I'm giving this season and E for Effort. There was effort to turn it around in the first few eps and then that idiot woman Julie Plec did her 'magic' and ruined the show. Hopefully it picks up pace next year and superceeds season 3.
I did like this episode, it really showed us why this is such an amazing ensemble cast. Everyone shared the spotlight and it was truly one of the best mid season finales. I wish Neve Campbell could move to Seattle with her children because it was just so amazing to have her there.
Mer was a little selfish tho, I mean I get that she didn't have a normal family but Lexie would have done anything for her and that is the bottom line. Maybe if Shonda gave more attention to Mer and Lexie as sisters then it would have been easier for Mer to understand Lizzie. I'm happy that Mer showed Lizzie the ultrasound. I hope Shonda allows the baby to be born.
Spindae and Gibbles... Matt is not wrong. It is just so confusing and ridiculous. We know that Elena has feelings for Damon and Stefan. At the end of season 3 she chose Stefan because that is who she thought she met first and who she wanted. I cheered when that happened because she finally made a decision and I was all gung ho about that. But then Julie and her merry band of writers went to go and screw that up with this whole Sire bond thing. It leaves the writer scratching their heads, she chose Stefan but she does have feelings for Damon, that was established but then all of a sudden she is in love with Damon and her feelings for Stefan are receeding. Its just a very contrived way of keeping the triangle active for another 3 seasons. Its idiotic. What would have been better is if they forgot this sire bond crap and wrote it so that Elena realizes that Damon was the first Salvatore she saw and is drawn to him.
I'm not at all suprised at how idiotic the show has turned. It's a bloody mess created by that idiot woman 'writer' Julie Plec. She needs to be fired and must give the reigns to someone more capable than her. She has written herself into a the worst plots ever. It did not make sense at all how Tyler wanted to get rid off Klaus.
Stefan was also stupid for thinking that Klaus would keep the sword in the safe after he saw it. Ridiculous.
You blithering idiots... He is just a guest star, not like they are promoting him to main attraction. Jeez. Eric Dane was NOT let go because of budget issues. That was Tim Daly over on private practice. Tim is established in the tv industry and ABC couldn't afford him so they had to let him go. The guest actors and such don't get paid what the main people are paid.
Grey's still rakes in ALOT of cash for ABC so they can afford everyone plus get new people to GUEST star.
Uhm Andrew Marlowe really has a fascination with Reality TV... This will be interesting and I think a much better episode than the Hillary Burton one where she was really fake and Justin Hartley looked idiotic.
Twas a good episode but I felt that they are doing a disservice to Moira's character. In the premiere she was made to be this cold calculating woman who clearly was up to no good but then they tried to gain sympathy by making her out to be this woman who had to what was necessary for her family. Its a bit of a cop out. I would have been impressed if she was more involved in this master plan to re shape Starling City. That would have made more sense for me.
I also just hope they don't go the original spider man movie route where when Oliver kills The Dark Archer, Tommy witnesses it and then goes all dark to avenge his father. That would be just the worst!!!
1. The whole episode was amazing. I just didn't enjoy Stephen Collins as the news anchor. It was weird. It would have been better to use Kimberley Mitchell.
2. It is a red herring. No way Huck is the actual shooter. The promo already alluded to the fact that what happened isn't what we think it is. Huck tells Olivia he is a trained shooter, a trained shooter would not shoot so many times and still miss the kill shot. This was done by someone with an agenda to get Fitz out of office for a little while.
3. It seems he was there to clean it up rather than be the actual shooter.
4. Once Olivia knows what is going on, she will be able to formulate a plan. She won't let this go because two people she really cares about are in serious danger.
5. James and Cyrus have bigger fish to fry than worry about a baby at this point. So this is a rather dumb question. A better question would be for people to posit theories of what James would do with the info he uncovered now that Fitz was shot.
I also agree with DeAnn. Yes the episode was slow but this episode epitomised sheldon and his state of mind. He is a calm, careful slow to act or react kinda guy and when he does its all va va voom.
He knew in his gut that Nick had Sarah but because of the lack or proof and his general nature he didn't act like Violet, Pete or Even Cooper would have. They would rush to judgement and do more harm than good. Its been done before. I was never a Sheldon fan but I really liked this episode. This ep and Jakes ep are by far my favorites if only for the guest stars. Dainne Faar and Marisol Nichols. Perfect casting. It was great insight into Sheldon but nothing I didn't already surmise.
I kinda hope that Violet and Sheldon end up together. Maybe she will do something useful and help him out of his depression when Diane's character dies...
Yet again, Grey's and Scandal were snubbed when the actors have done their best! Claire Danes will win for the worst role she has ever played. A pathetic whiny idiot who couldn't see she was and is being played. Mark my words she ends up in the loony bin in the finale. Homeland is just boring and so anti islamic. I hate the show.
Seriously TVFanatic! You people are limiting people more and more now!!! Stop it! Let us have our say.
4. I believe that bond exists but Charlotte and Elena both have feelings for Damon and that was heightened with Vampirism.
5. I think that Damon will try but with Elena nothing is simple and she will probably be still tied to him in some way. The way I see it Elena won't make a choice, in the series finale the decision will be made when one of the brothers makes the ultimate sacrifice and saves Elena and his brother which will bring them together happily ever after.
6. Did not miss Jeremy that hunter freak. Matt was mildly missed.
1. 11. It was very hot and sexy. Not raunchy or porny. Just amazing. Ian and Nina have amazing chemistry!!! Love them together.
2. Caroline was extremely whiny. She did cross the line. Even if Elena is sired to Damon, Caroline knows that Elena had feelings for Damon and feelings don't just go away. Damon was the first of the two Salvatores and Elena told him in the season 3 finale that had she met him first she would have chose him over Stefan. And that came to pass. Caroline was all high and mighty but she is starting to care and maybe have feelings for Klaus so she should just shut up and let Elena live.
3. Professor Shady has to be Silas or someone that wants this Silas character alive. Killing humans and channeling that power will no doubt be strong but channeling the power of 12 hybrids seems to be a bit stronger.
4. The sire bond exists, obviously but like Nandi and Tyler have said the feelings for that person are heightened. Elena and Charlotte both loved Damon and thus they are equally more attached to him.
5. I think he will try to, but with Elena it won't be that simple and she will still be in his life even if she goes back to Stefan. The way I see it, who Elena ends up will only be decided in the series finale and one of the two will die so the other two can be saved and be together.
6. Did not miss Jeremy but Matt grew on me, even though he shouldn't have any personal stake in these people's lives he does want to be there.
ROFLMAO... Seriously this was the most melodramatic episode in its recent history. I guess the only way to get rid off Bart Bass was to kill him (again) but now it leads to how they will get Chuck out of the mess he is in. They can definitely not push it off as a suicide so there isn't much else to go on.
I can see how Dan and Serena will end up together, that puff piece he wrote will get her to fall in love with him yet again. Yawn. I will give Dan props for doing what he did. I don't think it was planned, I think he changed his mind after Serena saw in the loft with Bart when they agreed on the puff pieces.
I'm only going to watch the finale to see who the heck is Gossip Girl.
Yes please end this show already! I LOVED it when it started but now I just sit there and watch EVEN more ridiculous shenanigans and over acting that is just RIDICULOUS in a very unfunny way. They just need to unmask the Mother and give us at least 2-3 episodes with her and then end it. BANG!!!!!!!!!
That two eps with Joe Managaniello was torture. Absolute torture. He cannot act to save his life. His 'good' looks will only get him so far.
1. The scene at the End with Neve coming in. I think of all Derek's sisters Lizzy is the one Derek wanted the least to be there because she's prob a know it all shrink.
2. The baby case was the most interesting and heart wrenching of all The parents we're just weird.
3. Charles Ross. He is irritating but funny and clearly the most willing to learn and be a good surgeon.
4. Both stephanie and leah must just be fired. But also Tina Majorino's character has basically been a lackey and personal assitant and hasn't shown any medical skills.
5. Yes she will. It will be a long road and hopefully we'll get a Derek centric episode at some point that focuses on his return to surgery.
Seeing as Mistresses first season has already been shot, Ben will be available to be in seattle in the meanwhile so I'm sure Bailey will get her wedding. I know she deserves it after being married to Tucker.
Shonda will NOT kill Ben. She only killed Lexie, George and Mark because they wanted out and were unlikely to return to Grey's at any point.
William Daniels' character was very old and he was the catapult to get Christina back to Seattle as she had reached her peak.
I think the episode will end with Derek going into surgery. Or the aftermath to see if it worked.
I liked this episode. It was very good. I like Jo, Heather and Ross. Not a fan of Leah and Stephanie. They were really immature and idiotic. It wasn't like the original five, they never killed anybody because of competition.
Was disappointed that Neve didn't get enough screen time this ep. I really want more of a shepperd reunion.
April will shine soon, she has to. I do like her sometimes. But I don't understand how she is an attending if she didn't pass her boards.
Thanks Miranda for using my question! Made my day!
I like the idea of Edison, just not sold on the actor playing him. I hope that Edison doesn't fade away, Olivia needs him.
The question that I also wanted to ask.
As it stands, will Olivia ever trust Edison to let him know stuff? Please use this question if you or one of the other writers Interview Kerry or Shonda. Thanks!
1. I liked the scene where Edison goes to Olivia. She was so beautiful and it was at that moment she seemed to have gotten over Fitz when she said she is all in. It was very shortlived as all her feelings must have come back now that he has been shot.
2. 9 out 10. He is a good leader, he's not too proud but he needs to believe in himself more.
3. I feel that it will be a moot point in light of the shooting. Yes its big but the president being shot at is huge. Somehow Cyrus will find out and he will turn to Olivia for help because he will be afraid of what Hollis could do.
4. No, She does like Edison but she also loves Fitz. I see it as the Addie-Derek-Mer. Where Edison is Addison. She loves him but she loves Fitz too.
5. My bet it's Charlie who did the shooting but still not sure who ordered it. Hollis is the obvious guess but Shonda doesn't go for obvious so it has to be either Reston, Langston or someone from their past that we will see in the ep with an axe to grind.
