The paper Morgan found was "the map" Abe left for Rick showing them how he was going to get to DC so they could follow him. It says "Rick Grimes" on it too, so now Morgan knows Rick is still alive.

Please...someone just kill Gabriel - his character is just a pointless waste of time. I don't get why Beth stabbed Dawn in the shoulder when she could have gone for her throat. Cause then Dawn couldn't kill her back? I felt FAR worse for Daryl than I did for Beth or even "oh yeah, she's my sister right?" Maggie.I am liking the "screw me or my gang once, no second chances" Rick Grimes as evidenced by the first scene. I thought the episode was kind of dragged till everything happened in the last five minutes. Not my favorite mid-season finale by far.
Saw Talking Dead. Maybe Bob will be on. He hasn't been on since he died a few episodes ago. But I think Emily Kenney who plays Beth. And midseason finale, someone, probably more than one, will die. Cast pretty big these days.
I agree with the reviewer, I like Carol WAY better than I used to. Beth as well. But Fr. Gabriel needs to die AND SOON. Tired of his whining and crying. He "escapes" with no plan, no supplies, no weapon-please someone eat him! I also didn't like the contrived "Sasha so grief stricken over her boyfriend of 10 minutes, Bob, that she does something really stupid to advance the plot.." part. Looking forward to next week, my money's on Beth dying, I think Carol makes it out.
They HAVE been focusing on his hand ALOT, I wondered about that too. Is it infected? I'm assuming it's not bit as he would have turned by now. And no great loss if Eugene has turned.
I thought that they didn't kill Horik's daughters. I rewound the scene a few times, all the boys were dead, but the girls in the room were alive. Then Bjorn comes in & tells the girls in the room to split & they run out. I was glad that Lagertha didn't have to deal with that. Sadly, they do have to kill the older boy, or they'll all have a target on their backs forever.SO GLAD Floki was working on his Viking Oscar for Best Performance& not turning on Ragnar. I didn't get why he wanted to name his daughter something Helga thought was evil. Thanks for a great season of reviews Henry. Love how you ask questions & reply to comments. If the Walking Dead reviewer retires, grab that gig, my other favorite show.
Even "bad" Floki is my favorite character, so I would hate it if they kill him off. I too think he's a double agent. He turned on Ragnar so fast and so completely and with what seems little reason. Henry, you do a great job with your reviews and I really like how you ask questions and then reply to the comments you get.
I agree, he's such an interesting character. The guy who plays him does an amazing job.I'm sad that this season he's gone from being Ragnar's "Daryl Dixon in eyeliner" (loyal funny sidekick we all love & better not see killed) to being a whiny, jealous unique dude. His gesture toward Aelle I caught & it made me laugh.
I was surprised when the Earl was Lagertha. I loved how smug she looked though, since she is now Ragnar's equal in rank. She's a great character. Athelstan's chanting did not surprise me. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, if he wants to stay alive in that world. So he "loves the one he's with" like the old song says. The Floki/Ragnar feud bothers me. And why didn't Ragnar confront Floki, his lifelong pal, on WHY he wasn't invited to his wedding? Instead he stays home and gets drunk with his new pal Blondie-grr. I think Floki indicated to Helga that he was mad cause Ragnar was a bit "too big for his britches" now that he was an Earl. The boys need to talk.Ragnar telling Bjorn to "think with his other head" was really hypocritcal, considering how Ragnar broke up his own marriage to Lagertha. I just wish Bjorn had called him on it.Ragnar's not been very likeable lately.
I gotta say I was TOTALLY surprised when Rag's double crossed Borg.Princess BabyMama continues to be annoying, but I think she is written that way. Clearly Rag's likes her, every time he looks at her she gets pregnant. And she's given him a good start on his many sons.As for Lagertha's husband, I agree with Henry,it should have been Lag's who killed him. But I also think that the show wanted to emphasize that the "people" didn't like her husband any more than she did. She thought the sword guy was gonna kill her, which was pretty suspenseful, till he showed her his loyalty by killing her abusive husband. As for "I'm not a Whore" Siggy, what other way does she have to regain any power but to use her body to get a powerful guy. She's not a shield maiden like Lags is.I too wish Athelstan would come back to Ragnar's camp. Course he's safer in England cause (my favorite character) Floki is pretty jealous of his friendship with Ragnar. And Floki can be pretty brutal, that whole "being a Viking" thing... Bjorn's got a girlfriend, be interesting to see how his relationship with a slave girl goes.
