This week it wasn't Dr. Kane reporting to the burn unit ("to treat a patient that's been burned?"). Ray mos def gave us what we needed in that department (ma'am). Nice shout out to two of the best bottle episodes I've ever seen by the way. Community and Breaking Bad definitely deserve their props on that one. The dialogue was superb. My tv could have blacked out and I would have given this ep 5 stars off of the dialogue alone. And given that she may be my favorite... Cheryl/Carol came with it in this one, for sure. Something about when she screams the way she does reminds me of how much of a nutcase Judy Greer's character was on Arrested Development, and one of the first things I did after I watched this episode Archer was to YouTube Kitty Sanchez moments. They could have not picked a more perfect person to play Ms. Tunt.
That whole part had me dying. Probably my favorite part of the episode. Out of many great parts of an insanely decent episode that is.
Pam and Cheryl sneaking on the plane was a nice callback to them sneaking on everything from every season. But yes, originally the blim... rigid airship. Of course with me always craving more Krieger, I was satisfied. He DID get ripped since the last time we saw him without his shirt on. I think it may as been as recent as this season (when he was trying to wipe his computer as ISIS was being taken down by the FBI, he was looking a little flabby then). And don't even get me started on etiquette of getting more towels in a hotel, let alone a presidential mansion. While I've never seen that boys from Brazil movie where they have those kids that're made from Hitler's DNA, which Krieger is supposedly one of, I'm willing to bet the clones have something to do with that. Malory not getting the Breakfast Club references was hilarious to me. Partially because it works with the age of her character and ambiguous timeline. Also because I remember seeing an interview with Jessica Walter, where she was saying that she didn't really understand a lot of the jokes that were written into the show for the age-gap reasons (aww). Finally... One of my favorite lines from the episode from Pam: "Who are you, Princess... Hang on... Lana?" Max stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and then some 🌟🌟🌟
First one was definitely better although I had quite a few lol moments in this episode. It's just that first D&D episode set the bar pretty high. Glad to see Fa...bulous Neil is still around, doing this and that in the background. On an unrelated note, there's now a Meow Meow Beenz app. It doesn't do much in terms of actually rating people like it does on the show. I just use it for the sound effects mainly when I'm bored rating people as they walk by me. Or you can add pics of people, screen capture them and send it. My personal opinion, it gets 😾😾😾 for now.
Pretty decent episode. Lizzie definitely had to go. She would have most likely been attacked by walkers and turned with the first one that came along or had she come into contact with any other humans, she'd be a danger to them had they just left her. Messed up stuff. Almost as messed up is that they never got to eat deer meat. Tyrese is a big dude. Eating nothing but nuts, berries and bugs all the time just doesn't look like it would be enough.
My favorite of the season so far. Part of me started to worry during the standoff that they weren't going to have Cyril's "suppressing fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire!" in a perfect Cyril, suppressing fire situation. Glad that wasn't the case. Oh, was the crocodile attack scene not one of the best things ever? 🐊🐊🐊🐊😅😅😂😂😂😂. I'm also in love with these past two elaborate, voicemail hoaxes. Archer's truly perfected that craft.
😻😻😻😻😻 I'm actually looking forward to the actual app those devs from reddit are working on.
A lot of Krieger in this episode. Loved it. Insanely funny moment: "Remind me to reboot the CPU in Ray's spine So he can walk again". That's all it takes!? Awesome. Part of me was starting to think what the point of adding Lucky's name to the credits if they were going to utilize Krieger even less than usual. Glad they finally gave him something to do. Him and Cheryl are my favorite characters (it's becoming pretty apparent that Cheryl's "ghosts" that her family used to dress up as are klansmen by the way). Archer calling KY "Kentucky jelly" got a laugh out of me as well. Unfortunately Archer and Community are going on a little bit of a hiatus while the winter Olympics (which I didn't even know was still a thing) are happening. I'm sure I can find something to keep me occupied in the meantime. Walking Dead comes back and I may think about giving Brooklyn Nine-Nine another shot.
Dammit! Accidentally clicked two stars instead of four. My bad. When you see the user rating, just keep that in mind and mentally adjust accordingly. Idk, I liked this episode better than last week's. Loving that Pam is such a coked up mess. This episode actually made me like Ron as well. I couldn't stand that character last season. So, three episodes in and no Rodney? Thank god. Hope he died in the FBI raid. Stupid idiot 🙏
Watched this episode for a second time on my lunch break earlier and caught the part on the tv where it mentions Levar Burton and Troy. Hilarious. Also, Chang and the "bear down for midterms" part had me dying. The "easy peasy , lemon squeezy" line made me think of Pierce's "easy peasy, George and Weezy" from whatever episode that was. What else..? Oh, is the coat check girl not the best? Duncan's end tag was pretty funny too. I can't think of a scenario in Community where John Oliver would be unfunny anyway. Overall just a good episode all around. I didn't think the show would have any trouble carrying on without Troy.
