Spindae 2o

I Lol-ed hard when I saw the title on my Twitter feed. "Can someone check on Roy?" hilarious. I think this is just the response the writers wanted from this audience. Make fun about it, have something to talk about and had a couple of big laughs reading viewers comments.
Would I change anything ?
Merlyn's story or better said Oliver's attitude towards Merlyn's moves. I liked his master plan of Oliver taking out Ra's and using Thea for it, but since mid-season it isn't working for me. Not working at all. I'm a bit glad Sara is dead, it gave Laurel the well deserved focus she got and Laurel is currently killing it. This part of S03 is really full girl power, cause F, L and T are doing some amazing scenes.
Dyla wedding?
I hoped for a bit more but they owned it as Carla said, it was so truth to their characters.
Argus and SS?
I think this story is so over. But I'm truly glad the show gave Deadshot such an amazing story to bow out. Enjoyed the flashbacks and his moments with Dig. The only thing I don't get is how was he shooting people in the building he was standing on? The writers should've thought this better through.
The Triangle?
I found it interesting, Even though I'm not an Ray fan, he finally was introduced into the real story. Loved Oliver being so grounded about it, good stuff. I just hope Ray and Felicity could break up soon, they don't fit well in my mind and I'm not a furious Olicity shipper.

Think at moments cause of her positive attitude we all often underestimate the horror Snow went through while growing up with Regina, her parents dead and under a constant torment.
I think it was beautifully played out and Snow's fears and knowledge about the dark magic around her were to strong than to believe in her own light and the light of the people around her.
The only thing bugging me is how Ursula and Cruella didn't age in our world for 30 years.

I agree with you the SS story was bit underwhelming and they probably really wanted to cut ties with Arrow cause of the upcoming movie(s).
I'm not really a fan of this douchy Oliver. He is super strong, smart and everything but that doesn't mean every decision he makes is the right one. The face off with Felicity still felt right and good.
The Arrow vs the Suit wasn't that entertaining. I hoped for Ollie to kick a bit more as*.
I adored Laurel in that room with Ray and it is good to see at least one of them to have a real job.

I overall agree with your review. Even though it was a solid episode but after all this time it still felt underwhelming, they could've at least give us the face. But season 6A should be interesting I hope things will fall in place and they aren't pulling things as they go.

I really enjoyed the episode, it had a different feel to it and wasn't that pushy.
Nyssa seeking out Laurel was so moving. She had nothing but the memory of the woman she loved. Nyssa wouldn't be pissed at Ra's if she had Sara but now she has just the memory of her ans her sister who knows just the right side of Sara.
Lance is pushing it a bit to far with Laurel. Especially considering she is a recovering addict. Not very good parenting. I get him being angry even at the Arrow but come on. The only good thing about this is Paul B is getting more screen time.
Felicity was quite charming this week around. She had something different to her. I liked how they played this new Felicity, assured in her dominance and her position in the world. She is a strong woman mentally and a force to be reckoned with.
Can't wait to see what Ra's will unleash on SC and how can this story conclude without Ra's or Oliver dying?

I wouldn't agree with all your negativity towards the cure storyline. In S04 thr cure wasn't even the dilemma the boring hunt for it and stretching the story out to much were the issue. The cure brought up some interesting question for the characters and gave them a lot of acceptance of who the become.
Of course someone will get cure and my guess is either Stefan or Damon but lets see. Probably Kai will try to act some revenge on Bonnie cure Damon and than kill human Damon.
I also thought Stefan was faking it to keep an eye on Caroline but Stefan would never kill an innocent just to proove something for Caroline.

No he won't cause Katherine started aging rapidly after Silas drained all her blood. Before that she was just a spoiled girl being a B.

U've killed this review on so many levels Carissa!!!! I love every single tidbit of it. The approach you took and how you analized Oliver's character while including this weeks events, tremendous.
I just see Oliver much more broken and understand that it is probably hard for him to always be that optimistic. He does the best he can all the time but was never able to protect the people he loves. He let Thea go, without checking on her, Moira died cause of his actions, Sara died cause he didn't watch Thea enough, he feels the weight of the world on his back and no matter what he does he can't cure the city, the world around him.
I didn't like that Raylicity had to have sex so it could be a plot device to push Oliver in either direction. No matter what Oliver had in mind that one day he and Fel could maybe be a thing and she being with the tall, handsome, eartshaking rich guy isn't helping that. Cause at the end he just wants her to be happy.

Loved the RT, reminded me about all the stuff I loved about the episode.
Steroline name? Hotter(and more badas*) Dru and Spike.
Do I like Caroline 2.0? I adore her. She should've snapped Stefan's neck and run away to NoLa for a week or two.
Bonnie vs Kai? I hope he gets crashed very soon.
Ripper Mom will be interesting to watch. Especially if Humanity less Stefan sticks around.

Even though this Margaux vs Emily is a bit silly, I like how persistent she is. There were a couple of enjoyable twists this week, hope they pick up the pace a bit and we get some more action.
