@ whateva. Well said
Dair should have always stayed friends, and there was a dynamic to their friendship that I missed this season. I wish they wouldn't have made them a couple.
1) Chair proposal and where they are all talking about who they thought GG it was.
2) Yes and No. I really thought it would be Jenny. I thought it would be a cop out making it Dan, but it actually was a pretty fitting ending.
3) The proposal. The wedding was sweet, but wished it could have been a little longer.
4) About time , I guess. They really hurt each other over the years, but so did Chair, so why not.
5) Blair's dress in the flash forward. So cute.
6) Of course, I wish it would have been a bigger role. I think they only reason they got Momsen to do it was b/c they played her song.
7) A solid 8 1/2. Wished it would have been longer, the whole episode was too rushed.
I am going to get pissed if this happens, but what if this is a dream sequence. Chuck and Blair do get married, but he's sent to jail for his father's murder. This is just Blair imagining what might have been. I really hope not, but this GG, so who knows.
Dair was great as friends. Once they made them a couple it was just wrong. The only thing that was remotely good with them, was the elevator scene. They didn't have the romantic chemistry. As much as Chair is a flawed couple, the actors just had better on-screen chemistry. Simple as that.
Best guesses would be-
Chuck/Blair
Dan/Serena
Nate/Juliet
Jenny/Eric (long shot, considering he's gay, it's GG, so who knows.)
Jack/Serena (wouldn't that be fun)
I really have no idea
I think we can all agree that the writers completely f'd up Chair. It wasn't ever going to be a perfect relationship, but they could have tried a little better to make them not look like complete idiots. It is a shame b/c they have awesome on-screen chemistry.
@Vito
You have every right to complain about the plot holes and bad writing. If you feel that way though, why do you still watch? I am one of those "crazy" Chair shippers. In real life should these two ever be together, hell no. It is a show and when they're not completely making these two look like idiots, they have good on-screen chemistry. It's fun to watch, and I wish the writers would have handled the story better, but it is, what it is.
Yes, Chuck should have reached for him and if Chuck was an actual real person, he would have. Even though he would have been signing his death certificate, if he would actually have been able to save him. The thing is though, Chuck is not a real person. Blame the damn writers, who wrote that stupidity. It's all over next week, so all you complainers who say that the show sucks, but still continue to watch, can finally shut up. If a show gets to stupid to watch, then I stop watching it. While the show has gone in some very weird directions, I still find it somewhat entertaining.
@ Z
I agree with you for the most part. I think if Chuck would have tried to save Bart, it would have shown him as the better man. I was kinda let down by that.
Seriously, I'm so tired of hearing that GG ended at the end of season 2. Yes, the first two seasons were the best of the show, but it hasn't been all the that bad since. Well, except for season 5, still don't know what the hell happened there. It had potential, but then they completely f'd it up. This season is at least a little better than 5. Also, I think S6, has been not as well, b/c they only had 10 episodes to wrap it up. I think if they at least had a couple more episodes they could have done it justice. If you don't like it, no one forced you watch it. It's basically a nighttime soap opera, you can't really take it seriously. It's just a silly guilty pleasure.
Great episode, but one thing did bother me. Why didn't Chuck try to save his father? Bart even pointed it out, when he said you're better than that. They could have at least had Chuck putting his hand out and Bart still fall anyway. They just made Chuck look bad again. Why spend the last 3 seasons trying to redeem him as a character, just to make him look bad again? Still love Chuck(cause you know it is a tv show and all), but WTF?
YEAH!!!! I can't stand Taylor Momsen, (and frankly I'm suprised they convinced her to come back) but happy to see the character come back. I think the reason is that her and Eric are going to end up being Gossip Girl. Just a theory.
All you people hopeful for a Jenny return, don't hold your breath. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/taylor-momsen-says-she-has-223693
As for Eric, the only way he could come back is if the CW made a deal with ABC, as he is on Revenge now. He said he wouldn't not be opposed to it, but legalities would have to be worked out.
As for who I want to see come back. CARTER. I always loved his character and would like to see him end up with Serena in the end.
LMAO!! I just realized that I put N & D in my former post. Now that would be an interesting twist. Dan and Nate getting in on. Although, with all the crazy plot holes and twists this season, it wouldn't really suprise me.
@Anak INA
I was not just talking about last night's show, I was talking about the decline throughtout the season in ratings. Also, I blamed on the poor writing. I'm not a Dair shipper, but didn't mind them being together for the moment. I just wished they did more with it. The only Dair scene I liked is the elevator romp. They just made them uninteresting as a couple. Their dynamic as friends was so much more entertaining to watch. While I am a Chair fan, I don't want them together right now either. Blair needs to go find herself, before she can be with either of them.
Also I'm so sick of everyone bitching about everything Chuck has done to Blair. Do you not all forget about all the horrible things Dan and Blair did to each other before they were friends or a couple?
Sorry, Dair fans but part of the reason the show is at an all time ratings low is Dair. I know a few people who just stopped watching b/c they had no interest in watching Dair as a couple. That and the writing has been uneven and downright terrible this season. Long time fans are just giving up on the show. Also, Dan sleeping with Serena is as bad as Chuck sleeping with Jenny.
My prediction for the finale as far as C/B/D is that Blair will choose Chuck, but Chuck will turn her down for now b/c of the emotional roller coaster she put him through. Blair will spend the summer globe trotting and figuring herself out. (Which she desperately needs to do.) Now that I think of it, that makes too much sense, so it can't possibly go that way.
Lily: Yes, it is true. Serena learned how to be heartless and have no loyalty from me. My only hope is that she will have as many ex-husbands as myself. Speaking of, looks like another is in the works.
@Lorrain....If you read the post under my link, it was explaining why I think he really could be alive. The reason I showed the link is to show that you actually don't see him die.

If it's so horrible, then why are you still watching it? FYI, it's just a TV show. Not real people, or role models for that matter.
