I think what Alex did was unacceptable. Yes, Meredith shouldn't have messed with the results, but seriously, the only person who would've known was Meredith. The Chief put so much pressure on Meredith to get Adele into the trial, and Richard is practically Meredith's father. I think she only wanted to please him, everyone wants the approval of their parents or parental figures. Also, Izzie killed someone. She cut Denny's LVAD wire, and that is WAY worse than what Meredith did. No one died, no one was harmed by Meredith making sure Adele got the drug.
Lastly, I'm so sick of Alex. He was doing so awesome this season. He had grown up and become a decent person, and now he does this? Not only is he completely stabbing Meredith in the back, what about the hospital? In one episode Alex said the hospital could lose it's credibility as a research hospital or something like that. So if the hospital goes down, it's Alex's fault for opening his big stupid mouth and telling on Meredith just so he could get the position of Chief Resident. I hope he doesn't make Chief Resident just because he's screwed Meredith over.
Screw you, Alex Karev. You can get on a plane to Africa and never come back, that's the only kind of closure I want.
Alex can die in this finale, I'm actually okay with that. I was so happy with his character this season, he had gotten so mature and was finally acting like a decent human being, and then he goes and destroys not only Meredith's career, but the Alzheimer trial and probably the credibility of SGH hospital. I hope he gets on a plane to Africa and never ever comes back. He's not welcome.

Well, you probably can't comprehend this just yet since judging by your spelling and review in general, but that's what spouses and significant others do. They listen when their partner needs to vent, and they comfort when the time is right. Meredith was upset, maybe you couldn't tell. Derek listened because he loves her, duh. I thought it was okay, I didn't really expect much. I would've rather there wasn't any singing. A lot of them had pretty good voices. Chandra, for example. I've always loved her voice, and it's cute to see her sing, because she's sort of the mother of everyone on the show, and it's sweet that she would sing to Callie. I also liked Kevin McKidd's voice. Not in How To Save a Life, but in How We Operate, he was pretty amazing, I think. I absolutely adored Eric Dane's voice, and I'm sad that he didn't get to sing more. Finally, Justin Chambers. Whoa. Loved it. His voice was very impressive too.
Anyway, I think the singing was too distracting, I would've rather had the music in the background like usual, than to see the characters walking around and singing to each other like that. The on screen singing was just stiff, I thought. It's not a music video, I take Grey's very seriously, and this episode was just awkward for me, personally. Also, what was up with the scene where everyone was getting it on? I mean, I like it, but wrong time for sex scenes, and wrong music for sex scenes.
In the end, I broke down when Mark sang, and when he and Arizona looked at each other in the galley and then ran to the OR, that was extremely touching. And the MerDer moment in the elevator, when Meredith cries because she wants a baby and can't seem to have one. :( Oh Shonda. Screw everyone else, we need way more MerDer, they need a baby before they freaking steal one from someone.
Over all, I thought the episode was so-so, with too much singing distracting from the actual story line.
I loved this episode. It was really good. The worst part was definitely April/Stark. I hate Stark, I don't care what anyone says, he looks like he's old enough to be her father. That's wrong.
As for people who are hating on Mark: shut up, seriously. Mark is one of the most dynamic characters on the show, I absolutely LOVE him, I'm so impressed at how he's grown since he started on the show as the biggest manwhore ever. I adore him. And so does Callie, which is why they are best friends, DUH. Mark was there before Arizona, and seriously, Arizona needs to learn to shut up sometimes. She can't just come into Callie's life and tell Callie who she can and can't be friends with. I'm so annoyed at the way she treats Mark. Yes, Mark slept with Callie and got her pregnant. But that wouldn't have happened if Arizona hadn't had the world's biggest temper tantrum and left Callie alone in an airport. Arizona picked Africa over Callie, and that's the bottom line. Arizona left Callie, and that means she doesn't get to choose how Callie copes with her heartbreak. Seriously, people.
Also, we need more Meredith/Derek scenes. That's who this show is about, after all. I miss them.
I don't particularly care for George's character, but over the past few episodes, what small bits of him they've been showing have really softened my heart towards him. When he runs to Izzie at the end, I cried, it was adorable.
I used to ship Alex/Izzie, but I'm so over that crap. What kind of crappy boyfriend doesn't even notice that there's something wrong with their own girlfriend? Alex was doing so well with the whole... being a real gentleman thing, but now he's so consumed with his work, and George is the only one who noticed that Izzie isn't okay.
I totally loved the Izzie/Cristina moment, it was adorable. I love to see Cristina's sweet side, especially when she told Izzie that she had to fight.
I also appreciated the Callie/Derek moment, that was freaking adorable.
This is the classic Grey's Anatomy that I fell in love with. Season four was complete trash, but season five is reminding me why I loved the show in the first place. Season five is amazing thus far.
I would've told Cristina too if I was in Izzie's place. Izzie needs someone strong to lean on, someone who will be the rock that supports her while she goes through this. I think deep down Izzie maybe knew that in the end, Cristina would make Izzie fight. If Cristina says it, you do it, end of story.
Omg, I love Mark. He's my favorite character on the show, especially in this season because we're learning more about him and seeing that he's not just someone out for physical relationships, but that he actually has some depth to him.

Overall, I think last night's episode was pretty good. Owen Hunt is possibly the sweetest guy ever, and I love getting to see more of him. I really want Meredith and Cristina to make up though, because at times Cristina was a complete jerk to Owen, and he shouldn't have to suffer because of this stupid feud. I would really like to see Derek and Owen patch things up between the girls.
As for Mark and Lexie.. I'm not really a fan. I love love love Mark Sloan, but Lexie is just too young and naive. I just don't see that relationship working out. In the end, I would love for Callie to realize that she isn't a lesbian, she never was a lesbian, and that she loves Mark. xD Because seriously... There is so much chemistry there, and if there is never going to be a Mark/Callie, the writers need to tone down the chemistry between them. Stop getting my hopes up!! It's just not fair. That kiss between them last night was adorable. And then when she said she felt nothing... Whatever! Who could kiss that man and not feel anything? Stop lying, Callie.
Lastly, umm.. when is Sadie leaving? Seriously. I can't stand her. She's too wild for the SGH program. Even when Alex, Izzie, George, Mer and Cristina were interns, they weren't that crazy. She let a bunch of brainless interns try to take out her appendix, for crying out loud. Something is wrong with that girl. And as for Callie's "attraction" to Sadie... SHE LET SOME INEXPERIENCED INTERNS TRY REMOVE HER PERFECTLY FINE APPENDIX. Callie, Sadie is insane. How are you attracted to her? She's crazy! Stop questioning your sexuality. I think tonight just sucked. I mean, it was intense-ish and stuff, and the acting was good, like Bailey and Derek and Mark, but I just hated the interns and the Mark/Lexie and Izzie/Denny. The best part was Cristina/Owen. I'm really getting into that storyline. I didn't think I would be supportive at first, because I want Burke/Cristina, but Owen was really opening up tonight. I'm excited to see where that goes.
Also, what the heck does any of this have to do with TR? Now you guys are just making ABC & Shonda out to be homophobes. Shut up, TR is fine. They can't fire him from the show for being gay, it doesn't affect anything on the show at all. Wow, you all are petty.
I for one am glad that this whole Callica crap is over. It's not that I'm a homophobic person or whatever, but dear God, Erica has no emotion at all. She is sooo stiff, Callica situations were just awkward and painful to watch. I sat there and cringed trhough every one of them. Sure, they're new at the whole lesbian thing but omg, they're like.. Ew. I've never really liked Erica at all on Grey's. She comes in as the new Burke & automatically assumes the role of God. Everyone knows that the role of God can only be filled by Preston Burke or Miranda Bailey, definitely NOT Erica Hahn. She has always been horrible to Cristina, and Cristina is one of my favorite characters so obviously that does not sit well with me.
Hahn is just not a people person, and to be at SGH, you need to be a people person at least to some degree. If Callie really was a lesbian, which she isn't, Mallie ftw, she could do so so so much better than Hahn. I don't even see what all they have in common, if anything.
So yes, it's a horrible way to let an actor go, and I do feel bad for Brooke Smith, because I'm sure she's a good woman, but I just hate the character she had to portray.
And now I can be happy again, because my hopes for Mark/Callie have been restored. =D =D =D So thank you, ABC.
Omg, I was so pleased with this episode overall. As much as I don't care about Izzie/Alex, I was really shipping them tonight, simply because of the sparks flying between them & then after their closing scene. I was just waiting for him to grab her & kiss her and when he did, everything was just perfect. xD
And the Mark/Callie scenes.. Nothing is better than those. I hate Callica, so that bit with Mark & Callie was just like old times again, no Erica involved. I have been waiting for any Mallie scenes and finally I got a little, yet amazing one. xD
On another note, I'm getting tired of George. I'm just tired of him being such a pushover. And him being so oblivious to Lexie, that's just annoying and I don't even care for George/Lexie. He's just an idiot, and I was happy for Lexie when she stood up to him.
I'm so glad Owen is back, but I knew once Cristina was looking for a guy, I just figured that Owen would show up at the very end. Because Cristina needs someone. Meredith has Derek, and now Cristina has Owen. ....This show compensates the lack romance in my life. xD
I absolutely hate the idea of Mark with Lexie. Their personalities are so incredibly different and Lexie & George are both young and they get along well and George is all understanding and has other swoon-worthy characteristics, apparently (although I don't see them myself) George/Lexie is likely to have a better relationship, I think.
I know that Gizzie fans could vote for Lexie/Mark simply because George is meant for Izzie and whatever, but really.... Mark has turned the corner this season. He's this mentor to everyone now in a way. I love where his character is going, and honestly I don't see anyone good enough for Mark Sloan currently at Seattle Grace. I would love to get a serious Mark/Callie relationship, but everyone seems pretty set on Callica, so whatever. I just want Mark. And I don't want Mark with anyone. Especially not Lexie Grey. Mark is waaaaaay too good for her.
Last season Lexie drove me out of my mind. I hated her. This season she's.. okay. I tolerate her, and sometimes I even like her a little. But really.. If there is ever any Mark/Lexie relationship, I will lose faith in this show. I'll possibly end up going to therapy, it would be that traumatic.
Bottom line, Mark > Lexie.

This episode was amazing. I was somewhat disappointed by the premiere, but tonight made up for it. I was so outraged when Shonda let us think that Meredith was going to break up with Derek again, but thank God Derek is the most perfect man alive, lol. They are so perfect together, but all this drama... It's going to give me an ulcer, and I would bet money that if I went to the hospital with that ulcer, there would be no gorgeous doctors there to take care of me.

I was so outraged when Shonda let us think that Meredith was going to break up with Derek again, but thank God Derek is the most perfect man alive, lol. They are so perfect together, but all this drama... It's going to give me an ulcer, and I would bet money that if I went to the hospital with that ulcer, there would be no gorgeous doctors there to take care of me.
Richard is seriously bothering me. Honestly. Loosen up a bit, stop being such a jerk.
And as shocked as I am to hear myself say it, I'm ready for some Alex/Izzie romance again. He was so adorable when he was talking to the patient but totally referring to Izzie.. I want some of that romance too, along with more Mer/Der. Stop teasing us, Shonda!
