  1. Smash Review: Has the Real Marilyn Arrived?

It's good to see the four big players (Derek, Eileen, Julia, and Tom) working together without any real drama amongst them. It seems like the season will end with some drama regarding Rebecca, paving the way for Ivy and Karen to start competing against each other again in the fall. Derek's hallucinations with Karen are getting weird, though...I wish he would tell Eileen something about them so the audience could have a little bit of insight into his brain!
  2. The Voice Review: She's A Heartbreaker

I was so shocked that Christina chose Jesse! Literally...jaw dropped. I never really connected with his story all that much, even though he has an incredible voice. I thought for sure she would send Chris Mann home. And even though it sucked seeing Jordis sent him, I think Blake's team is incredibly strong going forward...love all of them!
  3. The Good Wife Review: Florrick for Governor!

I'm still so excited from this episode!

    1. It's clear that Alicia loves her kids more than anything in this world. One of the reasons I love TGW is that the brilliance of the show isn't limited to just this love triangle. So, forget Peter vs. Will, it's all about Zack and Grace.

    2. I think Alicia still loves her family structure from before Peter's infidelity/prison stint, and I think she secretly likes being one half of a "power couple". She may not be in love with Peter, but she's always been supportive of him in the workplace because she believes he's a good leader. It doesn't seem like Alicia's unhappy with their current situation...she's no longer depends on him financially or emotionally, but they make a good team when it comes to the kids.

    3. Really looking forward to Cary's return to LG. It better result in some serious screen time for Matt Czuchry...not only is he easy on the eyes, but his character in the first two seasons had some serious chops, and it'll be good to get that intensity back on a (hopefully) regular basis! Plus screen time with Kalinda!
  4. GCB Review: Good Christian Manipulation

This show is just starting to get good. I thought Sharon and Gigi were hilarious...Sharon's deep voice was hysterical!
  5. Maggie Smith to Exit Downton Abbey?

The show would be significantly less amusing if she were to leave.
  6. Mad Men Review: Down For the Count

I'm still not convinced that Don isn't going to cheat on Megan. When we saw flashbacks of him visiting Anna before he married Betty, he was so happy and really seemed committed to Betty. Obviously things changed! We're essentially only 5 episodes into the season, so we're not even at the halfway point yet...someone is going to cheat soon.

It makes me sad that none of them really seem content with their lives...and now I'd have to throw Ken Cosgrove into that club, too. Brilliant voiceover at the end, but I'm wondering if we're just seeing the slow decline of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.
  7. The Good Wife Review: Florrick for Governor!

Loved it all! Mike Kresteva is CRAAAAAAZY. Tonight's episode made me so sad that the season ends in just two weeks!
  8. Scandal Review: Sexy Secrets

The stories are going to keep me intrigued, but I feel like they're overacting...and I hope that stops soon! I'm also watching for the man candy...Henry Ian Cusick and Columbus Short. YUM.
  9. Revenge Sneak Peeks: Look Out, Daniel!

    it's about time!!!
  10. Glee Review: Two Hot Brothers

Overall, I thought it was a good episode, but I think some of the writing is just getting sillier and sillier every week. I keep tuning in because I think "Maybe this week, it'll be a great episode" and I don't wanna miss it. But that hasn't happened in a while. I'm hoping they win Nationals this year so I can stop feeling compelled to watch.
  11. Glee Review: Two Hot Brothers

No offense to Dianna Agron, but I really wish Quinn would've died in that accident. Simply because it would've been believable. If you look at where that truck hit her, there's no way she should be alive. So to have her back and in a wheelchair with a "severely compressed spinal cord" just makes me mad because the writers threw in a cliffhanger only to have everything be pretty okay when the show returned from its hiatus. That's lazy storytelling.

I did really enjoy the interactions between Quinn and Artie this episode, especially the scene where Quinn is trying to conquer the steepest ramp in Lima. And I thought Darren Criss and Matt Bomer were so believable as brothers, even if I didn't completely buy into the fact that these kids would be so stupid to buy into his acting advice.
  12. Mad Men Review: Mystery Halluci-date

I love that Joan and Greg are done...but I'm not sure that I love the way it was done. She goes from planning his welcome home meal to kicking him out in one day's time? I guess I just didn't expect that to happen in this episode. With that said, Christina Hendricks was fantastic in this episode. Good for you, Joan, for kicking that jerk to the curb!
  13. Scandal Premiere Review: Gladiators. In Suits.

Yeah...the speed talk was a little too much for me. I guess I listen slowly, but there were a couple of times I had to rewind in order to catch what the characters were saying. With that said, it kept me interested! I wonder if the numbers will improve over the next few weeks...
  14. Grey's Anatomy Review: Staring At Simba

I was so sad for the old couple. I kept thinking "God, he better not die" and was so happy when he made it...ONLY TO BE HEARTBROKEN WHEN HIS WIFE DIED. I'm not sure if it's because I've missed Grey's or because I'm getting too emotional, but that was tough.

Loving the Cristina/Owen storyline, though. I never thought of cereal as a weapon.
  15. Smash Review: Crashing

After being super annoyed by the absurdity of how they wrote Julia's affair, I have to say I was incredibly impressed by the blowout that stemmed from it between Julia and Frank. As a character, he's been relegated to the background for most of the season, a mere afterthought for both Julia and the audience. I thought it was terrific acting when he discovered that Julia was having an affair. I'm now looking forward to seeing more of Frank and how he and Julia deal with this situation!
  16. Mad Men Review: Take A Load Off, Betty

Glad to see Betty again! I just started watching Mad Men over the summer, when it came out on Netflix, and by the time I saw her in late seasons 3 & 4, I could understand why she had turned so icy. I love me some Don Draper, flawed as he is, but if I were put in Betty's shoes (learning my husband had made up an entirely new identity after deserting the war and had been lying and cheating for 10+ years), I would probably be a little unhappy/depressed/evil, too.

With that said, I totally agree with Jonesy. Henry is such a good husband to Betty, but he's obviously still intimidated by her relationship with Don...rightfully so, because she's obviously unhappy. Don is married to a gorgeous, young Canadian, but we all know he's not living in bliss. These two might find their way back to each other...probably not in a "happily ever after way", but it'll be interesting to watch it all unfold.
  17. Once Upon a Time Review: Evil Begets Evil

It was obvious the second that Sidney brought those flowers in that there was a listening device planted in it. So silly for Emma to trust him. And poor Mary Margaret...at least now she'll be free! Kathryn's not dead! I wasn't expecting that so soon in the story, so it was a nice twist at the end. I really feel like August is the author of the story...he gave Emma all that advice about writer's block. I just hope we find out soon!
  18. Mad Men Review: Spring Cleaning the Carpet

@Alex Roggio - It is the same kid! How cool must it be to have been on two episodes of television for two different television series on the exact same night, at the exact same time!

Being that this was a Mad Men season premiere, I thought it was great. Even though it didn't move very fast, it's always very refreshing to not have spoilers, or any big gimmicks to get an audience to tune in/wait for throughout the episode. I liked that there were little bits of character development - not drastic, just enough to notice that there was a bit of a jump in time - even if I didn't exactly like HOW the characters developed. I'm with Peggy on not recognizing Don, and it freaks me out! They also gave us a couple of stories to look forward to, like Lane's money issues and the Joan and Megan awkwardness. Overall, SCDP felt very bland (or stable, to refer to Pete and Ken's conversation)...but I'm thinking that'll work itself out over the course of the season.
  19. Smash Review: Houston, This is a Problem

Totally hit the nail on the head with Julia's affair. One minute she wants to adopt a child with her husband, the next minute she's openly flirting (and holding hands!) with her leading man on a busy Manhattan street. However, at the same time, I have to voice the utter ridiculousness that Michael is when it comes to the affair. He's just as involved in this affair, but could obviously care less about the consequences. He went to Julia's house and ended up kissing her on her front stoop, he calls her at home, shakes her HUSBAND's hand, threatens to "make a scene" if she doesn't talk to him. That's just kinda weird, and makes him just as unlikeable, IMHO, as Julia.

In other news, I'm still trying to figure out how I manage to care about the show while I can't stand most of the characters.
  20. Pretty Little Liars Review: Will the Real A Please Stand Up?

After watching the show and reading this review, I'm even more disappointed in the finale than ever. I know it's not like PLL is going to win any Emmy awards anytime soon, but I feel like this finale was thrown together randomly. It's pretty clear that Mona never acted on her own. Now she has a personality disorder, is in a mental hospital, and is obviously reporting back to someone else...which means that the real A is still unknown. I was really hoping for at least one shocking moment, and all we're really left with is more questions and uncertainty.
  21. The Good Wife Review: Let's Talk About Sex

I liked this episode. Was totally surprised by Caitlin's departure, but good for the show keeping us on our toes! Loved Diane's little ramble about the glory of the law...only to have it turn to a conversation about a turkey baster! I really love Cary, and I think his character is great...but is there a reason he seems so depressed this season? I'm not sure we've seen him smile in a really long time. I don't know if the writers have a point to this or if Matt Czuchry is just doing some poor acting (which I really doubt) but I hope things start getting a little more exciting for him soon!
  22. Desperate Housewives Review: A Shocking Death

Finally, I'm officially on Team Lynette. Jane was pretty inconsiderate in this episode, taking countless photos of her and Penny and telling Lynette about moving in with Tom. Tom used to be my favorite male character, and I'm all for him being over Lynette, but it's pretty disrespectful to come to a decision about moving on from your marriage without discussing it with your wife!
  23. Desperate Housewives Review: A Shocking Death

Still so upset at Mike's death, but the flashbacks we were treated to were so perfect! I think it would've been more emotional if there hadn't been any spoilers (because who can resist knowing a show's secrets before they air?) but of all things, I did like the way it was handled.

For once, I have to side with Gaby! Is she the most selfish character on the show? Yes. But at the same time, the writers made Carlos so extreme in handling his need to have a more meaningful life. Writing $50,000 checks from their personal accounts? Completely neglecting to consult his wife and family before making such drastic changes to their lives? I would probably react the same way Gaby did!
  24. Desperate Housewives Character Death: Revealed!

Great, Marc Cherry. Kill off one of the only people left on the show who has a little sense.
  25. The Voice Review: Let The Battles Begin

RaeLynn was not impressive at all.
