Dexter Review: Brotherly Love

for all the fans including the reviewer.. the set up plot is not a "Debra/Dexter relationship" It is clearly about Louis, his strange fascination with serial killers and his obvious obsession with Dexter. we had to watch the next 2 eps right? Clue 1 was in ep 11, with him packaging the hand to Dexter. Clue 2, I assume will be revealed at some point in the finale. As far as the Debra thing goes.. I think its all an ellaborate ruse to get DEbra to start paying closer attention to how her brother reacts and all his disappearing. The therapist is at fault for her "realizing" those emotions.. you spill your guts to someone and they take what you say and twist it, and then you suddenly look at it differently because you trust the person you are speaking to. I honestly don't see Debra admitting her feelings for Dexter to him either. I did overall enjoy this episode, the prob is that Season 4 was just sooo good, its hard to top that. They tried really hard, bringing in a veteran actor like Olmos in attempt to fill the shoes of the Amazing Lithgow, only it just can't be done. Look at season 3, which i found by far to be the most annoying season, completely lacking, with the exception of the whole "pregnancy". I still find myself wanting to see more.. and I still really enjoy the episodes.. Im excited to see how they take down travis... what if anything is revealed about dexter..because lets face it, questions will arise as to why Dexter was chosen and depicted as "The Beast". Also i want to see if Batista's sister makes it out of this season alive.. she'd be a casualty tht i'm not ready for, i actually like her.. but she's new and therefore expendable..we will see

Dexter Review: The Trail of Travis

i got a completely different vibe from the therapy sessions.. not that deb is going to figure her brother out but that the therapist is playin head games and getting deb to think she has feelings for her step brother... i could be wrong but i feel that its going there, not just from last sundays episode, the past few. I think louis is going to figure dexter out... and its going to lead into next seasons storyline... still love watching it, but it hasnt' been as good since season 4... and how could it, that season set the bar so high its hard to surpass

Ringer Review: What's the Point?

I actually had to catch up with the last 3 eps today, i dvr'd them, and i'm stll confused. I honestly thought Gemma was dead.. I knew Charlie had her 3 eps ago, but you only see her in his basement the last ep.. or was it also in the one before that.. lol they all blended for me since i watched them all together.. Siobhan clearly has some insider info about the murder Bridget witnessed..otherwise how was it that she had Charlie/John higher a cop to help her escape to new york?... I dont think Gemma is dead... they told Andrew they found Charlie's body, not Gemma's as well... and Bridget didn't look so shooken up about her "bf" being killed at the end. Something tells me Siobhan hid Gemma away somewhere... but i could be wrong ...i do like this show and i'm left with many questions..but imdisappointed in Juliet, i don't think he raped her, i think she got rejected and reverted back to her malicious ways as payback, but we will see

I enjoyed last nights episode and i really wasn't bothered by the flashback.. I knew right away it was Katherine with Matt at the party... and yes they didn't tell how she came back but clearly she didn't die from being fed on.. and she's older and stronger then stefan so she prob just came back with Michael... how else was he to know where the salvatore brothers would be that night. My biggest issue is the 3 coffins at the end of the episode... we know one is elijah, and rebekuh is dead somewhere in the salvatore home.. who are the other two coffins ...there was no mention of them in the flashback scene of the original family.. obviously the mother isn't one of them because she was a witch and therefore couldnt become a vamp..so it annoys me that they keep showing two family members but refuse to let us in on the secret... and for crying out loud bring elijah back... I'm not upset Michael died..if it came down to it.. i'd rather him die then Klaus.. i know Klaus is evil but i just want him to stick around.. and to be honest other than the compulsion thing with stefan.. Klaus isnt' really doing anything too bad... i don't know.. the rebekuh thing saddened me a bit, because for the first time i was actually starting to like her and you know now if that dagger ever gets pulled out.. she is not going to be so forgiving.. for the new year i want elena and damon to stop tiptoeing around their feelings for eachother.. and i want elijah back

overall i did like the episode..yes random lol but they they are ghosts they can appear disappear lol.. my big issue was where was tyler.. and where was rebekuh or however you spell it.. you know she's in town, so she couldnt just be sitting under a rock.. they shouldve showed her taking tyler out of town or something in the beginning so it wouldnt make it so strange... 3 major points in this ep... jeremy learns he needs to let go...elena learns she cna't keep doing this forever... and mason helped them uncover a chapter into the lives of the originals.. lol everything else was overkill but i will say i enjoyed seeing my long lost faves.. and cmon anna finding her mom at the end.. that warmed my heart

I enjoyed this episode.. it wasn't as intense as last weeks episode, but im glad i kind of needed a break. Really enjoying heartless stefan, I think paul is more in his element playing the bad boy.. its not charming like ian, its creepy and shocking and funny... Elena is being more independent and she is getting stronger.. both in body and mind. I like that I want her to be her own person. I think bonnie has to cool it with the jealousy a little bit, while i understand it she has to remember he didn't ask for this to happen, and he can't help it ifhe still harbors feelings for anna, she was taken from him, the feelings are there whether he sees her or not.. the touchy feeling thing is wierd tho, i was surprised when they touched.. but then at the end when mason kicked damon across the room i was like okay.. im thing that since the balance is all messed up with the hybrids being able to survive, the supernatural world is in chaos.. maybe thats why matt was able to see vicky, and other ghosts are crossing over.. damon seeing mason, makes sense, damon is technically dead so him seeing the dead.. not too much of a leap there. What i want to know.. is katherine alive?? when is elijah coming back?? and when will klaus return for more blood. its only been one ep but while klaus is the villian, he's not hard on the eyes, and he's so exciting

i was on the edge of my seat the whole time.... i dont really get how now matt can see vicki since he wasn't brought back to life with magic.. but hey its a show about vampires so if you think about it, you can go anywhere you want. My favorite line was when stefan walked in at the end and damon goes "hello brother" which is the exact way he greeted him in episode 1 the first season.. only it was opposite roles.. fantastic..i enjoy this creepy bloodthirsty stefan but he can't stay that way... damon was still likeable when he was "bad" but stefan is straight up evil.. its just insane... the thing i didn't get was Katherine Met michael before.. in the flashback to the 1920's i thought she knew about it already, and I WANT ELIJAH BACK...

btw pretty sure Steve was killed in book three.. it never stated it, but it was indicated, i think this is a good way to goo.. lol making him what he hated most

with all due respect to a lot of fans, the show is following the basic storyline of the book, which was about witches.. but the show made it far more exciting, my biggest issue this season was the intense amount of storylines..but i understand the need for character development beyond Sookie/Eric/Bill. the entire point of ths finale was to shock you.. the season practically ended in episode 11 with Marnie being taken out.. yet she took over lafayette, not suprisingly jesus figured it out in the first 5 mins of the show. The first 20 mins technically resolved season 4's issues with the witches once and for all. Then you get a sense of calm and then last 15 mins all hell breaks loose. I understand it may have been disappointing to many but i personally found this episode amazing.. I knew russell would be back, question was when.. and now we know the most insane bloodthirsty is out and going to cause hell. i literally jumped off my couch when tara was shot.. im in shock.. but overall i think alan ball delivered.. witch crisis? solved... now we just have to wait till next june to see what craziness awaits us :)

I really enjoyed this weeks episode.. knew something more had to happen once it seemed all "suddenly resolved". My only thing is, Marnie was only strong because she had antonia... she was not that strong on her own, so I dont understand how she can be all that strong now that she's taken over Lafayette, unless they make that whole halloween play apart and give her the strength she needs to take out her revenge (again this is just a hunch)..and i totally agree that that was the worst cgi fire lol infact it shouldve burned sookie a bit more, she shouldve needed to heal after being stuck in the circle of fire for a few mins
