I know this is a show all about our imagination but some things need to make sense for me to continue playing along.
So many things took away from the show this week. Augusts' butt was squishy as Emma leant on it... and not wooden, lol. As August went to sit on the caravan lounge (and during the falling scene at the end) his legs were too human like. I put this down to jeans being the opted clothing choice by the costume department because it's what he was always wearing but it just made the actors leg movements clash with what he was trying to portray (dark sweatpants... anyone?). The dragon... I had to laugh whilst he was spending more time on his magical hovering dust display then what... actually just disappearing? :D Also, the taser being what killed them... I can't. One, they needed to both have heart defects for it to hopefully work, and two... shouldn't August have started to smoke? lol. But I just... are we supposed to think the taser hit his wooden body and effected his heart, perfectly so that he was able to have final words and then... dead? :/
I know Lisa... "Where is this notion of the mother or Ted passing?? I think he is just wanting to make his loneliness go away by not having to wait those 45 days to meet her..." I'm reading the comments like, whaaaat?!
It would be an interesting little twist that I didn't seen coming but I've always thought Robin and Ted were perfect so after the show ends I'll forever think... it should've been Robin.
This last episode sold me on these two - please make this happen! There's something so wrong but SO RIGHT about these two on my screen!!
Holy **** this episode was so good. SO GOOD.
The costume department need to re-watch a bit of original Degrassi Junior High to remind themselves of the fashion choices made in the '80s
...shoulder pads, and big, frizzy hair continues to be sadly missed on this show for sure.
I'm so excited to watch this episode because of Nick and Jess but I can't get past that last spoiler... "Schmidt becomes fixated on the California lionfish, a fish that reminds him of Cece. Schmidt goes to great lengths to purchase the fish" ...of course he does. Love this show.
(cont...) It would make sense that this is something her parents have experienced with Hannah in the past and didn't want to have to go through again. Perhaps this is something to come in the future for Adam and Hannah, turning an already problematic relationship even more toxic.
Regardless, I definitely ended the episode in tears.
To me, it seemed like Hannah was in a much more dangerous place then earlier episodes, and clearly needing support. She was undoubtedly finding it difficult to first, admit there even was a problem; and secondly, embarrassing that she actually needed help. I personally thought Hannah seemed to constantly be showing signs that she was in trouble which her parents and friends seemed to only want to look into on their own terms.
I honestly don’t get Hannah and Adam’s relationship but he was the one person to look past everything else and realize what was going on when nobody else did, and everybody needs somebody like that in their life (whether friend, family member, partner, ex-lover, etc.).
The fine line which may or may not come about in the future and can clarify why Hannah’s parents distanced themselves from her during this time… is with people who manipulate those around them when they’re sick. It would make sense that this is something her parents have experienced with Hannah in the past and didn't want to have to go through again. Perhaps this is something to come in the future for Adam and Hannah, turning an already problematic relationship even more toxic.
(continued…) For this reason, we were also not heavily invested in Lemon and George. Yes, they were a cute couple we enjoyed watching at times, but we never saw the intense chemistry that the characters Zoe and Wade demonstrated. So, for Wade to crave Zoe like he did, and crave wanting to be a better guy to then just switch and think, yeah no, cheating is now something I’m capable of and to a woman I adore; yes, majority of the fans have definitely been left blind sighted, upset about the future of the show, and those behind the scenes capable of careless decisions.
