I love the Secret Circle. I can't wait to see what happens. I don't like Jake. I'd rather have Nick back. I can't wait for Jake to leave. I like a potential of Adam/Faye over Jake/Cassie. I want more of the show to be balanced and not about Cassie most of the time. Although I like her and Adam together just not right now. It's too early for them to get together. Plus Britt Robertson said the writers are going to stretch Adam and Cassie getting together long enough were it doesn't piss people off. She said when they do get together it will be worth it for the fans. Faye is just so multi dimensional. She's awesome. I love Adam. I would like for him to toughen up more. Either way I love this show. It keeps getting better.
Why do people compare this show to The Vampire Diaries? Besides the same producer, both are on the CW and the supernatural appeal there's nothing else to compare the two shows. Of course The Vampire Diaries is fast paced. Their on the 3rd season. The Secret Circle just started. I anticipate the more that The Secret Circle builds, the more fast paced it will be. I like all three episodes so far.
This one was my favorite. It wasn't repetitive like the first two. It was a turning point to get this show going. I like that we saw more of Nick and Melissa. I want to get an idea of all 6 of the characters. Who they are? Why are they the way they are? Faye is my favorite. Yeah she's a mean girl but she does have heart. She just needs to use it a little more. Adam and Cassie scenes were limited but still effective for the purpose that even though their powers are bounded, they still have a strong pull to each other.
Although I love Adam and Cassie, it isn't bad that they don't have a lot of scenes in an episode. Sometimes two or three scenes are just as effective. I like Diana but she seemed a little desperate at the end by proclaiming her love for Adam to Cassie. Cassie knows Diana loves Adam. Otherwise Cassie wouldn't feel guilty for feeling the way she does about Adam.
Charles and Dawn were not as sinister as they were the past two weeks. I mean I thought they would kill Zachary but they maintained their composure. I think they realize that Zachary may have opened a can of worms in regards to how suspicious Adam, Cassie, Diana, Faye, Nick and Melissa are or will be about what happened to their parents' circle and the accident.
Next week should be good. We'll get to see an innocent victim of the accident. Heather will just be another piece of the puzzle behind the mystery of what happened 16 years ago.
To answer the question as to why Scott will want a cure... Besides the fact it seems Allison has accepted him... He basically said it to Derek about Allison's dad and hunter's going after him... Scott's problems with shifting because of his heart rate increasing are far from over...
He'll still have urges to kill on a full moon... One mistake.. Accident or not then the hunter's will be all over him... Plus will his mom accept him? He has a great relationship with her... If Scott's mom was to find out will she support him or shun him?
This was a great season finale... It's rare you see a show kill off it's two villains and make it work... The writers did a good job with that... Derek becoming the alpha was surprising... I just hope he doesn't become pure evil... Jackson just doesn't quit... I don't think he'll be killed but something will be going on with him...
I love Stiles.. He is just too great for words... He is a nerd but when the moment comes to step up he never disappoints... He clearly showed he'd do anything for Scott... Hopefully we'll see Scott do the same next season... Lydia is the biggest mystery... What is she? I think she'll be an Omega werewolf... The lowest chain of werewolf...
Scott was great in this episode... The method he used to find Derek; why didn't Peter think of that? I hope next season Scott isn't all about Allison... Hopefully Scott can grow to be the hero Jeff Davis said he is eventually going to be... I love Scott and Allison together.. Their scenes the last couple of episodes were just beautiful..
I'd love to see Allison and Scott together throughout next season but that doesn't mean Allison cannot be a hunter... She has to follow the code though... I'd love to see Scott and Allison's dad have some funny dialogue next season...
The possibilities for how great this show can be are endless... Why does season two have to be so long away???
This was a great episode... I love Stiles... He deserved to have a good time especially with Lydia... Why did she have to go and find Jackson? If I had to choose between Stiles or Jackson I'd choose Stiles 10 times out of 10...
Crazy Aunt Kate stepped up the crazy a million notches this episode... This may be an unpopular opinion but Kate and Peter make this great show greater because they are so evil... It's good to have villains... As long as the villains are portrayed right... Ian Bohen (Peter) and Jill Wagner (Kate) play the evil villain so well...
I understand why they revealed Scott to Allison this soon... 1. It makes for a great season finale; which will include Allison having to choose between her family and Scott... (I hope she chooses Scott; Allison isn't as insane as her family. If she chooses her family she will be..) plus Allison knowing Scott is a werewolf adds to the story of Allison seeing who is really the bad guy (her family) and who is really good (Scott, Derek and Stiles)
2. The creators of the show weren't guaranteed a second season... So it's easy to see why they wanted to get it out of the way... Jeff Davis said there will still be cliffhangers in the finale and that he's happy they have a second season to resolve them...
I love bad Scott... It just added more to the character full moon or not... I think Jackson and Allison are just creepy basically because of Jackson.. I want to go back to tolerating Jackson.. I will if or when Scott and Allison get back together.
Jackson's interest in Allison is apart of Jackson's agenda and jealousy with Scott.. Jackson is either paranoid, jealous or obsessed maybe all three to seriously have Scott's lacrosse glove in personal storage? Seriously? Jackson's hate campaign toward Scott was kicked up a notch when Scott was named co - captain and when he figured out Scott and Lydia kissed.
I love Scott and Allison but Scott and Lydia's kiss was awesome! He proved to me that Scott has a backbone and isn't pathetic. Although it did hurt Stiles.. Lydia is proving to be versatile and interesting.. She's intelligent, talented, seductive, manipulative and two faced.. Just look at what she did to Scott and Allison by telling them two different stories about their break up and what happened last episode.
Stiles.. where to begin with him... He's awesome and so versatile first when he is drunk, he had a key made for Scott's house. Most people that is creepy but not with Stiles. The vulnerability he showed when he mentioned his mother and concern for his father.
Scott was the bad ass for the show until Derek came in and instantly stole Scott's thunder... Remember Derek said if a person is bit they'd have to kill the alpha that bit them but Derek doesn't even know if it's true... How is possible for Scott to be cured by killing the Alpha that bit? Won't that make him stronger? Turning him from a beta to an alpha? Derek wants to help Scott control his gift so Scott won't kill anyone but to also help Derek kill the alpha.. I think Derek may have been lying to Scott so Derek can get what he wants.
Oh, memo on Mama Argent. She's a nutter! I don't have to explain why!
I want Scott and Allison back together... Anyone else think when Allison asked Scott if he wanted to hurt her in the episode 9 preview that she found about his kiss with Lydia.. I'll place a wager Jackson had a part in Allison finding that secret out..
So close to seeing the Alpha.. I'm not going to guess.. I honestly don' know..
I say this every week but I can't wait for Monday!
Good review. I don;t like that Scott threw Derek under the bus but this isn't the first time. I mean he got Derek thrown in jail for saying Derek killed his sister. I hate the thought of Jackson and Allison.. Jackson has an agenda when it comes to Allison and that is Scott.
Whether it is just a curious Jackson who is pissed at Scott for stealing his spotlight and out of nowhere got better at lacrosse or if he is being possessed by the alpha. Jackson's agenda is Scott. This isn't the end for Scott and Allison.. The way she was acting with love and care when he wanted to leave to fight the alpha or when he wasn't answering his phone? (he doesn't have a phone) What is the point of setting up a Romeo and Juliet unforbidden love if you're just going to tear them apart before the reveal to Allison that her family are werewolf hunters and her boyfriend is a werewolf.
Plus Crystal Reed said Allison will have to make a choice at the season between loyalty (her family) and love (Scott). So they're not over. If anything Jackson just showed how much of a jackass he is. One of the highlights for this episode was when Stiles hit Jackson.. Somebody should have done it sooner.
