I never trusted James but man. I am so mad right now and I don't want to have to wait until the fall to find out what happens. I honestly kept waiting for the blimp to get shot down or something but I'm glad it didn't. I wasn't much of a Sara fan at first but after tonight I really wish she was staying.
Nora needs a swift kick in the butt or something. Why she would trust Liam who scares her over Josh's faith in Aidan I will never understand. Where is her sudden hate for vampires coming from? Our house is full of death? Uh, it's Aidan and Josh's house. Why would Aidan have any reason to kill Erin other than self-defense. He's been alive for over 200 years, struggling with urges and desires every second. Nora only has to be shut up in a storage container one night a month. She has no idea what Aidan has to deal with. Josh, well I knew he would be turned into a wolf again but was not expecting it to be Liam who did it. And poor Sally, eating raw meat. I wish Nick would have told her straight up he was decaying too. For a moment I wondered where Zoe was and where Nora was at the end but remembered they work at a hospital with shift work.
Well, obviously Neal went to Neverland before the real world, but I hope he isn't Peter Pan and is one of the lost boys instead. I can't see Neal as Peter. He's crafty, but he's just not Peter. Plus, how does he go from being Baelfire to Peter? I would love for them to bring in Disney's Spieling Peter to play Peter Pan. I really wanted Snow to stab Cora with the dagger but I'm not surprised she gave the dagger up; it's who she is. And I knew Johanna wouldn't be sticking around, mostly because she's on Downton Abbey and this was just a guest spot. While I love them bringing in new characters and parts of the story, I really wish they would revist some of their past ones. I know Sidney Glass is gone because he's on Revolution now, but some meniton of his character would be nice. What about Ashley/Cinderella? Or Aurora and Mulan back in fairytale world?
After 8 seasons people seem to forget what happened early in the series. A lot of the things people nitpick about have been explained, mentioned, or used to be every day occurances. Sam was always the smart one. He did the research while Dean...ate pie. I was a little surprised they took the people to the batcave at first but really it was the safest place. And they've burned bodies before, it's easier then trying to explain it. Prometheus wasn't a god jrwt, he was a titan. Why shouldn't he recieve a hunter's funeral? The hunters got it from the funeral pyres of the Vikings, Romans, and other religions. It's not something specific to hunters.
Agree with all you said. Nora lately...I really can't stand her. Why would Aidan lie about hurting Erin? As Josh pointed out, she liked him the best. Josh and Nora both are well aware of Liam's tricky ways, why would she dismiss the idea so fast? I wasn't expecting him to kill Erin but I agree, I really hope they determine her true cause of death because I won't be able to take Nora blaming yet another thing on Aidan. How much Aidan violence has she really been exposed to? I don't recall all that much. You would think non-humans would stick together but they definitely don't on Being Human.
As for Sally, maybe I watch too much Supernatural but my immediate thought when the witch said she claimed her soul when she died was how long will Sally actually get to live? I suspected her of speeding up the process and tonight's episode seemed to go along those lines.
@Summer I would asume the reason for a recast is simply Stan is a busy guy. Filming for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier (and he's Winter Soldier) begins soon if it hasn't already and Marvel kees its actors busy. Josh Dallas couldn't reprise his role in Thor because of his commitment to OUAT. It sems to be nearly impossible for actors to do a tv series and still act in films. Aidan Turner from the UK version of Being Human had to quit that show to be in The Hobbit.
Just no. It's too early for a spin off and how can they do it without the actor who portrays the character? The character is as popular as he is because of Sebastian Stan. Would they had enough material to carry on a show based soley on the Mad Hatter?
Catherine doesn't bug me as much as Lori did, but I don't like how they just keep shoving her into episodes and plotlines when she really has no reason to be there. We haven't seen her to her job all season, she just joins up with 5-0 or pops up randomly. I have no issue with McGarrett picking Danny over her; they got their tickets first and Catherine's were last minute. The football stuff was fine for me, although they seem to heavily advertise things that only take up a few minutes of the actual episode. LOVED that McGarrett is a Redskins fan, although his choice of Tom Brady as the top quarterback is questionable. I'm actually kind of glad McGarrett got hurt chasing down the Train frontman. He always does those crazy stunts and then just walks away. Danny at the end was adorable. Oh and the people who complain Danny whines too much...umm are you new to the show? Season 1 was filled with Danny whinning about everything. The sun, the sand, the lack of people wearing ties, etc.
I completely agree with Wednesday. I liked Nora when she first started seeing Josh but now I can't stand her. I don't like the way she treats Aidan at all and i am not liking the preview for next week.
I just now got to watch the episode since it is finally on Hulu. I agree, this episode was a little underwhelming and we definitely need more Adam Copeland.
Emma killed it on "Getting Married Today." I loved the actor who plays Brody on Terra Nova but I really don't see the appeal of Brody other than his looks. Finn was great and it was nice seeing him pursue her again. I was wondering if they would bring the Ryder/Marley thing back up. I'm okay with Jake and Marley, although I'm not a big Jake fan. I've watched the performance of last week's "This is the New Year" a few times and love the little Ryder/Tina moment in it. Tina has had a big personality change, and while that can be contributed to her new confidence thanks to Glee club, I'm ready for her to back down a bit. Her, Blaine, and Kurt were adorable.
Sherlock testing Joan was great. He was genuinely worried for her safety and showed it in his way. LOVED when she knocked his locks over and his face afterward. She definitely challenges him and doesn't just give in to all of his whims.
I'm glad they didn't kill Dawson's brother. I was really afraid they were going to. Kelly with the baby (does the kid have a name yet?) is adorable, but I'm still not loving Clarice/Shay. Did they seriously think Daniel wouldn't want to be in his child's life, that they could just shut him out? And as for Casey's mom...he asked a perfectly reasonable question and she freaked out on him. I'm glad he told her to find somewhere else to live. She may have killed her husband to protect Casey, but it wasn't self-defense. And what about her daughter? She doesn't seem to even care about her.
No mention of Gina Torres? Ignoring the fact that she and Nathan Fillion reunited 10 years after Firefly, she still deserves a mention for her wonderful turn as Penelope. She is great at playing strong women like Zoe on Firefly, Jessica on Suits, and Penelope on this episode of Castle. I didn't need a Firefly joke or gag but a little more interaction between the two of them would have been great.
This episode....while interesting was kind of eh. I don't blame Booth for getting upset at the beginning of the episode. Brennan has come a long way but she still has a way of shooting down people's ideas/plans/wants based solely on scientific evidence.
My roommate and I though Gold was more freaked out about the loss of his magic than everything else. Just like Regina it's his crutch. He can't use it and it freaks him out. He's in a strange world now, not Henry and Emma. Henry was adorab;e with his cinnabuns. I've never been the biggest Rumple/Belle fan but I really hope Ethan Embry's character (Greg?) doesn't corrupt her. And I'm kind of glad Jack got what was coming to her. Girl needed to cover up and bit more.
Dreamrose, I agree about the accent! There's just something about a Scottish accent. But I did spend quite a few minutes trying to place the actor who played Rhys. IMDB to the rescue, he was Jonathan in The Mummy and he was in Sliding Doors.
The ending scene was definitely the high light of the episode for me. Sherlock certainly has grown a lot. I don't think he is too overly attached to Watson like one commenter suggested, he could most certainly do the job on his own, but he is definitely better with her.
I have to disagree, I always look forward to seeing what is going on with Scarlett and Gunnar. I'm glad they'regettibg mixed into the main plot. I loved the kiss between Rayna and Deacon! And finally Teddy asked for a divorce.
Oh and I agree with what you said about the bubblegum music, but can we amend that to teenagers and girls in their early 20's?
I agree with what most are saying about the lack of Castle. The show has become very Beckett focused and Castle is just sort of there sometimes. He usually has some sort of insight into the case but that hasn't really been so lately. And I miss his poker games with his fellow writers! Those were some of the best scenes. I did miss Alexis and Martha but agree it was better of them not to force the two into the episode where they didn't really belong. Plus they did still mention Alexis so that was good. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who loved seeing the return of the Writer vest!
No mention of Aidan and Sally at the bar? Their short dance together was adorable and I was glad to see the two of them spend some time together. Sally wasn't able to properly interact with them for so long that it's nice to see her out and about with the boys again. I'm glad she talked some sense into Aidan. I din't really like Erin at first but Aidan calling her Teen Wolf and the small interaction she had with the group was great. I hope she comes back. And I'm really not surprised Brynn is dead, partly because she has disappeared but also because the actress is on Revolution now.
Loved this episode. I saw Danny's gun control speech as him just being Danny. He has a tendency to go off on rants and I feel this was just another one. His interaction with Steve was definitely the best part of the episode. Season 3 for me is much improved over season 2. Lori just messed with the formula too much and I think episodes like this show that. Kono, while not in the forefront of the episode, got the shot which, had Lori been there, most likely would have gone to her for some unknown reason.
Completely agree with all you said, although it seems Daisy was finally getting a little attention from Jimmy this episode. She also mentioned William for the first time in a while. Carson was aggrivating me as well with his firm stance. I loved that Mrs. Hughes and all of the women ignored his and Robert's demands.
