screwed by Fox? oh well. ..
edit - met* the mother of his children
When my kids grow up, i will tell them how Ted took 8 years to tell the story of how he the mother of his children, and it was worth that 8 years.
i don't know if i feel a little repulsed......or a little intrigued.
No offense to Lucy, but Watson should be a guy, IMHO. The classics have always been about the bromance of the duo.
looks like they are finding their feet. (oops, couldn't help it)
Peyton Sawyer? Kay Cappuccio? PLEASE, they got nuthin' on SARA ELLIS.
all this is good, but the 2 people WHO WROTE GREEN LANTERN? Which studio exec thinks that is a good idea?
Great start for the finder. i think i said this some time, somewhere before, but the premise is so simple that it would be hard to take in a right direction. That being said, i only hope the potential shown in the pilot can be fulfilled. Would this go in the direction of Bones, focusing on character development and intriguing storytelling? I don't know, but i'm in for the ride.
As for the characters, we learnt a little about each of the main cast, but more questions come out of that knowledge. why was Leo about to kill a man? how did Walter get Isabel suspended, Walter's IED incident etc etc. I look forward to be able to be emotionally connected to the cast like i am to Booth, Brennen and Co. If they do it correctly, Fox would have another golden goose on their network. (hopefully the axes at FOX are a little more forgiving this year)
last thing i want to say is. WHY NO LOVE GIVEN TO H.G. WELLS' CAMEO?
its a good start to the first episode of the new year. it brought us back to speed on the gang, it tugged on the heartstrings. if this is the sign of things to come in the new year for HIMYM, it's going to be legen-wait for it -dary.
To be honest, i don't see why so many people are so critical and negative about The Finder.
True, I'm a little upset with how fox is handling the schedule, but i see potential with the premise.
True, it's simple (its about a guy who is able to find stuff/people. DUH.),
but please, decide to watch more than an episode before deciding to drop the show like fifth period french.
remember, everyone dissed The Vampire Diaries, and even dissed the pilot/1st episode. and after that, most episodes were consistently decent, at the very least.
