U've killed this review on so many levels Carissa!!!! I love every single tidbit of it. The approach you took and how you analized Oliver's character while including this weeks events, tremendous. I just see Oliver much more broken and understand that it is probably hard for him to always be that optimistic. He does the best he can all the time but was never able to protect the people he loves. He let Thea go, without checking on her, Moira died cause of his actions, Sara died cause he didn't watch Thea enough, he feels the weight of the world on his back and no matter what he does he can't cure the city, the world around him. I didn't like that Raylicity had to have sex so it could be a plot device to push Oliver in either direction. No matter what Oliver had in mind that one day he and Fel could maybe be a thing and she being with the tall, handsome, eartshaking rich guy isn't helping that. Cause at the end he just wants her to be happy.

Loved the RT, reminded me about all the stuff I loved about the episode.Steroline name? Hotter(and more badas*) Dru and Spike.Do I like Caroline 2.0? I adore her. She should've snapped Stefan's neck and run away to NoLa for a week or two. Bonnie vs Kai? I hope he gets crashed very soon. Ripper Mom will be interesting to watch. Especially if Humanity less Stefan sticks around.
Even though this Margaux vs Emily is a bit silly, I like how persistent she is. There were a couple of enjoyable twists this week, hope they pick up the pace a bit and we get some more action.
We have to agree to disagree. I don't see the things like you. Lexa lost so much and go into war when she can avoid it? Why? Why put all your peoples lives in danger when you can all go safe and sound home? If the MM want another war on the ground, the Grounders will have the upper hand, cause they know the ground. And the MM aren't about conquering the world they just want to enjoy the outside. Again they are highly out numbered with only about 300 people in house. If you look at stuff like you than every choice made is about shocking the viewers. Remember that under that strategic woman is just a scared girl who was forced into this position.
A greaaaaaat episode! Just wow, a great our of TV. Why fidn't they air this as a 2hour season finale????? I'll go and sleep through the week. Was I the only one who was hearing the "Ain't no Mountain high enough" tune when Clarke stood in front of the huge door?
I think you miss the fact that the MM had more missles and that was surely one more negotiating point. Don't you think Lexa is sick of thr war? Or her people dying and suffering?I understand your point and your anger but Lexa made the choice she had to for her people. For their future. It's ugly but that is war.
Lovely RT. Quite the explosive episode.- Thea. I adore her, the writers really turned the leaf with her. This is also a parallel between Oliver and Thea. Oliver throughout his evolution had to be a secret a lie and he turned into one. He is avoiding everything in his life. Thea on the other hand always was up front and had to be that way to be noticed and appreciated. - Raylicity! I understand them going there, but the moment just seems to convenient. Oliver will most likely find about it and that will push him into the Leagues arms.- New Ra's? I mean no freaking way. Oliver will most likely switch sides for a couple of eps, say 19-22 but that won't last. The offer overall fits the theme of Identity the writers promised at the begging of the season. I hope there is an overall plan to this storytelling.- Nyssa! I like her. Her upfront attitude is always a delight. I'm quite intrigued to see how she will cop with the offer. I also hope we will get much more from her and Laurel, their interaction was great.-Malcolm! No freaking clue! I was happy when he was announced s03 regular but they certainly missed to make his story interesting. Maybe he forms an alliance with Nyssa to stop this transition. Would be a neat pairing!
Just like last week I don't know if I loved the ep or not. Thea killed it she was emotional, real and truthful. Her and Roy's scenes are so much better now when they aren't together.Laurel is getting also better each week. She has evolved from where she was first coming, and I enjoyed the overall aspect that Malcolm's death won't heal their wounds. The Raylicity sex, shouldn't have happened. It felt a bit forced even though both of them needed to release tension. Think the sex will just be a reason more to push Oliver to the League.I know it should feel like the story has peaked but I don't feel it. Hoping for the resolution to be better.
I think Kai wants to gather enough power to create a prison world for his coven. It was a great heartbreaking episode. Can't wait for the show to return.
I don't know how I really feel about this episode. It had some fine brother-sister bonding and Thea grew so much, I just adore her. It seems like she is doing her own thing in the next episode and I love it. In a bunch of loose ends, the flashbacks are certainly the weakest part of the season. I liked to see drunken Quentin and look forward to have him stick around much more. he needs more screen time cause he was amazing these last 2 weeks. Hoping he gets a scene or two with Felicity's mom. Back in summer I was so happy that JB joined the cast as a series regular, but now I hope he gets lost ASAP. Somehow this whole, semi redemption-training with Oliver seems so stupid can't even describe it. Slade was quite underwhelming, his Shado rant was boring but he nailed that last line. The thing is Slade was a part of Oliver's evolution and his first trainer and he saw how much he changed from that initial play boy and how much soul he lost along the way. Hoped he would be used much better.
