Was I the only one stunned by the quality of this episode? What a change of pace, dynamic and storytelling!!! Just amazing, it started very slow but I started to enjoy it as soon as Conde tried to abduct Mary. Really well crafted episode. Bash overpowering Kenna's new beau was great, was I the only one expecting a threesome at any point? If not with Red head beau, than with crazy forest chick ?Back to the topic, I completely agree that Mary is playing Conde and that was my first thought when she even appeared at his tent. I adore when Catherine is diabolic, she playing against Narcisse was just brilliant. Overall I really liked the writing and choice of words. Next week should be funny. Hoping for viewers to return.
1. Reverse Roles?- Hook is probably number 1 on my list, as he is neither good or bad. - But this whole story reminds me like the Charmed alternate universe episode. U really can't escape from who U are as Cole and Phoebe couldn't escape their faith I see characters reverse to their old patterns as no book can change someones core. 2. Lily and Maleficent - I wouldn't mind some for them to stick around if they'll have some purpose, but as said there are to many characters fighting for a solid story and they played their part in setting up those finale 2 hours of the season. 3. Zelena and motherhood!- I think a hilarious spin off comedy could be made out of this. I hope Rebecca gets regular status next year and we see so much more of her. She is so tremendous as th WW and I just want to see what happens. She drew a nice parallel between Regina and Cora, but what will she do when she has her own child with a men who doesn't love her. Should be interesting.4. Regina's happy ending.I think a big part of Regina evolving and growing as a character is realizing that nothing can be perfect in live. I think she realized the issue and embraced what she got. 5. What I didn't like`?Hmmm nothing really! It was a good episode. What I maybe missed is Zelena meeting Cora? I can't believe that didn't happen earlier! Hope we get that in S05.6. Favorite sceneThe mother daughter scene between Male and Lily. It had everything. 2nd The finale scene between Zelena, Regina and Cora.
Honestly I loved it. The show stayed truth to the characters and I cherish that. One thing I was quite surprised is that I liked Cornell at the end. She was so obnoxious early on but at this point she killed it, I adore her. I also liked that the show tried to sent a message with Abby's state of mind and that killers are getting younger every year and that we should do more about it.The killer reveal being predictable was a bit of a throw of but as said the show stayed truth to the characters and I think it payed off in a really compelling way.
Totally and it's a shame cause they have that simple chemistry that just works so well on screen. I like Bash with Kenna and him sharing to many scenes with Mary would probably be odd, but they should've found a way to balance it out. At the end I really didn't expect Bash to appear in the episode not to mention he shared a scene with Mary.
It was a solid episode. Finally the Conde story is coming to an end. The show pretty much derailed after a quite strong midseason. All the stories were overlapping and it was a bit to much.Claude and Leith both have to go next season. They are just filling up empty space. Mary is so . . . ! I could understand her backing up Conde until next week, but since he married Elizabeth she should've turned on him. I understand he is an emotional touch stone but really this is pushing it to far. I liked the scene between Bash and Mary, they understand each other on a simple way, where she isn't a Queen. I'm glad Greer chose herself and her stability. This show was about women embracing their strength and we finally got it. Kenna and Rosemound are hot together but Benna is way better.
1. Olicity sex! I'm a fan of their chemistry and the writing for them is so terrible this season. I just can't! Than this episode happened and they come back with such a strong and beautifully written scene, it felt quite organic to me. Felicity realizing that she will most certainly lose him was the trigger for her to go there and I found it really moving.2. Team Arrow? As we would say in Serbia, there is no winter for them! They have Nyssa a really strong replacement, who is way hotter if U ask me. It's a lot like post mid-season but also totally different. They need to take charge of their life, they have to learn to trust themselves more and move out of Oliver's shadow. 3. Maseo/SarabHe is becoming so bland to me. I loved Dig stepping up in their scene but I can't see Maseo survive past the season. His motivations and everything around is so vague, I got to the point where I really don't care.4. Lazarus Pit and Thea?I think Thea will start having episodes with loosing her identity and stuff. I'm just glad she was breathing so this won't be a way to bring Sara back.5. S03 Finale!I expect the situation between Oliver and Ra's to escalate and resolve. At the end of the Season Oliver has to be happy with who he is and not with who everyone expects him to be. I hope for some Lance and him redeem himself and Oliver's son and his mother to sneak into Starling in those finale moments.
Lovely review. One possibility for this cure problem is if Damon drains all the blood of a cured Elena he could be turned human as well. Katherine died by aging rapidly, it wasn't really specified if she died cause Silas drained her blood or of old age. With Elena she would just had to follow up 2-3 years and nothing would change. Steroline and Enzo and Lily were all amazing together. Even Matt had a couple of scenes and felt useful.
U gave the episode a "high rating" but I'm not really sure U liked it. I missed something, it certainly was a good episode but left me somehow flat in some departments. It certainly will be interesting to see where show goes from here and how they intend to wrap up this story in 3 episodes. Felicity's speech and Ra's motivating it to her action was nicely done. A bunch of people argue that Felicity should've died for challenging Ra's but he is to smart for that. He knew it wouldn't be productive, Oliver would turn his back on him again. Fel's speech was just really beautiful. I'm just glad Thea wasn't completely dead, so the Pit can't be used on Sara (at least I hope they won't try). The consequences are just in the air, I don't believe they will happen until I see it.Diggle and Maseo were really strong last night and hope more of them.
Seems like I watched different show as I really didn't felt for Raylicity appearing. Really wasn't the place and time for it to happen. Eddie was fine this week. Really enjoyed his struggle while Iris was so annoying. But I better stop, don't want to see winter coming to the RT again.Cisco having flashbacks? That was quite weird as he really didn't live through those moments. I hope there is a good explanation, cause for now there are just a plot device to make Cisco doubt Wells.Brie was underwhelming, as she has a much bigger role in the comics. But not really surprised she got this type of poor focus looking at the treatment SS and Birds of prey got.Favorite scene? The closing scene! We need the story to move one and no fillers.
Nice catch with Opal city as the possible location of the spinoff. I found the episode better than that bunch from The Return to Public Enemy.Lance being the enemy now, would be much more believable and enjoyable if he wasn't that big of an Arrow supporter earlier. Paul is killing the angry act but it just feels forced at the moment. Interested to see what they have in store for him till the season ends.
