About April and Kelly: I don!t want them together. Severide wants to make things right and he should do that but I see April as a friend, not as a love interest. I see no chemistry there. Sorry guys.My guess is that Boden knows about Hermann, he knows him well, he knows what he"s capable of. About Cruz and Brett: This breakup came out the other way around but never mind, it"s better this way. Now it's obvious they are not meant for each other.Mills wont have a spot in squad, at leas not right now. I could see some tension in the future between Mills and Severide.
Finally one episode without the Casey/Dawson drama. I was surprised to see Kelly going empty handed over to April's house. Some flowers and a bottle of vine would have been nice, especially after what those people have done for him. It was nice to see Christopher and his family. I hope Mills is not leaving.
I won't comment on the Sarah storyline (I did not like it).I was afraid for Eddy's life and so was Jamie. She's been looking in the mirror all the time which was not good at all. She did ok but she's not up for undercover work yet. Let's not forget she shot someone not long ago and Jamie helped her to put that behind her. I love them together.
Finally someone who sees the chemistry between Alicia and Finn!
I disagree :)
Alicia knows that nothing good comes from the Canning/David Lee partnership. Neither Canning nor David Lee is capable of any good except going after their own interest, and they both do that trashing and destroying others, no matter who it is. Canning used his illness any time he had a chance to harm Alicia. Alicia should learn her lesson once and for all, the sooner the better. As much as I'd love John in the picture, I have a feeling that that kiss is what we get. He'll be out of the picture, probably for a job, someone's election. I'd like Finn back :) although I know some of the posters are against this relationship.
No offense Paul but that's not a smile. If it is, it is a fake one for sure. Let's remember that at the beginning when Cruz asked her out, Bret was not trilled at all. She agreed just because she dated the wrong guys before. Let's face it, it wasn't love at first site. There isn't any sparkle there. I feel bad for them because both are great but they are not meant for each other. As about Casey and Dawson, I'm sick of it. This storyline is dragged on since season 1. I had enough. There are others at 51 we don't know nothing about. Otis, Hermann and Mills are forgotten. They deserve some screen time too (regarding their personal life).

I think I have some explaining to do. It's not the religious topic that I usually have a problem with. That's ok. But here we have more. The mystery part that concerns me.This is rather a sect.
Great review Carissa! I think it was a great episode, I love this show although this religious topic is not my favorite. I'm glad Golan realized Peter is not the bad guy here. He did not want to arrest him, he just wanted to show Peter who's the boss. I can see them work well together which I can't say about Peter and his lady boss. That woman is trouble. The ambassador's involvement was a surprise to me, did not see that coming. I think Emma's journal is the key to this whole mystery. She's been killed for a reason. The professor is also hiding something.
If you like Jason Isaacs you should watch Case Histories, and The State Within
