This episode gave us some inside why Steve is who he is a Navy SEAL Commander who picked his best friend to go with him on a danger mission and he had to leave him behind in North Korea something a SEAL never does. I liked his friend Freddie hope Steve will remember what Freddie said that Cath is the real deal. This episode showed how important friendship is for Steve. Steve will have some quilt over Freddie's dead which was show when he gave Freddie's daughter the dog tag chain. I had Tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat the entire hour. This was the BEST EPISODE of all IMO and Alex performance was phenomenal. Michelle did a awesome Job. The Ohana moment at the end was Icing on the cake!
Next episode 3,18 will air March 18 so we are on a break for 4 weeks Bummer!!
As for Catherine I love her and Steve together and the moment I am not so happy how Steve treats Catherine wonder where the guy is who picked a flower for her and planned a romantic picnic at sunset on the beach but I keep hoping all will turns out fine at the end for these two.
I am also a fan of the bromance so why can't we have both Bromance and Romance on this show.
The episode was Ok not as good as other ones it was just average but it had bits of everything and all the 4 main characters had there fair share of screentime.
Let Doris get married with Joe and both can move to Japan.I am done with this SL we never will get any answers.
I liked that Kamekona had a bigger part and his scene with Kono was cute.
Loved Chin scene's with Maggie (Summer) and Summer fightscene was cool.
We had some nice McDanno moments glad they toned down Danny's whinning.
The end scene was awesome Steve face expression was priceless.
I am a McRoll fan love Cath but I didn't saw the need of Cath in this episode what a waste for Michelle talent to show up for 2 min to roll with Steve on the couch again 16 episode in the season and they still don't have any idea what to do with Catherine.
Girlpower!!! Kono loved her scene with Fong ....... Steve knowing after him Kono is the best sniper of the team so he let her take the shoot was the right call. Our Super Sniper Girl got the job done!
I freaked out when I realize that Robo Cop shot Duke I was relieved that he was okay by the end of the episode. I Love Duke
The ending was very touching Steve seeing Ben Keoki and Troy Ookala along with John McGarrett I hope it help Steve knowing now that his fater is proud of him.
Kudos to Peter Weller for directed this wonderful episode but also for playing a awesome creepy villain...Many kudos and admiration go's to Jason Koger Koger he is the double amputee and answered a casting call last fall and impressed the “Five-0” production team with the things he can do with his prosthetic hands
The cast and crew did a super job paying homage to the original, loved that they used the retro credits.
Yes!!....Yes!!....Yes! Badass! Navy SuperSEAL breaking the rules, throwing tear gas, listen to nobody but follow his own gut is BACK!! And of course Governor Steve took it all personal we talk about Steve here not a normal cop.
The McDanno bantering especially in the final scene was great Steve’s smiling as he realizes just how much Danny worries about him was adorable and Danny’s flustered response was perfect. Only Danny tirade in the gun shop was over the top for me!

Actually this episode came too soon after a spectacular one on Sunday whenever CBS decides in the future to give us an episode on Sunday after a football game, they better shows a repeat on Monday! Now we are on a break till February 4.
The major problem for me is that Peter Lenkov and Co has screwed up the episodes so much this season 3.13 was supposed to be 3.10 so I lost track about the storylines and that is why we didn't saw Chin recovering from his injuries he suffered in jail. And kono's investigation into Adam.
The episode was okay Loved the McDanno scene’s, Danny speech was cute in a way only Danny can say it and was nice to hear from Steve what a wonderful father Danny is and that Danny is his closest friend he has. The hug was adorable I am happy Danny won and Gracie stay's on Hawaii.
I absolutely loved seeing McG in his uniform Alex looked dam! HOT in it!!

Great episode lots of excellent actions loved that Chin got his moment to shine. And DDK knocked it out of the park.I'm glad to see that they mentioned that Chin was getting help with his grief, seeing the shrink surprised me.The action was great, loved McG flying Kamekona's chopper in to rescue Chin. It was good to see Super SEAL Steve from season 1 back! Catherine is back at work finally! and being back to do favors for Steve. but I loved how concerned Cath was for Chin this favor was really for Chin not Steve. Kono was not all that trusting of Adam, feeling bad for her, but was glad she was cop first when Adam got that suspicious phonecall. See a lot of trouble coming her way. Loved Sang Min helping Chin out at first and then, of course, finding a way to escape, for him it is not safe anymore to be in Halawa prison now that he has helped a cop. Loved the Ohana moment at the end on Chin hospital bed.
Can I say that Halawa prison seems to me the easiest prison in the world to break into or out LOL
Danny and Kamekona buying a helicopter was also very funny I notice TC's helicopter from Magnum PI in the background when Danny was dealing with the salesman? how wonderful would it be when Tom Selleck would make a cast appearance and if I may choose as Cath father then

What really got to me though, was when Steve said to Cath when they were in HPD that getting to the truth hurt and that the boy will find out sooner or later if the father did commit the crime, how clear it was that Catherine was thinking of the information she was withholding from Steve about Doris.
The Christmas dinner cargument was so McDanno snarky but hearts in the right place. I loved that Steve invited Danny and was happy to hear Cath would be there to. A McGarrett Christmas dinner!
Chin and the pig juice was funny, Danny and Steve trying not to laugh in front of the suspect and then him apologising to Chin . Found it a bit weird that Chin grabbed the shovel and began to shelves afterall it was a crime scene right!

A nice Christmas eppie Cath/Steve, they are showing them more as a couple they are so adorable together. Ohhhh Steve you are so clueless some times how in the world can a breakfast in your car in the parking lot romantisch. But I had a feeling he was teasing Cath we all know Steve can be romantic remember he picked a flower for her, the picnic at the beach in season 1, or how about suggesting a trip to Mumbai, and he made it up to Cath when their weekend was disturbed by an crime case Steve decided to go with Cath on the Enterprise. My feeling is that Steve always had planned to take Catherine out for dinner to celebrate the end of her leave's.
We also saw see a little bit more how the Steve/Cath relationship develop, which has been interesting, Cath even admitted he's her boyfriend.

Come on show Steve is a SUPERSEAL there were easily 3 or 4 opportunities where Lucy was well out of Ron's reach, when Steve should have been able to safely take Ron down. I want the old Steve BACK!!
Really liked the little girl playing Lucy her scene with Steve were cute and she want to marry him when she is grown up awwww your not the only one Lucy. but I was waiting for the moment Steve came back for her like he promised. and I loved the Aloha Girls leader she had great chemistry with Danny.
Big fan of Danny and Gracie they always are adorable! Didn't know Danny finally found a decent house was great to see it but I was hoping uncle Steve would joined them in that last scene.
Kono is being naive I get she trust Adam and that he is willing to change but to assume Micheal will do the same is silly. Why leaving your gun on a nightstand when you just met the guy. Wonder who he shoot or killed to frame Kono but I guess we have to wait till the finale to find out.
The writers had a hard time to write Chin in this one we hardly saw him.
I really miss Catherine!! Thank God she will be back next week.

Steve and Kono chasing the naked hula guy was hilarious!! Steve all yikes! when he tackled the guy down and saying to Kono "Your turn fair is fair"

The girl in the yellow bikini that's been in the credits since season one has been replaced with a shot of guest star Behati Prinsloo in a bikini. I hope it was only for this episode.
My hatred against Doris grows with every episode I see her. Don't like it one bit she pulls Catherine in her web of secrets. I bet she did the same with Joe, Doris does not have any problems to ask the people who Steve love and trust the most to lie to him.
And I am afraid it will backfire Cath she does exactly the same as Joe when will they understand that Steve is a grown man, he can take some bad news about his mother.
Now there is definite material for the Steve & Cath rocky path When Oliva talked about his momma issues Steve said "I don't like being played" Steve is not going appreciate having someone close to him lie once again.
I wonder how Doris will explain the broken lamp and the bruises on her face. to Steve. Speaking of Doris I didn't like how she torture Mangosta that woman is really sick in her head.

Crime of the week was good nice to see a different case and I didn't saw the Madam coming!, I enjoyed the cat and mouse game between Steve and Olivia of course our SuperSeal was right from the beginning . I liked the opening bit with Steve/Kono. It always makes me happy when they switch it up and don’t stick to their regular pairings
Loved badass Cath and her story with the agent. We finally found out where she lives she really has a nice home.
Steve and Danny where fun tonight I am glad the writers changed Danny behavior love him so much more now instead of a whiningand complaing Danny all the time............ and it was good to see Duke again. Missed Chin this episode!! Continue!

I loved every min of it finally or SuperSeal Steve is back, loved how protected Steve was over his sister Mary. Kono was awesome from her interactions with the younger brother to kicking the bad guy butt. Chin showing how badass he can be and I loved seeing his pain when he realized that Kono was in danger. You could just see he was thinking that he couldn’t lose another loved one.Great to see they toned down Danny whinning and complaining and good for Danny for once he could drive his own car. Mary sitting by her father grave was a touching moment. This show ROCKS again love season 3.
As far as the Steve/Danny bomb scene, it was great. I liked that they showed the way that Steve really does care for Danny and Steve having tears in his eye’s knowing it was so close that he could lost Danny brought tears in my eye’s too. And it says a lot that Danny wants Steve to be Grace’s father figure if anything were to happen to him.
Loved the Ohana moments in this episode we got nice scenes from all of the main characters was great we got more of Kono and Chin compare to last week.
Was it me or was Catherine a bit annoyed when she saw who was calling her she hesitated to pick up her phone maybe she get a bit tired of Steve for calling her only if he needs another favor

Loved the opening scene with Danno & Grace shopping. ….. I can understand Danny's rant about his daughter growing up in a world where you can't get on an airplane without being searched. He is a father and as a parent myself you always be scared something bad can happens with your kid.
The flashbacks into Danny's past was fantastic, especially learning how Grace got her name,and the tie-in to 9/11. I understand Danny now so much more he sure lives in borrowed time if it wasn’t the attack on the Twin Towers that day Danny would be dead ...... We learned what makes Danny Danny..... Hilarious that Danny had/has 2 partners who love to drive his car!! poor guy

Maybe it would be better to move H5O to Tuesday night where we have NCIS & NCIS LA as lead in. On Monday's It's a comedy night on CBS, and H50 is an Drama/action show.
This is a comment section so everyone has the right to his own opinion, we all have different tastes, Thank god otherwise it would very soon get bored in here. It's normal that people love some episodes and some don't.
I like Christine Lathi she plays her role perfectly and her scene's with Alex are wonderful. It is her character Doris I dislike but she is here for a reason to continue the storyline for Steve. What changed from 20 years ago that makes it safe for Doris to decide to stay in the house now? Wo-Fat is still there why fake her own death and leave her family in the first place. I hope we get answers soon and not in the season finale I don't want that Doris becomes a second Joe.

I think Steve realizes that the mother he loved when he was a boy doesn't exist anymore. I even doubt of Doris loves her kids, Steve will keep a close eye on her with help from his team and Cath, he will find out what she is hiding even when the truth will hurt him. I am looking forward to it how this all will play out.

Hawaii Five-0 Review: Borrowed Time
The father daughter dance at the end was too cute, I thought using the One Direction song was realistic too for Grace's age.
I thought Scott's acting was phenomenal..and Alex also showed his great acting skills in this episode well done guys!
Flashback episodes can be confusing but this one flowed perfectly. Kudos to the writers and directing for a job well done!!
Looking forward to next week and watching the promo it will be another great episode!
Hawaii Five-0 Review: Borrowed Time
As far as the Steve/Danny bomb scene, it was great. I liked that they showed the way that Steve really does care for Danny and Steve having tears in his eye’s knowing it was so close that he could lost Danny brought tears in my eye’s too. And it says a lot that Danny wants Steve to be Grace’s father figure if anything were to happen to him.
Loved the Ohana moments in this episode we got nice scenes from all of the main characters was great we got more of Kono and Chin compare to last week.
Was it me or was Catherine a bit annoyed when she saw who was calling her she hesitated to pick up her phone maybe she get a bit tired of Steve for calling her only if he needs another favor

Loved the opening scene with Danno & Grace shopping. ….. I can understand Danny's rant about his daughter growing up in a world where you can't get on an airplane without being searched. He is a father and as a parent myself you always be scared something bad can happens with your kid.
The flashbacks into Danny's past was fantastic, especially learning how Grace got her name,and the tie-in to 9/11. I understand Danny now so much more he sure lives in borrowed time if it wasn’t the attack on the Twin Towers that day Danny would be dead ...... We learned what makes Danny Danny..... Hilarious that Danny had/has 2 partners who love to drive his car!! poor guy

I like Christine Lathi she plays her role perfectly and her scene's with Alex are wonderful. It is her character Doris I dislike but she is here for a reason to continue the storyline for Steve. What changed from 20 years ago that makes it safe for Doris to decide to stay in the house now? Wo-Fat is still there why fake her own death and leave her family in the first place. I hope we get answers soon and not in the season finale I don't want that Doris becomes a second Joe.

I think Steve realizes that the mother he loved when he was a boy doesn't exist anymore. I even doubt of Doris loves her kids, Steve will keep a close eye on her with help from his team and Cath, he will find out what she is hiding even when the truth will hurt him. I am looking forward to it how this all will play out.

Really great episode One of the best episodes ever - loved it.
I'm pretty happy with the way this season is going looks season 3 will be the best yet!
