Don't mess with "The Callie". She'll f' you up!!! Reminds me of my ex girlfriend...
Liked this episode. No matter how many times Jim accuses the wrong person, he just moves onto the next (or back to the previous), doggedly following whatever new evidence he is fed. That's his best attribute b/c it makes for some great dialogue.
Not too silly. In fact it was toned down from last week. This episode pales in comparison to the "psych" episode that featured roller derby, but that's just because nobody compares to Maggie Larson in any scenario.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this season of "The Glades" thus far.
(cont'd) that Stahma is the major player behind the scenes. If Datak becomes mayor it will be Stahma who pulls the strings.
I knew Datak would try to smear Amanda somehow. I like the unique way it was written, combining Amanda's hiring of Nolan and then using Nolan's quote to try and discredit them both. Using the 'race card' is prevalent in today's politics, why not in the future too?
Man, I'd hate to be Alak right now. He has a ruthless, perhaps sadistic, father, pulling him one way, and a determined, possibly homicidal father-in-law pulling him another. He should leave town with his wife and never look back.
So far Stahma's veneer of calm has been unshakeable. Even Kenya's threats had no visible effect. I still wonder if Kenya reveals the extent of their unique relationship, if Datak would even care. Then again, you never know. Especially if it comes to a question of honor. Their race is kinda prickly on that subject. Datak might blow a gasket.
I'd like to know why Irissa is so special. I'm trying, and failing, to recall if her flashbacks featured any Indogens.
@General: I agree that Stahma is the major player behind the scenes player here. If Datak becomes mayor, she will be the puppet master, pulling the strings.
Totally agree the scenes with Pope and Tom didn't fit in. I've been Pope's least-biggest fan since season one. I just don't like the character (just want to clarify it's the character and not the actor I dislike). I wish they would either write him off the show or write him differently somehow. I mean he's been with the same people for over 2 years now. Either he learns to get along with people or they exile him. Resolve it somehow, please. And another thing, every time Tom and Pope take a step ahead in their relationship, they take two steps back. Enough!
I wish we were given at least a small glimpse of what was going on with Cochise.
I see tragedy in "Baby bear's future".
Mariana? I hadn't even considered her as the mole. After reading the review and comments, it seems more likely, but still doubtful.
In the last two episodes TK has been a scene stealer. In season one I didn't like the character a whole lot. In season two he began to grow on me. Now I love TK! I hope he doesn't get duped into a raw deal.
Alona Tai??? Is that the actor's name?
I'm still having trouble seeing Stahma as H.G. from Warehouse 13, Stacie Monroe from Hustle, and Lila from Dexter. It's a credit to the actor that she can appear so differently from one series to the next. Did I mention how sexy she is as Stahma?
Kind of a bittersweet moment with Burke. I believe his sacrifice was only partially for his teammates. The passionate way he stressed the necessity of taking Sonja, makes it seem like she may have meant something to him personally or that whether he lived or died, getting Sonja will still have an impact on some aspect of his personal life or at least on the life of someone close to him.
I thought it was a little too obvious who the culprit was going to be, but I didn't care. Catching the bad guy is never the highlight of this show for me. It's the interaction between characters throughout each episode that keeps me watching.
I got lost a bit in the switched identity part of the ep. Then again I was more focused on the zombie virus outbreak side of the story. I guess that could mean there was a little too much going on in this ep. A little silliness doesn't bother me at all. The fact that I was amused by this review is proof of that. LOL! As long as it's not overdone, I don't think it'll take away from the quality of the show.
