Not sure why Chuck and Blair weren't given as an option - smh. Anyway - they are my pick with Damon/Elena and Fitz/Olivia coming in a close second and third.
The two that aren't supposed to be a surprise must be Chuck/Blair and Serena/Dan (since pictures were released of both weddings). Surprise couples...let's see. Lily and Rufus - because that's been kinda rocky (or maybe Lily and William b/c that would certainly be a surprise). Nate and ... - Juliet and Jenny were both reportedly on set so maybe it's one of them. Or Kristen Bell? Georgina and anyone normal - don't even know who that would be but her having divorced the ex and with someone else would be a surprise - hey maybe she and Charlie decide they're lesbians and get together (could be possible with those two) Or Serena and Dan could be a surprise pairing and Eric might be back with Jonathan as the other "normal" one. As for the shocking polarizing thing - I have no idea. The only thing I can think is that it must be tied to who's Gossip Girl. Maybe there's a pretty good chance that a bunch of us won't like it.
I was literally logging in to post the exact same thing that Minhtam posted. I was in the studio audience for the second day of battles. The steals were gone with like 4 battles left. But it would be so anti-climactic on tv if they showed that.
My guess: Blair and Chuck get married in present day, the flashforward involves like a 'what happened to everyone' kind of thing, including Serena/Dan's wedding which is where we see little Henry.
Just fyi I'm originally from North Carolina and as someone who's been to plenty of concerts in the Greensboro Coliseum I can tell you right now that you actually can hear thunder in that concert hall if it's storming - it also has a tendency to leak.
So excited for next season! And as much as I love gossip girl I think 11 episodes is perfect because it's going to force the writers to actually be deliberate in every piece of storytelling so that it can be told in the short run, which is great considering the meandering storylines of the past two years. Some thoughts:CHAIR FTW! Finally Blair apologizing to Chuck for not believing in him and for being unwilling to support him and fully invest herself in their relationship! It's about time. Now they can finally be on a level playing field and go do some world dominating type things. As for Dair - While their romantic relationship never did it for me, I appreciated their friendship and did think they deserved a bit more of a close than they got. But I think the writers finally realized that Chuck and Blair are the core of the show and knew that they had to bring things back to there. Serena - I CAN'T WAIT to see her go off the rails. FINALLY the crazy Serena we've always heard about is going to appear and I think it's going to be beyond exciting watching her go there and inevitably come back from that. I however think its goiing to be Nate who's her endgame rather than Dan. Gossip Girl (or guy) - honestly I always thought it could be Lola until tonight. If gossip girl is actually a guy that is a completely different ball game. Some interesting possibilities I've thought of. Scott - he was creepily obsessed with the UES before coming on the sow so who knows. Eric - it would make the season one rumor ironic. Carter - he's connected while enough on the sidelines to do it. Lola - kind of a mix between Scott reasoning and carter reasoning here. But really I just don't know And I'm not entirely sure the writers do yet either. Overall I was highly pleased with the finale and I'm soooooooooo excited for the sixth and final season!
I definitely think Elena will turn into a vampire which would kill Alaric because she'll be dead. And for the record, Team Delena. The real question in my mind is HOW Elena ends up turning - who's blood, who kills her, etc.
Just have to say that Somebody That I Used to Know was a huge hit BEFORE Lindsey Pavo sang it. Not that she didn't make it even more popular (she did) but it was already Billboard Top 10.
Faye looks eerily like Minka Kelly in this picture.
