This on and off relationship is crazy. It's obvious they can't stay away from each other. And let's be honest, Voight is not treating them fairly. He does not accept office romance but just because Burgess was shot, he makes an exception. How fair is that? It's not fair at all. The truth is that at that time Lindsay was part of that task force, Voight needed someone and he could not afford to lose Burgess, that's why he was willing to make an exception. This is not fair.
Kalinda as a mother? No way! Not in a million years! Maybe a girlfriend but I don't see much chemistry between her and Bishop.
I was expecting Halstead to fight for Lindsay, not to give up so easily.
I see two scenarios for Kalinda:1. Kalinda leaving because of Bishop. If this babysitter role for Kalinda goes on and something happens to Dylan, Kalinda is dead. 2. Kalinda leaving because of what she did for Cary. The truth has the habit of revealing itself. If the truth comes out about Kalinda forging that email log (or what it was), she has to disappear. 3. She could die of a heart attack but that's highly impossible :) This is a joke, obviously. So, what do you think?
"Mary Kate: He totally wanted to ask out Burgess. He had a little too much interest in what she eats every morning."No offense but if he wanted to ask Burgess out, he did an awful job. This is not the way to ask someone out. This is a guy she should run a mile from. I wouldn't want someone like him near me, that's for sure.
I think this was not the best episode.
After all she's been through, it's normal. They almost died.
Burgess declined intelligence because she's been shot and wanted herself and Roman to put that behind them. Now Roman got badly hurt. These two are unlucky. Now they need more time to forget things. Will Burgess ever take a step to intelligence? The thing is these two make a hell of a team. I did not like Roman at first but he started to grow on me and now I see he's a good guy and a great cop. Burgess might get a promotion this time as well. Let's see how she'd react. As much as I want to believe the guy in the diner is jut to show Burgess can change and leave her old habits behind, I can't. The guy can be a stalker and I have a feeling that he would make Burgess's life miserable.
The Pride family relationship is a tough one. I think I would've done the same thing if I were Pride. He wanted to protect his daughter while she was a child and now it's hard to tell her what her grandfather was really like. Pride must have had a really difficult childhood. It's not easy to have a father like that and a mother who's life is ruined because of that. Pride just want to protect his daughter. I hope the old man is man enough not to use his granddaughter in order to get out of prison.
I don't like chief Boden (I have a problem with Eamonn Walter) but this new chief is far more worse. He's a jerk. If he thinks he can gain control over the firehouse acting like this (humiliating people), he's wrong. Yes, I felt sorry for Otis. He's a great guy and does not deserve to be treated like this, in fact no one does. Why do I have the feeling that Casey was targeted? Pat's wife knew exactly who he is, where he works and she's with Casey just to make Pat's life miserable. I admit that at that time Boden's father was alive and no one could anticipate that Pat is going to take over 51 but still, something isn't right with that woman. Beth kissed (or tried to) Matt at the firehouse which was extremely stupid thing to do, especially after Casey told her they need to be careful because Pat could end his career. Am I the only one who thinks that Beth is trouble? The other disturbing "element" is the "new" guy Welch. He's not there to be part of the team, he's there to cause trouble and as we could see, he already told Dawson about Beth and Matt.
