Suchs a different episode then we used to have but one with McG in full force. Again a episode without Danny (something I get used to tbh ) I thought this was a good one!! Loved the scene's between Steve and Odell they worked very well together. The ending where Steve was going through the ring of pictures of those little kids was gut wrenching. With every picture Steve saw he broke down more knowing what those little kids went through Steve ended up in tears Alex don't always get's the credit but he is suchs a gifted actor. Alex is great in the action scenes but in the emotional ones and this one in particular he was amazing!!! that last scene he knocked it out of the park well done Alex!! When Steve was hold up with Odell in the barber shop Chin helped Jerry to get out of jail lucky for Jerry Chin and Grover track down a man who looked sort of like Jerry. Was nice to see these two man paired up for a episode. We saw What!!! 1 min of Kono this episode not good when there is no team working she probably has nothing else to do come on writers do your freaking best for once and give the girl a decent SL. Something I found very weird If each of those pictures was a missing child, why the Hell wasn't Five-O, and every other law enforcement agency on the island, investigating that 24-7? there were at least 75 to 100 pictures why didn't we never heard of all these missing childeren before. Why was Five-O never called on this Aaron couldn't have killed all these kids in a short time.
Exactly my thoughts!!!!
AMEN!!!! well said couldn't agree more! and for the record I miss Michelle Borth (Catherine) a lot she and Steve were perfect for each other miss their scene's together Catherine always could show us a different Steve which I miss dearly now.
First of all wrong picture by the review please fixed that Thanks! Second Thank you Kathleen Wiedel for standing in for Amanda this week I have to say I agree with you some things were good some were bad and some parts over the top in this week episode. But I still liked the episode! I also get frustrated with Scott Caan absent in the team it looked of that his storyline in this episode were shoot somewhere else maybe LA I know Scott has a family in LA just like Grace Park have a family in Canada but she is in every episode why can't Scott. I loved Melina liked her role as victim /crime case-of-the-week and how the team saved her. And someone please give Chin something to do..what a wasted character…they are 5 main leads but Chin always seems to be stuck in the office. The last 2 episode where not the best of H5O and that during Sweep month February the ratings need to improve very fast otherwise I don't see a season 6 sadly!!!!

First of all Thank you Amanda for putting up this review so fast I know Michelle has quit and for you guys it's hard to find someone for the Friday night shows. So again Thank You!! H5O congrats with your 100th What can I say about this episode, is was actually both a joy to watch and really hard to watch. The torture sequences were painful to watch, I also didn't like the "what If" SL I rather had seen more of the rest of the team looking for Steve. Finally the Shellbourne case is OVER!!!! and Wo-Fat is dead it was what we all have said many times and predict Doris was Wo-Fat nanny after Doris killed Wo-Fat mother she saw it as her mission to help raise Wo-Fat. I was good to see Sang Min again think they did a great job to mix all the recurring characters from season 1 in this episode. NOW THE BEST PART!! I'll will give this episode a big plus only for Alex acting he was ABSOLUTLEY INCREDIBLE!!! BRILLIANT!!! How he broke down when Danny said Buddy your dad died 4 years ago I broke with Steve The ending is one of the best I've seen for a 100th episode the song was perfect I loved the flashbacks of all the touching moments between the characters over the last five seasons. Thanks H5O for 100 episodes I wish we will get many more CHEERS!!
I've send TV Fanatic a e-mail about when the review for the 100th episode will be up this was their answer back to me (((I'm sorry that you miss the review for your favorite show, but unfortunately our writer quit and I have been unable to find a replacement. There aren't a lot of people interested in writing on Friday nights. I hope we have someone for it soon!))) So we have to wait till they have find someone till then there will be no new review next week there will be no new episode so I hope they have find someone before November 21.
This episode was so intense to watch I hardy could watch the torture scene's. I really don't understand why it is always Steve who have to say good bye to a loved one this time it was Catherine after a relationship for many years they finally said the magic words I love you to each other a bit to late for me because we all know Catherine is not coming back and It will not surprise me when we get to hear they found her body in a episode next season. It seems to me when you are a lead character on a crime show you never will get a happy ending. Something that is really pissing me off. I am gonna miss Catherine and wish Michelle the best of luck in the future. The writers finally made up their minds Hawaii Five-O has become now a testosterone heavy show no woman is allowed to come between Steve/Danny. Not something I am looking forward to Steve and Danny are best friends nothing more wish some fans would understand that. Alex acting was outstanding the entire episode he pulled out an emotional, believable and heart wrenching performance in this episode wish we got to see more of this side of Steve. great job Alex!! kudo's to Michelle to.
Another great episode not as good as last week but it will be tough to top that one . The serial killer was one of the creepiest i've seen in a long while, when Chin enter that house I wanted to scream get out of there. Chin his fight scene were awesome and I was glad that the girlfriend could help Chin through wave the gun to Chin and Chin didn't hesitate and killed the bastard. I guess It was the fingers that he cut off from his victims who where in the safe. Well Steve it's time you pick up a bill and pay for it. Was sweet to see Leilani back her scene at the end with Chin was cute I am glad that Chin have some happiness back in his live. Grover is a great Santa Ho Ho Ho but TBH I didn't see the point for calling SWAT on this case. Grace is in Vancouver hope she will find Adam soon I am getting tired of this ongoing SL. Will Max ever become friends with Danny these two mocking each other was fun to watch Gracie finding a puzzle box with a medallion and inside a picture of a little girl what seems later was washed from the terrible tsunami that hit Japan. It was sweet of Danny to ask Fong if he could find the owner of the box and Fong did, it belongs to a little girl who died in the Tsunami. The only survivor was her father as Danny and Grace flew to Japan to give it back I am glad the father has a photo of his little girl now. Loved all the personal moments at the end As a McRoll fan I am disappointed about the lack of scene's between them no kiss or hug in the last few episodes . What also bothers me this episode is that Danny who didn't had a penny in season 2 and 3 now could fly to Japan with Gracie to return the box. Wish you all and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2014
Outstanding history lesson intertwined with a great touching story. Everything in this episode was truly amazing. It was so well made and the acting, the writing, the beautiful music. Kudos to cast and crew for a superb job! This will go down as possibly the very best episode of the serie. The story David told about his family and what they went throught was very moving . Plus the connection for Steve and his grandfather was wonderful. It was wonderful to see how humble and with lot of respect Steve handle this case. Danny was right it made him softie almost human This episode showed us that people like David also were victims of that horrible war. I didn't even knew about the internment camps ......... James Saito was just amazing as David give that man a Emmy. They did a great job of aging him for the role in real life he is 58 years old. A wonderful tribute to the remembrance of that tragic day on December 7th 1941. Peter Lenkov & Ken Solarz and Larry Teng did a terrific job and must be proud that this episode will air for a year on the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Habor.
What a poignant and emotional episode I loved it! exactly what a true Thanksgiving celebration should be! Seeing everyone playing football together was a perfect start for a Thankgiving episode, just as the game is tied Steve has to leave to put the turkey in the oven. Danno was a bit jealous to see Grover on the football field and ask Steve why he was there Steve explains, is that Grover’s family is out of town and it’s Thanksgiving so he invited him for Thanksgiving. The whole football scene gave me a vipe of true OHANA!! Aunt Deb arrives at McGarretts home and immediately you can see that Steve has more feelings and love for his aunt Deb then he ever showed for Doris. Aunt Deb is the clue who kept the family together. The jail scene broke my heart when aunt Deb explains to Steve why she needed to buy some weed she tells Steve she has brain cancer Steve broke down and cried and realize that his aunt Deb came to Hawaii to say Goodbye to him and Mary...... I lost it and cried Both Carol and Alex where amazing kudo's to them. I was glad to see that Steve send Cath to pick up his aunt from HPD what gaves us a nice scene at a beautiful place on the beach where Aunt Deb say to Cath I have a feeling you will be around here for a while will you promise me to keep Steve and Mary close which Cath promise of course. In the mean time Steve ask Danny some brotherly advice of what he should do with his aunt Deb illness Danny gave him the best advice their is enjoy your last Thanksgiving and makes some lovely memories. This was one of the best McDanno scene I've ever seen in 4 seasons. For me this Thanksgiving episode was all about family (Ohana) if it's your family by blood our your work Ohana this is the true meaning of Thanksgiving sharing it together and be there for each other. Wish we could see aunt Deb again but we don't The crime case itself was good and I liked the twist of and ending but was secondary for me. I loved that we can see how changed Steve characters really is from a cold men in season 1 to a men who shows his feelings in season 4. I wish you all and your family's a very Happy Thanksgiving!
