  1. Lost Review: "The Candidate"

What a phenomenal episode last night. One of my favorites.
  2. Survivor Review: Sandra Makes Her Move

@Nadine - Ha, definitely a great moment. We'll cover this in the Round Table coming shortly.
  3. Lost Round Table: "The Last Recruit"

@ME - Definitely saw the irony. So often Fake Locke has been right about whatever assertion he makes, but perhaps he's wrong about the island not having a purpose for people? Based on Jack's actions, I'm guessing he doesn't buy what Fake Locke said about John Locke being stupid enough to think that the island had a purpose for him. Clearly Jack thinks the island has a purpose for him and he probably feels that it is to stop Fake Locke.
  4. Lost Round Table: "The Last Recruit"

@Picazo She certainly was better earlier in the series, but has become increasingly harder to watch as the show has gone along. She seems so whiny more recently. I liked her better as the brash outlaw that she portrayed earlier in the show.
  5. Survivor Review: Dumbest Survivor Ever!

@Miki - True, but Russell at least knew the circumstances and consequences of his action. JT didn't KNOW either. He assumed the circumstances and the consequences.
  6. Survivor Review: Dumbest Survivor Ever!

@QueenBeee - It really is amazing. I know these players are not familiar with Russell Hantz, but come on! 1) He's a Villain and 2) this is Survivor! One thing Jeff loves to say is "never assume anything."
  7. Justified Review: "The Lord of War and Thunder"

@John B - Interesting theory about Arlo and Bo coming to some sort of crossroads down the line, I like it.

It should be fun to have the Crowder's return to a more prominent role in the series. I really liked Boyd in the premiere and I hope he's able to be written in somehow (remember, he'll be in jail once he heals). I'd like to see Dewey Crowe back, too. He was fun as the comedic klutz criminal against Boyd's calculated persona.
  8. The Amazing Race Review: "Dumb Did Us In"

@Javier - I couldn't agree more. To me, her combativeness about her Miss Teen USA pageant screw up only proves how unintelligent she is. Certainly her actions on the show have only reinforced that belief.
  9. The Amazing Race Review: "Dumb Did Us In"

@Finn - I certainly agree that, in terms of removing the best team, Jet and Cord are the favorites and if that is your sole motivation for using the U-turn (as it likely should be) it should have been them. Certainly Brent and Caite's decision to U-Turn Carol and Brandi was motivated a good amount by spite.

However, I'd argue that if Carol and Brandi were not as much of a threat to win as Jet and Cord, they were real close. They were definitely strong players this season.

What I like to see most out of the racers are those that seem to enjoy racing together. I'm not particularly sure why, but that's why Jet and Cord and Dan and Jordan are my favorites right now. With Carol and Brandi, the annoying spats they had bothered me. It's certainly not specific to them - Brent and Caite have been as annoying with the same issue - or this season - we've seen these types of couple arguments in past seasons as well.

Sounds like you suspect that the producers of TAR edited the show in such a fashion to play up Carol and Brandi as the bad guys and Brent and Caite as really disliking them because it made for more interesting television. Definitely a possibility and I can certainly see your skepticism there. I hope you're wrong because I agree that such an edit would be disheartening.
  10. The Amazing Race Review: "Dumb Did Us In"

@Finn - I agree with your point about Carol and Brandi seemingly receiving unfair treatment about their remarks about Caite when Jordan and others did so as well. However, based on what we've seen of them, how can anyone say they've been fun to watch? It's not just Brent and Caite that do not like them - no one seems to like them, even Dan and Jordan.

What are you basing Jet and Cord being homophobic on? Their one interaction with Carol and Brandi when the two asked Jet and Cord how they passed the other teams way back in the third episode? All Jet and Cord said was that they did not get a warm feeling from the pair. Isn't that what everyone has said about them? Also, if they were homophobic, wouldn't we also have heard comments about Jordan? As far as I remember, not a single negative thing has been said about Jordan.
  11. Justified Review: "Long in the Tooth"

@Cody - Yea, that was a little iffy to me too. But, I can buy it because the process of sneaking through a border is certainly a shady, mob-type exercise, so it's not all that surprising to me that they were able to get to the people sneaking Roland across. It definitely could have been explained more, but there's only so many loose ends the show can tie up in every hour.

As for Pike not really being a villain, that's certainly true. I even called him a pseudo-villain at some point. That's what made him more interesting than the villains we've been given in the two prior episodes. He had more depth as a character that way. Ruck did a great job with him too.
  12. Survivor Review: Russell Wins! Well, For Now Anyway

@DH - I agree, it's definitely possible that we could have a repeat of last season with Russell. However, don't forget that Russell's playing with a former Survivor winner in Parvati and a runner-up in Danielle. They won't lay down like Ashley did last season.

Also, JT has already been supremely manipulative with the Heroes, I could see him challenging Russell when/if the tribes merge.
  13. Lost Review: "The Package"

@D-rok: Interesting side note to your point about Jin and Sun not being married - in traditional Korean marriages the woman does not take the man's last name. Perhaps the "Kwon" on the wall refers to Jin?
  14. Lost Round Table: "The Package"

Interesting theory, L. We did see Jin's reflection in the steel freezer, but Jin did not see it. Significant?
  15. Lost Review: "The Package"

Sorry for the typos, guys! Corrections have been made.

Don't worry, Picazo, no offense taken. ;-)
