How and why would the writer's make Dylan the father if Luke Perry's so adamant about not returning. This is where the story line can get really twisted and gain even more loyal fans. Americans love and live for the drama!! Bring it on 90210!!!
I agree with abby...as much as I love seeing the girls from the old cast, we really need to see the guys too. It seems to me that the boys are a little full of them selves (speaking of Luke P and Ian Z.) For those two to say they are absolutely not returning to 90210, them seem a bit egotistical and unappreciative! Honestly, if it were not for 90210, who would know of Luke or Ian? Hmm, I wonder! Don't forget where you come from - that's all I am saying. Be a little respectful of the 90210 empire that Aaron Spelling created and built in the 90's and give the fans what they want. Basically: Get over yourselves and re-join the 90210 family, especially since you have nothing else going on right now in your life!

Absolutely! I want to see all of them back on the show. I read that the main reason Tori didn't return at the beginning was because Jennie and Shannen were offered more money to do the show. With Shannen only commiting to 4 episodes, perhaps Tori will get the money she deserves, once Shannen is gone.

I agree with Drew!!! Kelly and Matt (her last boy toy from the old series) couldn't advance their relationship because Kelly was still infatuated with Dylan!!! Plain and Simple: It's Kelly's love for Dylan that hinders any potentially new and lasting romances for her. Kelly and Brenda never once said the Dylan was Sammy's father. Kelly said she still has feelings for "him" because he is her child's father and Brenda said Kelly couldn't be happy with anyone because she is still in love with Dylan!

Each time Kelly and Brenda had any interaction I was on the edge of my loveseat last night. Up until the very moment when Kelly’s baby daddy was “revealed” my guess was Brandon Walsh. Honestly, I have been undecided since the new 90210 series opener, but I started gravitating more towards Brandon. And last night, my choice seem solidified especially when Kelly tells potential love interest, Mr. Matthews that Sammy’s dad is ½ way across the world doing charity work – Hello!....that sounds like Brandon Walsh in Belize to me!!!!
So, how does everyone reach the conclusion that Dylan’s the baby daddy just because Brenda tells Kelly: “You're never gonna be happy with someone else because you're still in love with Dylan - and you know it!”
No where in Brenda’s line can you make that connection to Dylan. I don’t think the BD is Dylan…. I still think it’s Brandon – Brenda said Kelly couldn’t be happy with someone else b/c she’s in love with Dylan – That doesn’t mean Dylan’s the baby’s daddy though!! It seems as if Kelly allows her love for Dylan to effect the success of new potential relationships and that is totally understandable – Dylan and Kelly were practically joined at the hip in High School – who wouldn’t still have feelings for their 1st true love? Hey, high school loves do count for something!!!! I understand that during the “Kelly – Brenda confrontation”, Brenda tells Kelly that she needs to get her story straight – Could it be that Kelly still cannot get her story straight on her baby’s daddy and doesn’t really know who the father is? Maybe a DNA / Paternity test are in order here!!!!
But on a more serious note… via radio show, Luke Perry has announced that he is not coming back to do 90210, and via People Magazine, Ian Ziering has stated that he isn’t returning to his old zip code – so that only leaves one guy ….. BRANDON WALSH!!!!!!

I agree - Ty is a total tool and/or either he is totally gay - in either case he doesn't deserve to be with Annie! Although Ethan was doing some pretty wicked things in the season opener (getting head in the car - Annie saw him cheating on his then girlfriend Naomi!) Everyone deserve to explain their story and should be given a fair chance. Ethan's head-games (no pun intended, okay maybe just a little) but I don't think that should keep Annie from dating him - In Ethan's defense - he was cheating on the super-shallow Naomi that only cares about one thing - shopping! LMAO!!! Ethan would cherish his and Annie's relationship and never do her like that. Or at least I hope he wouldn't do that!
I agree that Sammy’s dad could also be Steve because of the 3 reasons listed above... 1) The baby has curly blonde hair. 2) His name is Sam. 3) Steve Sanders' mom's name? Samantha...I agree that Steve could be the Baby’s Daddy. However, given that Ian (“Steve”) Z. has said that he would never return to his old zip code (per People Magazine), I am skeptical in saying with 100% accuracy that Sammy's dad is Steve. But, he could be pulling our leg because the story line is perfect…when we last saw Steve, he was married with a child….the hook up that happened 4 years ago could have caused a rift in Steve’s happy family life and Kelly didn’t want to be a home wrecker – so she went on her way and didn’t bother Steve with the knowledge of Sammy. Bringing us back to current day…..anything could have happened to Steve’s family…wife and kid killed in accident, wife could have left Steve after learning of his one night fling/love child and could possibly have gotten a divorce. Aw, who am I kidding the story line is perfect for any of them: Steve, Brandon or Dylan! Oh, I don’t know what I believe and that’s exactly what the producers/writers want – they want us hanging on by a thread – Job Well Done!
Whatever happened, Steve, Brandon or Dylan is now ready to be father to Sammy and the Baby’s Daddy will be revealed TOMORROW!!!!! I cannot wait! Seriously, this has been the longest week in TV – the new 90210 is definitely keeping my interests peeked! I am so addicted now!

Clearly, none of the actors that played Kelly's lovers - Brandon, Dylan or Steve - have given the show the guaranteed green light to write their old character in yet. Hence…. no reference to Brenda as "Aunt Brenda". I think once the show secures the actor…..that will determine who the baby's daddy is.

They were much more than a high school thing – they continued on with their relationship way past those days/years in the halls of WBHH and they were almost married! Brandon would have made Kelly his wife and been a father to Sammy – I don’t think Brandon and Kelly would have just hooked up one night and called it quits. Unless, that’s the twist - Given the “brotherly sisterly love” for one another (which was the reason they didn’t get married) Kelly didn’t know how to tell Brandon she was expecting or even that she birthed his son because she had thought of him as a brother more than a life partner.

In my opinion, Dylan and Steve are not model citizens and they are not the kind of guys you want to raise kids with - but that might be just it....after the hook up 4 years ago - Kelly never told the Dylan/Steve that she was preggers and they were Sammy's dad, because she knew that they were lame back then and are probably the same lames today. Brandon Walsh is the perfect fit for husband and father to Kelly and Sammy.
