cool gift!
  11. Arrow Review: Atonement, Rescue and Sexual Innuendo

Great ep, and I have to say that Felicity is a STAR! I love her character, and I think Oliver would be better off with her rather than snooty and naive Lauren, who would freak out if she knew he is the vigilante. I loved that Felicity went to Diggle and told him that Ollie needs him, and I am very glad that Ollie and Diggle are on the same page again, because they work so well together (plus, it is oh so HOT to watch them work out without shirts...two ripped hotties, yummy). I am also glad that Walter is back, but I also wonder if he and Moira will stay together once he learns how complicit she is in Merlyns mass murder plot and his kidnapping.KansasGuest, yes, I, too wondered if they were using CGI to make not only Arrow but his mother look younger in the flashbacks. It could also be good lighting, makeup and wigs, of course.
  12. Nashville Review: Rip It Up

Rayna's sister is also a piece of work...I don't trust her any more than I'd trust Lamar, who should have died of that heart attack. I am glad that Peggy is gone for now, but I imagine she will be back to wreak some revenge on Teddy the turd. I hope that Juliette learned her lesson about trusting men with her money and career. She needs to grow up and get a handle on her life.
  13. Nashville Review: Rip It Up

OMG, so because Will was always taking girls phone numbers, I assumed he was not gay, and then he totally freaks me out by giving Gunnar a kiss last night! I nearly fell out of my chair and shouted NO at the screen! Yeesh! That was such an awkward (to put it mildly) moment, though I am not a homophobe, I still felt really sorry for Gunnar, because I think he wanted to have a good buddy to go out and sing with and do daring guy stuff like outrunning the train. I am wioth Granny35 on all her comments, yes, it is about time for Deacon and Rayna to get together, and I hope that one of those girls is his daughter. Also yes, I did see that coming with Dante, who seemed like a slimebag right from the get-go. And please, yes, do give Scarlett more of a backbone and make her less wimpy. I hope she doesn't get back with Avery, I still think he's bad news. I still think Lamar is a complete jerk, and I hope that he and Teddy get into it and that one or both of them dies. Rayna's sister is also a piece of work, I wouldn't mind seeing her gone.
  14. NCIS Review: Fortune Favors the Bold

Linda, NYC, I agree with you, there are a number of people who could use a few lessons in grammar and spelling, plus punctuation. Unfortunately, they seem to want to remain ignorant and post trollish responses.
Meanwhile, I loved this episode of NCIS, and I am thrilled that Ziva finally got Bodner, though I did scream "Shoot him already!" at the screen when Ziva had that gun trained on him. I would imagine she felt that she had to beat him fairly, or not at all, so that is why she didn't take the shot. Still, the last shot of Ziva and Vance was worth all the mess and mayhem. Great acting, really to the whole cast. I was hoping for a little more romance between Ziva and Tony, but I am glad that they weren't hurt too badly in the car crash.
  15. Bones Review: Will You Marry Me?

I am with all those who say kill the freak of the week, Pelant, and get it over with! I am also glad that Sweets didn't die, but I am really unhappy about Booth telling Brennan that he doesn't want to get married. She looked so crushed. Loved Hodgins and Angela in this ep. TJ Thyne is one fine actor.
  16. Castle Review: Moving Forward, Standing Still

First of all, BEST EPISODE EVER. Second, yes, I cried like a baby, and I figured Gates knew about Castle and Beckett, she seems to be smart enough to have it figured out early on, actually. Yes, I missed Lanie, too. That girl is amazing, and she and Espo belong together. Speaking of Espo, I LOVE THAT MAN! He is so sizzling hot when he is being protective of the people he loves, and I was really disappointed that he didn't get to interrogate the bomber! He would have kicked serious rump! And YES, again, to the return of the Writer's Kevlar vest! LOVED IT! My favorite flashbacks were the kisses, inappropriate comments (and witty quips) and whenever we got to see Beckett all dressed up, and Castle drooling over her. Sigh. Yep, that man truly loves her. Awesome.
  17. Revenge Review: It All Comes Down To This

I am so glad that Nolan is coming back into power with NolCorp, and I have to say that I loved that much of this episode revolved around him...NOLAN is MY HERO! I love that guy! And I am thrilled that he whupped Falcon's skinny arse! GO NINJA NOLAN! He is by far the best character on Revenge. I was sickened to see Charlotte going back to being an idiotic party girl, and I agree with the reviewer that Declan needs to catch a clue about her, ASAP. Victoria is a sociopathic nightmare of a person, and I think her first child was better off without a mother who would abandon him so easily for art school in France. I hope he realizes how horrid she is when they find him and I hope he wants nothing to do with her. Daniel and Em together disgust me. I much prefer Aidan, but I think his time is limited now that Takeda is hacked off at him
  18. Once Upon a Time Review: Killing Magic

Fascinating ep, though I continue to marvel at how naive Snow is, how naive everyone seems to be about Regina, etc. I was surprised that Hook survived Maleficent, and I have finally realized that I don't really like his character, he's only out for himself. But then, I am also not a fan of Rumple/Gold at all. Regina is a prime example of beauty that is only skin deep, because inside she's a horrid sociopathic witch, about as ugly and dark as it is possible to be. Poor Henry, continually used, always trying to believe the best of people, even Regina. I am not liking Tamara and her boyfriend Greg, even though they are torturing Regina, who deserves it. I still don't like Neal, either, who for a thief seems very naive as well
  19. Body of Proof Review: It All Sounds Crazy

I just knew that Darby killed her little sister, and I was so creeped out when she was with Lacey! I thought she was going to stab her with a paring knife! Yikes! I also knew that Darby was lying the whole time and that she killed the girl in the shower. I felt bad for Megan that she was so taken in, but at the same time Megan has been so abrasive and rude and never apologizes when she makes a mistake that I am losing empathy for her. I am even hoping that Tommy hooks up the with pretty police officer, because Megan is such a mess emotionally and she treats him like poop. This show is on the verge of cancellation, and last night I saw why, because they've made Megan Hunt so unlikable a protagonist that people are losing interest in an otherwise good show with a great cast.
  20. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: They Grow Up So Fast

I think you mean a "fast one" reviewer...typo in the first line of your review.
Anyway, I loved this episode, because it showed growth on the part of Kenzi and Deeks and their relationship. I have been wanting the two of them to get together for a long time now, mainly because they are so different, yet their good and bad qualities compliment each other, as in Deeks makes Kenzi not take herself too seriously and Kenzi grounds Deeks when he's being too much of a doofus (though he's a hot doofus). And I adored Linda Hunts lines, especially when she asked Sam if there was anything she could do to help him and he looked at Callen and said, "Uh, no, I've got this" or something to that effect. You could tell he'd rather be bitten by a rattlesnake than have Hetty babysit his children! LOL! She is small, but formidable! The young man who played Javier was just so beautiful, and such a good actor, I enjoyed all the scenes he was in. He emotes so well! Wish I could see Kenzi and Deeks babysitting..I imagine it will be pretty funny!
  21. NCIS Review: Sweet Cheeks and Crumpled Fenders

I loved this episode but was shocked by the ending, and I sincerely hope that they don't kill off Ziva the way that they did Kate or Jenny. I just wonder why it is always the woman on the team who dies...does she get a red shirt when she signs up or something? Now I hear that Mike Franks is somehow coming back (I can't imagine how as we all saw him die and saw Gibbs at his funeral) so again, it seems like the guys are invincible but the women, not so much. I would freak out if they killed off Abby, as she's the best character on that show! I love that Tony and Ziva got some quality time together, and I also loved those scenes with Ziva as a child and the man who played her young father was amazing! I also always enjoy McGee and Ducky whenever they're in an ep, but Jimmy Palmer gets on my nerves, he's so annoying.
  22. Lost Girl Review: The Wanderer

Oh, and good riddance to boring Dr Lauren, who made clear her deception to Bo in this ep, and I believe that she doesn't really love Bo as much as Bo seems to love her. Seriously, Lauren hasn't done a whole lot of good for Bo as a girlfriend, and I think Bo would be better off in a three way relationship with Tamsin and Dyson, who are Fae and could satisfy her hunger and help her heal in ways that Lauren the loser can't. But as to why Bruce loves Kenzi, seriously WatchesTooMuch, who DOESN'T love that sparky and snarky little thief? Also, I've noticed that often really BIG dudes tend to fall in love with tiny, petite women, probably because they themselves are so big they appreciate something small and delicate. I think they make a hilarious couple, too. I just wish we could see more of Lost Girl before next year!
  23. Lost Girl Review: The Wanderer

WatchesTooMuch, LOL on the Bo and "Gowron" chancellor of the Klingon High Council comment! Go Trekkies! But I had much the same questions as you do about why Hale would abdicate the Ash throne when Vex has the Morrigan all tied up and ready for delivery. And it was never clear to me why Trick would abandon the Dal and go on a vacation with his lady love to Scotland when everything is in such a state of crisis with the Fae!Trick usually seems more like the kind of guy to try and solve problems, rather than run away from them, especially when his granddaughter is in danger from her father! And I also wondered that if he could disappear her in smoke, why he didn't take Bo before this, and why he took Dyson and Tamsin (though I have to say I also LOLed at Dyson picking pieces of the evil scientist out of his teeth!)
  24. Castle Review: The Billionaire's Kiss

Though I loved this episode, I agree with Dreamrose that Lanie and Espo need to get Castle and Beckett to have a conversation about their relationship and whether or not it will be leading to marriage. Beckett is scared about going into marriage with Castle, who has been married so many times before to glamorous women, and I don't blame her. He's a rich playboy, and though he loves her, she has to understand that he's still immature enough to want to finish a video game match rather than make love to her. There are good things about guys like that and bad things. The fact that he will always love her and be faithful is great, but his immaturity will shine through every now and then, because that is what he's like. Most men are like that about sports and watching it on TV. It's a guy thing, I think.
  25. Bones Review: Outbreak

I loved this episode, and was so happy to see Cam and Aristoo together at the end, and to see them admit to the depth of their love. I was also thrilled to see Hodgins and Angela watching Cam and Aristoo and doing their dead level best to try to keep him alive, while also trying to find the antidote. They are the best couple on this show, IMHO, because I have never really felt that much chemistry between Booth and Bones. But Angela and Hodgins were having nooners in the Egyptian exhibit in the first or second season! Lots of chemistry there. Anyway, I loved that Brennan stabbed that a-hole in the neck to get the antidote.I thought that was the best thing she's done for a long time. So I agree with Margaret Mary, great cast who carried out a solid episode. I was fascinated by all the mutated viruses they found in this ep, and how they found that it was a bacteria added to the virus.
