That laugh after Cheryl's "secretly gay for Lucas Troy" comment is seriously the reason why I came back to comment here months after this episode aired. Love how much of a nutcase she's becoming. Can't wait to see the level of crazy they take her and Kreiger in season five.
Michael may have done some damage when it comes to George Michael.
After watching this for the third time, I just noticed Evil Shirley's "mudslide" callback to Mixology Certification. Don't know why I'm so excited about that. Immediately paused Hulu on my phone a few mins ago after seeing that to go talk about it online lol. This is the third site I've made aomment about it on. Really needing the hell pout tonight. Eh... Can't wait for next season.
A good wrap-up if this is truly the end. You know, that's actually the second time I've had to type that exact sentence about Community. First time was last year obvi. The darkest timeline thing never got old with me, so I thought it was a great way for them to go out.
Maybe that means good news for Community after all? Quite frankly after an overall disappointing fourth season, I'm not too sure I want to witness a fifth one. Ok, who am I fooling? I could probably force myself to watch a few more seasons. You would think NBC would appreciate all the money I spend on Community merch all up in the NBC store anyway (still waiting on a Delta Cubes tee).
PS: Professor Cornwalis' line about updating his suicide note was spot on
Miss the old Community but this'll have to do. Especially now that Archer's done for another year. Not a bad episode though and the end tag was perfect. Good to see Evil Jeff and Evil Annie again. The Dean Seemed a little off.
All of the one-liners in this episode are instant classics. Troy's comment about Prof. Duncan being MIA had me rolling. Also the Dean's secret being cut off. One issue with the review though... Giving some kind of credit to the Inspector Spacetime episode was just uncalled for. Smh, horrible. I do understand that post-Harmon Community is an entirely different entity all together, so I'm slowly getting used to the change and learning to like it. At the end of he day though, even Community at it's worst is always going to be better than TBBT.
Was ok. Actually better than ok. Loved Troy's picture text of his mustache/Let's chips hijinks. Also the Dean's saying a large percentage of Greendale students sort of "gave up" in the 90's had me rolling. Goes right along with the "Welcome to Greendale. You're Already Accepted" slogan. The past three episodes have been pretty decent. Expecting big things from the puppet episode btw.
Loved it. This episode airing this close (puts index finger and thumb one centimeter apart and squints) from the real life pope drama going down is kind of creepy. Is Adam Reed seeing Cheryl/Carol's gypsy woman or something? Think I'm gonna have to start going to her as well. Speaking of Cheryl, loved her "Jesus/Shit" moment as well as her questioning Cyril on something "unspeakable" happening to his "slender, hairless, adolescent body". Had me rolling. Also Kreiger already having mechanical hands for Lana and the look on her face after seeing them.
