You do realize that what you think are commercials are actually part of the show?
So far the reviewers I've seen are torn with the show being PLL which should have died three season's ago or the ones who wanted them to meld all the movies together and chop them up into 42 minute-long segments. So I don't know what to think. On the other hand maybe MTV is moving away from pregnant teenage girls who make massively poor life decisions.
The review was really good some things missed and points.1. After stiles brought up the "bad seed" theory Malia remarked "Like Peter and the Desert Wolf".2. The lovely scene between Mogan and Liam where Liam tries to distract Morgan with the thought of shirtless soccer players.3. The last scene where Morgan realizes that Liam is a werewolf.4. Thank you for realizing that the doctors are a twist on Frankenstein - the scientist and not the monster.5. I think Jeff Davis said they would be the Big Bad spilling over into the next season. I also think that the geneticist creates the parts, the surgeon puts them together, and the pathologist figures out what went wrong.
From what the actress said in a Teen Wolf interview the entire 5th season is a flashback to the Eichen House scenes.
I am stiLL so happy that we don't really have a clue as to whether Drill is extraterrestrial, from an alternate reality, or somewhere in time. I love the tattoos and the mystery that is Sean. I think the volcano is more real than you know and not a science fair project. The kids are a delightful mixture of innocence and devious.
This was much better than I anticipated and having Merlin as one of the protagonists doesn't hurt. I almost didn't recognize Odi with his clothes on a far cry from GOT.

Sorry but a woman has an absolute right not to notify the father at all if ever unless she wants support.
I agree with the review that things were very fluid in these opening episodes. It is very clear that "melanie" wasn't Melanie but what she is is still to be determined. I don't think that there was a "timeline" involved but rather an artificial reality being manipulated by "melanie" and her surrogates. Now that the bubble has burst they are all starting from a totally unknown world - but the old reality appears to be coming thru the lake to the previously "domed" town. At least they have opened up the whole season for new developments and resolutions of old phantoms.
Quell surprise considering the total success of Netflix's series like Daredevil. But kudos to NBC who kept us Grimmed up on Friday nights and already has it in syndication.
But a lot of the other shows are either repeated on another day or available on VOD. You can also watch episodes on the ABC Family website.
