Whoops! Sorry about the mistake with Survivor: Micronesia.
@Troyano - you mean aside from Kim, right? She's been phenomenal, she's just had no competition. Besides Kim, I agree, the cast is weak.
@Justin - isn't a chicken and the egg scenario? If Troyzan doesn't tell Jay that he's playing the idol and/or Jay doesn't run to Kim with that information, the votes would have gone to Troyzan. That's what Kim told us. Once she knows or suspects Troyzan's playing the idol, it makes sense to switch the majority to Jay. Now, yes, the REALLY bold move is to guess that they're going to change their votes and hang on to the idol, but Troyzan had no reason to suspect Jay would run to Kim with that information.
@CeS - Agreed. It certainly seems like some important parts were left out to add to the drama. Disappointing because I'm sure they could have kept them in and edited it to the point where we were potentially even more confused. @blingerz - What's interesting about the analogy is neither won in their first two seasons. It took Heroes vs. Villains to get Parvati a title and even then she needed Russell to take a lot of the blows in front of her. Does this mean neither Kim nor Chelsea will win? Of course, Kim and Chelsea are playing a far different game than Parvati and Amanda.
@purplegossipgirlbass72 - I'm not going to lie, it got a little dusty in the TVF offices during that part.
@Ces - Thanks! Great point about Brandon. We've gone WAY too long without a Brandon blowup. Maybe he was right in getting rid of Mikayla. For his game, anyway. He's seemed calmed since then.
@Brad - whoops! Sorry for the typo. @Nathan - thanks for having my back there!
@youngman - I understand the point you're making, but did Ozzy really sacrifice himself for Cochrane or for his tribe? His plan was designed to give Savaii six at the merge, not prevent Cochrane for being eliminated. I don't think Cochrane owes Ozzy nearly as much. @mp - Cochrane is seventh spot for now, but do you see Upolu staying strong the entire way? I don't, not with Brandon around. @Kayla27 - You're right, of course. I wrestled with whether to write it as weeks vs. days. I figured weeks was easier for readers to get my point vs. actual elapsed time. @symph2001 - I couldn't agree more. Ozzy and Jim should be coming to Cochrane now to try and save their own souls, not the other way around. Despite making a good move, in the end I'm not sure Cochrane can get out of his own way no matter what he does.
Good point about Stacey's rants vs. Brandon. I too would much rather listen to Stacey. Even if I can't understand her sometimes.
Thanks, Anthony, I couldn't quite figure that out for some reason. Amazing how that works in today's world.
