Another great episode not as good as last week but it will be tough to top that one .
The serial killer was one of the creepiest i've seen in a long while, when Chin enter that house I wanted to scream get out of there. Chin his fight scene were awesome and I was glad that the girlfriend could help Chin through wave the gun to Chin and Chin didn't hesitate and killed the bastard. I guess It was the fingers that he cut off from his victims who where in the safe.
Well Steve it's time you pick up a bill and pay for it.
Was sweet to see Leilani back her scene at the end with Chin was cute I am glad that Chin have some happiness back in his live.
Grover is a great Santa Ho Ho Ho but TBH I didn't see the point for calling SWAT on this case.
Grace is in Vancouver hope she will find Adam soon I am getting tired of this ongoing SL.
Will Max ever become friends with Danny these two mocking each other was fun to watch
Gracie finding a puzzle box with a medallion and inside a picture of a little girl what seems later was washed from the terrible tsunami that hit Japan. It was sweet of Danny to ask Fong if he could find the owner of the box and Fong did, it belongs to a little girl who died in the Tsunami. The only survivor was her father as Danny and Grace flew to Japan to give it back I am glad the father has a photo of his little girl now.
Loved all the personal moments at the end
As a McRoll fan I am disappointed about the lack of scene's between them no kiss or hug in the last few episodes .
What also bothers me this episode is that Danny who didn't had a penny in season 2 and 3 now could fly to Japan with Gracie to return the box.
Wish you all and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2014
Outstanding history lesson intertwined with a great touching story. Everything in this episode was truly amazing. It was so well made and the acting, the writing, the beautiful music. Kudos to cast and crew for a superb job! This will go down as possibly the very best episode of the serie.
The story David told about his family and what they went throught was very moving . Plus the connection for Steve and his grandfather was wonderful. It was wonderful to see how humble and with lot of respect Steve handle this case. Danny was right it made him softie almost human
This episode showed us that people like David also were victims of that horrible war. I didn't even knew about the internment camps ......... James Saito was just amazing as David give that man a Emmy. They did a great job of aging him for the role in real life he is 58 years old.
A wonderful tribute to the remembrance of that tragic day on December 7th 1941. Peter Lenkov & Ken Solarz and Larry Teng did a terrific job and must be proud that this episode will air for a year on the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Habor.

What a poignant and emotional episode I loved it! exactly what a true Thanksgiving celebration should be!
Seeing everyone playing football together was a perfect start for a Thankgiving episode, just as the game is tied Steve has to leave to put the turkey in the oven.
Danno was a bit jealous to see Grover on the football field and ask Steve why he was there Steve explains, is that Grover’s family is out of town and it’s Thanksgiving so he invited him for Thanksgiving. The whole football scene gave me a vipe of true OHANA!!
Aunt Deb arrives at McGarretts home and immediately you can see that Steve has more feelings and love for his aunt Deb then he ever showed for Doris. Aunt Deb is the clue who kept the family together.
The jail scene broke my heart when aunt Deb explains to Steve why she needed to buy some weed she tells Steve she has brain cancer Steve broke down and cried and realize that his aunt Deb came to Hawaii to say Goodbye to him and Mary...... I lost it and cried Both Carol and Alex where amazing kudo's to them.
I was glad to see that Steve send Cath to pick up his aunt from HPD what gaves us a nice scene at a beautiful place on the beach where Aunt Deb say to Cath I have a feeling you will be around here for a while will you promise me to keep Steve and Mary close which Cath promise of course.
In the mean time Steve ask Danny some brotherly advice of what he should do with his aunt Deb illness Danny gave him the best advice their is enjoy your last Thanksgiving and makes some lovely memories. This was one of the best McDanno scene I've ever seen in 4 seasons.
For me this Thanksgiving episode was all about family (Ohana) if it's your family by blood our your work Ohana this is the true meaning of Thanksgiving sharing it together and be there for each other. Wish we could see aunt Deb again but we don't
The crime case itself was good and I liked the twist of and ending but was secondary for me.
I loved that we can see how changed Steve characters really is from a cold men in season 1 to a men who shows his feelings in season 4.
I wish you all and your family's a very Happy Thanksgiving!

This comment is from another site and I quote:
(((This was the same ep that was filmed during this year's Sunset on the Beach premiere week; Scott was also absent from that. I've seen pics of him participating in a surfing clinic held by 1 of the charities he works with that teach the sport to kids/young people with various disabilities, & that clinic was in Southern California the last week of September, the same as this ep was filmed & Sunset on the Beach was held, so that's probably where Scott was.)))
And we know that Danny also won't appear in 4.13 and maybe another episode this season. Scott is working on a play which he write and produce so it's all for personal reasons that Danny is absence in some epsiodes this season. It's nice of Peter lenkov to allow Scott to do what he loves to do but on the otherhand with another main cast member being absent I don't think it was wise of him. And Scott sign a contract for several years I think he needs to think of the fans also.

It was an episode fulll of action and humor just Fantastic!!
Great to see the team helping Kono finding Adam they caught Sato very quick and I was happy to hear from him Adam was still alive!!
Steve and Grover- EPIC !! all around brilliant dialogue- and they worked very well off each other. Can't wait to see more about Chi his scene's with his daughter were cute reminds me of the bond Danny has with Gracie wonder what the reason is Grover moved to Hawaii
Speaking about Danny sorry Danny fans but I didn't missed Danny in this episode!
Finally we got to see Govenor Denning again loved that he calls Steve by his name in stead of Commander.
I thought the use of Catherine in the episode was very well done too. She did exactly what many of us were hoping she'd do. Manning the computer table and seeing her do what she does best, intel. Was cute how Chin called her Newbie.
Case of the week was interesting, for once no murder and it seems we have a new Villian for Five-O Ian is his name and Nick Jonas played him wonderful kudos to him
Still loving this season sofar the writing is great so as the storylines
People chill out first of all Peter can't don nothing about bringing Kono back Grace Park was on maternity leave while they shooting this episode back in September. Gosh!! actors have a private live too you know. Grace Park is already been seen back in Hawaii shooting some scene's be patience and be happy for Grace and her Husband with their little bundle of joy.
It wasn't Kono badge. Steve gave his badge to Catherine when they were in their bedroom.
Jim, it was indeed time to get back to the island and to our weekly review. Thanks for a great one!
The episode had his funny moments for sure Joan was adorable and I loved uncle Steve, uncle Chin and uncle Danny especially the last one Danny is a great storyteller the moment he tells Joan a story in his office about "Handsome Prince, Hairy Ogre and the Black Stallion". I immediately knew who he meant in this story it was hilarious and cute at the same time
No surprise Catherine's now a 5-0. saw that coming from the end of season 3. Cath fight scene was awesome she only had one scratch which I can't say for the guy she fighting with. but her finding everything about Sato on her own without any help from Five-O c'mon. Cath is not Superwoman.
Who in the world will allow Mary to adopt a baby with her background it wouldn't happen in the real world. I love Joan she was adorable but I didn't saw the purpose of this SL in this episode.
I like Captain Grover it's time someone put Steve on his place sometimes his arrogance go's to far.
Oh, and Fong is finally back…
Steve in a towel I can see every week Yum!!!
If that is the case they have to remove Hawaii Five-O from this site don't you think?
@jschoi.......... Cath said she was a mess ("Survior's guilt") at the end looks for me a good SL for Cath in stead of adding her on the team what many fans expect now will happen. Or Catherine can take over Billy agency an run that for a while.
