Btw I don't know if it's just me but I think lily is justified for univiting Rufus to the dinner. I know he's lily's husband and all but since the issues there were mostly about the Rhodes and VDWs rufus doesn't need to be there. At least that's what I thought. And he should really get off of his high horse IMO. She married lily he knows how she is he should just accept those shortcomings and try to right them and not judge it.
Can you imagine somebody else playing Serena other than her? And sometimes she makes me believe she really is Serena it seems so natural to her even leighton playing Blair.
I've always thought Blake can be a pretty good actress if she's given the right material. I mean I don't get why people say she so bad when in fact she's playing Serena van der woodsen for Pete's sake. And I think if she's not good she won't be able to pull this character well.

Serena and her father confrontation on the streets. Daddy vdw has really been an awful father to Serena. Another thing I really love is this scheming lily. Very calculated and heartless I like this side of lily once in awhile. Now that Lola has the gg password what do you think will she do with it? Will she be GG 4.0? Also now i'm more confuse more than ever with chuck's familial issue can't the writers think of any other SL about chuck ? I mean isn't it enough that he doesn't know who is real mother is now he's not even sure about who his real father is?! Give him a break please. Can't he have just a simple problem like which tie goes with what coat? also, I was expecting more of Serena as GG but as always I'm disappointed with the writers.
@Zoran also, you said your a big derena fan and so am I but don't you think serena and dan shouldn't be together anymore? i mean serena did treat dan badly before but so is dan towards serena. its just that dan has always judge serena and i don't think that going away. i want serena to be with someone who will accept her as she is. someone who'll accept her partying past, and will not judge her because of her previous mistakes.
@Zoran yes i remember season 4 and how blair tried to destroy eva. but now is something different , back then blair didn't choose anyone yet her heart still belongs with chuck. but now, she chose dan what i wish to see is that she realize that maybe she chose the wrong person that maybe chuck is really the one and that its too late because chuck has already moved on and will not turn back. that is what i'm trying to say.
i think 90210,TSC, Nikita will be renewed. i'm actually a fan of 90210 but ithink even if their ratings is better than GG, 90210 just doesn't have the same fan base as GG. i mean GG is not even cracking 1.5 mil viewers but if you see the forums or even the comments section of this site. the fan response is overwhelming especially dair and chair debate. but will be renewed for syndication purpose. i'm not a fan of both tsc, nikita but i got a feeling they'll survive at for another season. i just wish GG will have a complete 22 ep final season. coz if there's a big cliffhanger by season's end i sure don't want to wait until january to find out what's going to happen next.
@Elisa i agree with you. this is how blair acts toward chuck when reunion is on the horizon. we always see how chuck struggle when she loses blair. blair always have a man by her side when that happens and she knows that he'll always come back and always waiting for her. what i want to see is the other way around. how blair will feel when she realized that chuck's the one who got away and that chuck's no longer waiting for her and that he's not coming back. that's why i agree with some commenters that think chuck and serena start dating. to show that if blair and dan can move on together, so can they.
@Patience Dan is the reason why the dowry was reinstated. If he didn't send the video in to gossip girl blair wouldn't have been in that predicament.

I know that Dan is sweet and all with Blair but honestly I skipped that part in the met steps. I don't know why but I can't stand them anymore . I was okay with dair but when I found out chuck paid the dowry i can't help but feel that chair should be together. Btw, it has been teased that a couple will break up I'm guessing lily and Rufus . Worst case scenario is they divorce. If that happens Dan and Serena will no longer be step siblings. Do you think it's their way of leading the path to a derena and chair reunion since next season will definitely be the final season and this will be end game. Please don't hate on me dair fans just a fun speculation to ponder about.
@zoran I agree with you that the van der woodsens' and bass' is way more wealthier than the waldorf's.

after this episode i really feel bad for serena. i know it is her doing why lola is now the sort of it girl but being the it girl is the only thing that she has now. she lost her job, the person she love doesn't love her, her best friend is in love with the boy she loves, her grandma past away, her brother is nowhere to be seen, her mom is busy fighting the con artist. this season is the worst year of her life. but i'm glad she's showing that bitchy side of hers. i've always wanted to see that. i hope she and the real gossip girl will just partner up and wreak havoc in UES. i think that would be awesome.serena is as inside as you can get in the UES.
ivy's really only wants a family that i think is clearly one of the things that motivates her to stay but when she realized how good it was to be part of that world she become enamored to it and now wants to stay and live with the glitz and glamor that comes with it.
i don't get why ivy even sided with georgina.this might blow up on her face. G might be scheming against the UES but she's still part of that world, G is an insider and ivy is an outsider who happened to inherit a lot of money.
@pty you do raise some great points. but don't you think your over analyzing this? its great that you took notice with these kind of stuff. but the average viewer will not over think these. but thank you for pointing it out for us.
can't wait for serena to become gossip girl...i know she's the one written about but wouldn't it be nice if she accepts the laptop and be GG just imagine that much power over everyone she will have all the dirt on them. and that for me is very exciting
and if vd writers wre in charge humphrey will be the perfect wolf with all his muppet hair and chest hair.. chuck would be the hybrid and nate will be the one eaten since he's all irrelevant..LOL

the dorota and serena scene was adorable. serena and dorota are two charcters that live at the same house but didn't have much interaction but watching dorota comfort serena the way she does with blair was just refreshing. if i have a help like dorota i definite wouldn't let her go. she just genuinely cares about them.
