The CW make it blatantly obvious that Chuck is in Paris, so why don't they just say "Chuck mysteriously appears" instead of "when a friend from home mysteriously appears." Either they think we are stupid or he isn't the friend.
What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote last night?
"All I did was love you" heartbreaking but the delivery was sot on.
2. Was Chuck's decision out of character?
I agree with DANdy. Yes and no, with the full-of-heart Chuck we've seen recently its easy to say yes, but DANdy was right when Chuck is insecure he turns into an a**hole.
3. Will Chair survive?
Yes, it won't be easy for them to come back together, Chuck really needs to work and explain it. But at the end of the day they do love each other warts and all. I don't have an issue with how long before they get together, it could be the season finale or it could be season 4, I just want it to feel as if Chuck has made up for it.
The JS spoiler did take away a little from their finale scene, it probably would have been better if it was released after the episode, but at the same time it was comforting for a Chair fan to know this wasn't it.
4. Do you like Jenny?
This changes weekly. While I have never loved her, there are some moments I appreciate her character. Then there are others when I just want to toss her off the Brooklyn Bridge.
5. Cutest supporting character: Eric or Dorota?
I agree they are laying it on thick with Dorota so I would have to go with Eric, he is awesome. But please get a hair cut.
Couple of things:
Loving the Nate and Blair friendship
Chuck's ignorance and denial over what he did is infuriating but at the same time sad and sweet... he truely believed that they could get through anything.
Also, I don't hate Chuck I just hate what he did but I do feel it can be forgiven with some explaining and plenty of grovelling. One thing I look forward to is how everything is going to happen. For the first time all year I am so eager to see the next episodes and what happens.
What Chuck did was horrible, but I think with a lot of work he can redeem himself. He seems to genuinly believe in the love that he and Blair share and when she tells him she will stand by him through anything, she will. I think the gravity of everything started to hit him at the end and you could see that IMO.
I thought this episode was okay. Some other parts; Serena - What are you thinking, Dan and Blair - funny and I would love to see a friendship develop between the two (friendship nothing more), nice seeing Chucck acting brotherly towards Jenny (once again nothing more please), and finally more Chuck and Chair they are always the best, at least IMO.
My two cents on the episode:
I loved it (although I am missing 5 minutes of it since I watch it on the internet... I'm from another country). Everything seemed fine to me and all of the characters I enjoyed with the exception of Serena at the end but oh well can't win them all. Also I'm starting to love hating Jenny.
Jessica looks gorgeous in that photo, Ed not so much. I think its funny that when it comes to GG I don't like Vanessa but I love Chuck; but irl I like Jessica and don't like Ed.
On a side note I think Leighton has the possibility of a long term career, and I'm basing this on the fact that in Australia she is getting a lot of attention for her other career choices and her fashion. In particular many people seem really excited for the Thelma and Louise remake (just not the title).
I loved this episode. I will also agree that Blair using Chuck was wrong (but I still loved it in a twisted way) and silly, but I think that was the whole point. Listening to what Lily said to her she pointed that out to Blair. Next episode should be interesting in regards to Chuck and Blair.
I love Chair and to be honest I don't find them boring, I love them together. As for Blair regressing to high school, I'm looking forward to this as I can sympathise to a degree. My high school to college transition didn't go as smoothly as hoped so I went back to everything that was familiar in high school - this being for me friends that really weren't friends and a boyfriend who wasn't attentative. Not smart but I still could control these situations but not what was happening in the real world which I should have been focusing on.

Not smart but I still could control it.
I agree with everyone on what they have said. Chair have always been on/off its just this time we have the added bonus of them being together officially. It sounds good with the added hot.
Just a short bit. I loved this episode, and I agree with most of what people have said before. I will add my bit on these things though Nate and Bree seemed unnecessary, Vanessa irritated me and usually I can just ignore her, and I loved (in a really sad way) the shot of Blair turning to look at the party and then walking down the stairs by herself. Finally, the last Chuck and Blair scene was just so real, intimate and tender; there might not have been much of them but I can deal with that when we have a scene like this.
I agree with blaircorneliabass, what was missing from Chuck and Blair was their banter. Don't get me wrong I loved the sweet in love thing they had in this episode as I felt it showed that they are in love, but as many people have said we haven't seen them like that before so it was unusually to see them like that. I do believe they will start to combine this new sweet Chair with the old banter/sexy Chair soon especially by ep 3 when they go up against each other at the auction.
I like new Dan, not to sure about his though, probably am still getting used to it.
Vanessa served to demonstrate what happens when people don't comb their hair. Nate I can't really say, I didn't pay attention to him. Serena sounds as if she has an interesting storyline plus loving Carter, if only he was on it more. Chair, I agree with everything Kimmie said about them; they were more sweet then sexy but I loved finally seeing that side of them when they're together. I can't wait to see more of them in a relationship. Go Chair!
One final view, as for people thinking the Chair chemistry is off, I didn't think it was instead I thought it had changed - in a good way. The first two seasons the chemistry was based on a love/hate relationship; now they are officially an in-love couple who are comfortable and honest with one another. The wall that they put up to protect themselves from each other is now gone. The chemistry reflects this and shows how they have grown. I do believe we will get some typical great Chair moments though.
I really liked it! I agree it was choppy but they are setting up new storylines for this season so I can take that. To be honest I liked the Dan/Blair interaction but I couldn't see any foreshadowing of Dair (it sort of reminded me when they were planning against Georgie is Season 1) if anything I think it was setting up a sometimes friendship for them. Chair I loved seeing them be so sweet and honest with each other. Them hot and steamy is always great but it is just so different seeing them actually be together an sweet. I know I needed to see some sweet/cute time from just so it didn't seem so all-about-sex.
Trust was always going to be an issue for them. I just hope the writers have them work it out together. If they do, it will be a great storyline and will show their comittment to the relationship.
I love all the photos from this shoot. Anyone else think the photo with the white background looks like it should belong on Chuck's desk at Bass Industries?
To me, because he is making a bigger deal about what Chuck says I'm thinking it is either the funniest line ever or the most romantic line ever. I'll take either.
