Usually, the term "bachelor" refers to a man who is not married-- even if he has a girlfriend. So, though he is in a relationship, Ed is technically a bachelor.
Not because I think they'll never get back together, but because I really do not want a perpetual season 2. I hated season 2. I hated Chuck and Blair's back-and-forth "games," and I hated the way they finally got together (I would have had them remain friends with strong feelings for one another, and then gotten them together in season three. I would not have had them basically fight all season and then finally get together on the finale--SO unoriginal, and, to me, it was unromantic and kind of "...that's it?" ).
Anyway, I am worried that if they break up this way, season 4 (if that even happens) will be season two all over again: Chuck and Blair on, CHuck and Blair off. Chuck and Blair on, Chuck and Blair off. I loved season 1 because they were basically friends who really liked each other. Sure, they fought, but it was not as predictable or as back-and-forth as season two.
Also, is anyone else noticing a pattern? In the middle of season 2, they broke up because of Jack. Now, they're breaking up because of Jack.
The only thing I am slightly looking forward to about this is seeing what the HECK Chuck could do to make everyone "hate" Chuck. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to hate Chuck or have other people hate him, but I am really intrigued to see what such a popular character could do to make people HATE him.
Serena: I can't believe Georgina ruined my dress. Dorota: I know, Miss Serena. It so awful. Why would she rip hole in it? Serena: What? No, she didn't cut it. She added length to it.
Nate: These cotillions get worse by the year. We go from a grand staircase to an auditorium stage, The Pierces to some other, lesser girl/girl band, and chandeliers to-- Lady: Excuse me, but are you the new "queen" of Constance? Jenny: Yes I am. Anyway, Nate, what were we talking about? Nate: Oh, not a major change of subject. Just cheap imitations.
First of all, it is unwarranted to target a group of people and generalize.
For example: Jenny fans-- you can disagree with our [Serena/Nate fans] opinions. Say you don't agree, and give your reasons. But it is SO unnecessary to flat-out say that a group of people is "deranged" simply for having different viewpoints. [I am not saying all Jenny fans do that-- it is an example based on "Cam"].
Second of all, I, a Serenate fan, have never called Jenny ANY of those things. Granted, I HATE her, but based upon my OWN observations.
And ps. I GUARANTEE people only liked those episodes for the Chuck/Blair. I DO remember that when Nate/Jenny hooked up [ew], Chuck and Blair were in the midst of their games.
I, for one, have a really vague memory of the episodes. All I remember is a. Chuck and Blair, b. Some REALLY tacky storyline about a 15 year old trying to lose her virginity, and c. Jenny's obnoxious hair. All of which, excluding Chuck and Blair, are of absolutely no value nor interest to me.
ps. Jenny and Nate's storyline was SO boring last season; I literally don't even remember the name of the episodes or what happened during them. I just remember that during that time, GG was so ridiculously boring/slow.
Hah. I find it pretty hard to believe that any guy would choose Jenny over Serena. Sure, Serena is being pretty idiotic with the whole Trip thing, but come on-- Nate was in love with her when she was an even bigger party girl.
And ew. Jenny not only has an ugly personality, but she is just not cute/pretty anymore. Sure, in season one she was cute, but now? Holy obvious extensions, batman!
Plus, watching her and Nate kiss made me squirm. Ugh.
I despise Jenny. I even like Vanessa more than her. Heck, I like Scott, Georgina, Penelope, and a doorknob more than her!
Oh, and to Shadow; haha, YES, I did used to be D&S[forever]! So funny you noticed.
In season two, I started to dislike Dan, and now, in season three, I very well may HATE him. Haha. Serena is pretty annoying too, but I love Nate, and Nate loves her, so N&S it is!
Chuck: If you two ever play 'grab ass' in my elevator agai-- [silence] Blair: Chuck? Uh, what's going on? Director: Cut! Oh, sorry; looks like his 2.32 minutes of airtime per episode is up.
WHY, OH WHY do both this website and Wikipedia say that the next Gossip Girl episode [after The Debarted] is not until MARCH? Will we not get our Christmas episode?! Will it really be that long of a break?
Tripp doesn't die. Nate is seen punching him outside of a hospital--most likely where Serena was taken after the accident. If he died in the crash, why would he be standing outside of the hospital?
