Surprisingly I actually liked this episode a lot. The Chair scenes were fantastic and Ivy/Charlie has actually grown on me. Plus the scripting in some of it was hilarious.
So all of you did such a good job with your videos. I'm a Chair fan, I won't lie but there was something about most of these that did something a lot of Chair videos don't and that's stay true to the scenes they used. There wasn't a lot of supplementing scenes that didn't really mean anything just because they fit which was really neat.
Video #1 - I Got You - Absolutely perfect in it's simplicity. Also the song is just Dan and Blair personified.
Video #2 - Fix You - Heartbreaking in ways and so well done. I loved the idea that they Fix each other after they've both been through so much.
Video #3 - Everything - LOVED the opening as well as Dan's dialogue usage because even though he wasn't talking about Blair in those scenes it feels like he was. Also it made me feel really bad for Dan.
Video #4 - Konstantine - Really liked some of the dialogue and scenes used in this one that no one else used and it seemed to fit really well with the beat of the music.
Video #5 - Hang With Me - I won't lie, my biggest critic of this one is that I think of Hang With Me/Robyn in general as being a Chuck and Blair thing because of the Piano sex scene and I don't really think of Blair as wanting to be FWBs with Dan but I still LOVE the song and the video was classy and completely well edited.
Video #6 - Love Me Cause I'm Fragile - How you made this song sound happy I'm not sure, but you definitely did it and I loved the concept. It totally works for Dan and Blair.
It was close between 1 and 6 but I voted for number 1 because to me it captured everything that Dan and Blair are and that last part with her walking into his apartment over and over was just perfection. Kind of feeling like writing a Dair fanfic right now haha something I've never done before.
I have a few ties to the show through my internship this past summer with Time Warner (parent company of the CW) and I can tell you right now that Alex doesn't know what he's talking about. They haven't written the season 5 finale yet and they are very tight lipped about any possible direction the series might take - last I heard the writers don't agree on that one.
But if I was betting I'd say that Blair will lose the baby only to find out that it was Chuck's all along.
First of I LOVE Bratt. My guess is that he's Pete's brother. Why else would they have brought all that stuff up about Pete's past. Not to mention they look just a little alike.
