We know the wedding won't go off without a hitch, because the police will put in an unwelcome appearance. However, the promo pictures suggest they'll be too late to stop the wedding.
If Nate and Sage are right, and GG was Serena's "guardian angel" in the first two seasons, then GG has to be Dan, Eric, or at a stretch Jenny (or Nate himself, but in that case the scene is pointless).
I hope Jack and Georgina aren't hooking up because I like Phillip (remember him?). Who would have thought Georgina would be the first to be married and a parent(although not in that order)?
One of my favorite moments (it's hard to choose just one) was in 'Hi, Society' when Chuck watches Nate and Blair kissing and then disappearing into the hotel room, not before Nate gives Chuck a wink. Granted it's not a happy moment, but it is a defining one. GG said it best "Spotted: Chuck Bass losing something no one knew he had to begin with ... his heart."
@Zoran, @Drea XOXO, Carol's one time lover in the flashback was a different van der Woodsen, Keith not William. They must be brothers, because at one time there was a spoiler about Keith appearing, and he was described as Serena and Eric's uncle. Apparently plans were changed, though.
5. I hope Dan's final chapter isn't about himself, because that's a subject that doesn't interest me. Maybe (I'm grasping at straws here) his reference to Serena's "daddy issues" is a hint that he knows who Serena's father is (not William vdW).
6. Chuck, I think, will do something dangerous, but he'll do it deliberately; that's what he means by going to war. Still, it's possible that he's already made a huge mistake.
@Z: You could be wrong that Serena calling Steven proves Dan right. We don't know what she wanted to say to Steven.
@Zoran, if Dan spins the story of what happened in the season 1 flashback to make Serena Nate's victim, he will make an enormous mistake, because Serena herself will protest that this is a false picture.
My guess is that the target is William van der Woodsen, who will be revealed as being behind much of the bad stuff that's happening. I've thought for some time that he isn't Serena's real father.
I don't know what's going to happen, but what I'm sure of is that show's makers meant for the wedding scenes to get out. So I'm not worried about being spoiled.
Like TVF168, I suspect that Steven already knew who Serena is; he didn't seem very surprised. Besides, either Steven or Sage, or both, must have known; otherwise it's a fantastic coincidence that Sage is getting acquainted with Nate at the exact same time.
My favorite quote: "And I'm the weird one?" (Georgina).
In the pilot, when Nate talked about ending up like their parents, he didn't yet know how bad ending up like his own parents would be.
Of course the characters don't need to be paired up romantically by the end of the season; they still have plenty of time for that. But when Chuck said (also in the pilot) "Happiness does not seem to be on the menu", I hope he's wrong.
I liked Dan and Blair, but the way they ended, however sad, makes sense considering their characters. There's a reason why Dan is Lonely Boy, and it isn't just about money.
A defining moment: "Spotted: Chuck Bass losing something no one knew he had to begin with - his heart."
Eric's moment of pure awesomeness in "All About My Brother" ("Go ahead and do it").
Blair's (sort of) striptease. Maybe, as Gossip Girl said, you can't keep a bad girl down, but who knew Blair could be bad so bravely?
Serena and Blair making up at the end of "Poison Ivy".
Serena and Blair again, in their impromptu photoshoot at the end of "Bad News Blair".
And again, when Serena persuades Blair not to fly off to Europe in "A Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate".
Blair telling Chuck and Nate "I need your help. We need your help".
Many more.
Perhaps Poppy Lifton; we know she'll be back this season. I have high hopes that Carol will be out of jail by the beginning of the season, but there's no reason to expect her to appear. I hope it's not Ivy.
