  1. NCIS Episode Preview: What is Ziva's Endgame?

My guess is that Ziva will do the tracking/dirty work but just as she's about to carry out her 'sentence', Tony/Gibbs/the team will catch up to the gig and keep her from finishing the job...then things could get dicey!!
  2. NCIS Round Table: "Detour"

Hey,...everyone plays a part and has a different personality on NCIS,...the interaction of the parts is what makes the show the attraction that it has (ala 20+ million a week!). Tony is the ringleader of the humor side, but McGee, Ziva and even Gibbs get their zingers in once in awhile. Even with the serious side of investigation of killings, terrorism, etc., there is and needs to have a nice piece of 'alternate entertainment' once in awhile. Ever hear a speech (politician or otherwise) that had no interjections of humor here and there???....not very attentive after the first few minutes, were you....same goes here....I say hats off to the writing, production, direction, & cast...the whole thing just works....what series could say that they were still #1 after 10 full seasons??
  3. NCIS Review: You Are Not Alone

@RobinR----won't have to worry about Hadr---he was done in a couple seasons ago when a claimore mine nearly claimed both Vance and Eli.
I've got to admit that I was wrong about Mossad being responsible for Eli's death,...even though it was not 'sanctioned', rather being a selfish move by the deputy director to move to the top---at least, that's what we're being led to believe so far?!!
That's the problem I have right now---it seems we've been left up in the air still---like we need a third episode here to tie up some loose ends.
  4. NCIS Review: The Steel Bonds of Blood

....got cut off...continuing....I meant earlier, "...he had to beg her to join HIM at the Vance dinner".
...in ending: "...and the direction/s of the rest of this year's episodes. Where does anyone think that the writers are headed with this?
  5. NCIS Review: The Steel Bonds of Blood

@Karla. I haven't studied or read up on the Mossad, but your assessment sounds very 'right on' to me---can't believe that the Israelis would turn on one of their own---they're just too loyal for that.
And,...I too will mourn the loss of Nouri,...his characterization of Eli was sooo perfect over the years,...and I'm sure that the writers knew that knocking off his character would take away from some interesting future plot adventures involving Ziva,...but, obviously, they decided to make that call!
  6. Brighton Sharbino to Play Young Abby on NCIS

Seeing how, supposedly, Perette is the 'most popular' (at least, most
e-mailed) of all the NCIS cast, this episode should be 'well-attended'!!
I'd hope that it will be as good as it will be anticipated :)
  7. NCIS Round Table: "Shell Shock"

@MKWolfe and Eric,...yep,...totally agree with the TIVA thing,...it's much more fun seeing them banter, tease,...then show their 'nice' feelings about each other at times...keeps us all guessing, even though I realize that many of the romanticist fans want to see a more involved relationship develop.
I'm afraid that the only way we'll see it happen is if one of them decides to leave the show,...then they might write in the romance episodes, eventually then exiting the one out so as to 'conform' to the Gibbs' rule; and that will then become a sad day in the life of NCIS,...as we know and love it today.
  8. Shell Shock, Part I

Yea,...the only problem is having to wait an extra week because of the election...speaking of PTSD!!?
  9. NCIS Round Table: "Lost at Sea"

Early in that first scene in the squad room, Ziva chides Tony with "you had your chance". Can anybody tell me when there was truly a time when Tony 'had his chance' with her?....and don't tell me in the elevator at the beginning of this season....not even close to 'a chance'!!?
  10. NCIS Review: Reclaiming the Good

How about Vance's loud blow-up in the squad room!? I thought that that scene and the office scene (with Gibbs talking about his car being wired to blow) really set up the potential for some upcoming PTSD sub-plots involving Rocky's character,...now that 'sleeping beauty' Abby has been 'cured'!! :)
  11. NCIS Season Premiere Review: The Aftermath

I had alot of mixed emotions about this season opener....and quite frankly, with all the promo 'hoopla', I was expecting more from this episode.
First, @Keith/others, I agree that the FBI/hotel scene was pretty contrived and unrealistic,...probably the only reason was to involve the FBI as another of the 'injured parties' and stir the process further.
Next, @Alihan, again I agree, the scene with Gibbs taking down Dearing was rather abbreviated, even weak,...especially for being the so-called 'climax' to this 5-6 episode man hunt. Heck, there was more excitement/drama when Gibbs slapped Dearing's photo on the most wanted wall than there was in last night's 'finalie'!!
...but, to finish,...Glasberg (as usual) did throw in some nice teasers to keep us fans wondering about future episodes:
    1) the Ducky/Jimmy relationship is bound to be expounded upon,...and rightly so...should remain fun to watch develop.
    2) Gibbs' basement not being big enough...where's that going to lead?
    3) Gibbs' reaction to Tony's comment on Ryan---speaking of tease!
    4) McGee's relationship with his dad...another personal issue on the horizon?
    5) Tiva---c'mon you guys,...let it be,...this is a crime drama series; granted, the personal interweaving of the characters'/personalities adds an attractive touch,...but it should not be the main issue.
    6) Abby...not sure where they're going with this, but it's bound to be entertaining!!
  12. NCIS to Tackle Military PTSD in Two-Episode Arc

@charli...I agree with you 100%!! Those two can tease each other as they will and it adds some good humor at times,...but the 'drama' around them in a romance may not be good for them or for the series.
  13. Palmer to Become Acting Medical Examiner on NCIS

@SMS,...oh, you've missed the boat or some of the episodes,...Gibbs has some of his 'human' side more than you think. That's the beauty of it though: between Harmon's brilliant acting and the writing/producing, he'll always show his Marine-like discipline on the front side of him, but his caring side comes out at some times that are really precious when interacting with his team. It will be interesting to see how Jimmy P. 'earns his stripes' with Gibbs when he's given more M.E. demanding responsibility.
  14. What overall grade would you give House?

@Elaine: Nice summation for a true 'A' series that House really was. I'm not sure where Aurora B is coming from with that 'D' assessment,...I mean, c'mon,...177 episodes---second probably to only the greatness of NCIS as far as current series go---how many seasons do you go to rate above a 'D'?? I'll be interested in seeing what Hugh L. does next.
  15. Will Jamie Lee Curtis Return to NCIS?

    @ValS & @MzLady
....nice to hear some positive feedback on my little brainstorm :)...it would be nice to see Glasberg pick up on our little input here on the 'Fanatic',...but I'm not holding my breath.
And yea, I agree...that 200th ep was a real chinese firedrill...and, even though I've loved JLC in so many things over the years,...this role has set her up to be the perfect undercover villian that needs to be properly disposed of!! Having a couple of episodes where Abby uncovers her true colors and Gibbs finishes off his psych-op lover...just how much fun would it be to watch that develop!!
  16. Will Jamie Lee Curtis Return to NCIS?

First,...yep, it's pretty obvious that the majority of the negatives about JLC come from the women NCIS fans...must be some sort of sexist psychology?!
Second, I agree with MzLady: I think that Curtis will be back to give some 'finality' to her character,...the way she raced off to address the ex- left things up in the air too much.
In that vain,...I also agree with Mitch,...she could be such an asset to the show. If only she hadn't been thrown into such an 'unlikeable' character, one that's now been too damaged to be able to recover any attraction to the audience.
One more thought,...how about having Ms. Ryan show her true colors as a 'bad guy' and have Gibbs (not Abby) become the final judge, jury, and (you guessed it...) EXECUTIONER----now that would be some kind of storyline!
  17. NCIS to Explore Love ... in an Elevator?

When it comes to Tony & Ziva,...everyone just needs to 'get a life'!! :) Their bantering, flirting, insulting, teasing scenes are great stuff...they help make the show what it is....entertainment....getting them in a 'heavy' or serious mode will affect attitudes and ultimately become demeaning to NCIS,...I think.
The elevator should make for a very entertaining environment!!
  18. House Review: A Flood of Emotions

Pam...I'm with you all the way,...after not discovering House till the third season, I've gotten the DVD's of every season and, after seeing every episode, I've come to the conclusion of similar finality. The only variation will be that House and Wilson will commit simultaneous suicide by driving off a cliff or into a gasoline storage facility (explosive enough?) so that they can end it all in some form of togetherness!! I know that sounds like some morbid way to end a wonderfully successful series of nearly 200 episodes,...but it may be fitting for such an emotional rollercoaster that House has provided us over the years.
Like so many of us,...I'll miss this series,...but hope to see the talent of Hugh Laurie in many future endeavors!!
  19. NCIS Review: A Slow Burner

No doubt about it,...consensus on an excellent episode.
This one really showed the versatility of Weatherly....prissy with his new boots look in the first scene all the way through to the spill your guts elevator scene with Charles at the end.
I like the way the writers are casting McGee in a much more 'mature' light now---think he deserves it after all these years!
My only complaint is having to wait 2 weeks before catching the sequel "Playing with Fire"!!?
  20. House Review: The Game of Risk

Lisa,...glad you gave this ep a good review,...I thought it was good entertainment,...not House's best,...but unique and enough unpredictable in it to keep us thinking. And that's why everybody needs cool out and just appreciate House for the traits that created the huge ratings of the past,...soooo, just enjoy these last few episodes,...realizing that when the ride is over,...you'll probably miss this decadent, misfit of a genius,...unless you don't mind catching up with them on USA or CLOO.
Until then, sit back and enjoy the last ride on the House 'rollercoaster'!!
  21. If I wanted you to be like me, I'd urge you to make a stupid, st...

This sounds like something that Taub would quote about House,...not House devining this about himself!!?
  22. House Review: The Blind Leading the Blind

C'mon people,...what have we always (well...almost always...) gotten from House??....the unexpected,...right?...this ep basically was no different, just that many got what we didn't want,...but, we've been there before, aka: team breakup of Cameron, Chase & Foreman, Cuddy leaving,...and everything in between!!
I'm sure that it's beyond our own 'layperson' understanding how tough it must be for writers to come up with episodes with background, characters, etc. that can constantly be of intrigue to an audience of millions week after week. I think we need to accept House for what it has been through the 8 seasons and 150+ episodes---most series are lucky to see 15-20 eps, let alone 10 times that many!!

Yep,...us fans will miss this decadent character so wonderfully done by Hugh and the other personalities,...and all of the wacky disfunctional things that went on in the midst of saving lives---that is and was HOUSE, M.D.!!
  23. Karina Lombard to Guest Star on NCIS

If 'Monique' is half as good as Franks was in interacting & making storyline with Gibbs, then she should add another excellent dimension to Ziva and NCIS....and probably play right into the hands of Tony who surely will be throwing out quips about Ziva's potential change of 'sexual preference'!!?
  24. NCIS Round Table: "Need to Know"

I was totally with Eric relative to this episode,...the 'Buick' one-liner, Abbey as MVP, Curtis in the restaurant ending scene.
Having Jamie Lee appear to Gibbs after his 'discussion' with Bayar would have done two things:
    1) added fuel to the fire of multiple agencies trailing the same suspect (gosh, how many times have we seen that over the NCIS years!?) &
    2) thrown more 'tease' into the next appearance of JLC!?
Yep, Eric,...think we should have been consulted by the writers for this week's ending!!
  25. NCIS Review: If You're Not Need to Know, You Don't

Another snippit scene that humored me as much as any of them was the Dorneget/Gibbs elevator encounter. First, he's not sure if he should get on the elevator with only Gibbs; then he's reminded to push another button if he's not going to the squad room; and finally, Gibbs notices his zipper problem with "...the Buick's out of the garage!"....classic,...even though most of us in the Midwest use the farm analogy of '...horse getting out of the barn."
Overall, this ep wasn't even in my top 100 of the 200, but that's the beauty of the NCIS 'thing',...they can have an 'off week' and still entertain you. I was glad that I stayed with the NCIS/LA episode following...probably better than the 'big brother',...at least this week.
Yep,..I'll miss it the next two weeks,...and yes, Steve,...when is the Palmer wedding going to happen,...we've been 'teased' about it a long time.
