  1. Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Princess Dowry"

Dair is officially on. I'm glad the writers went there, Dair deserves a real shot. All of you who claim that there's no chemistry - I suggest you stop closing your eyes. The way she looked at him in the final scene was definitely real.

I love Chair, but I'm sick of all the fanatics, who say that only Chair makes sense. Are we watching the same show? Dair is running it as far as I'm concerned. Chair is once in a lifetime love, but other than that - they don't make sense. I'm reading all the "Blair doesn't deserve Chuck" comments and I'm like WHAT? It’s Chuck Bass we’re talking about, right? The one who treated Blair like crap so many times? The fact that she forgave him for all that makes her a saint in my world. Even in this episode he cared more about hurting Dan than not hurting Blair. And when he realized that he just basically screwed up, it took him two seconds to spin it around and call it Dan's fault. That's not how it works. When you act like a jerk, it's your fault.
  2. Justified Round Table: "When the Guns Come Out"

Favourite scene - Raylan and Boyd, as usual. Which leads me right to the question number two. Relationship with Boyd will not hurt Raylan. Just like relationship with Raylan will not hurt Boyd. It will help both of them, like always. This weird thing they have works both ways.

For a brief moment I thought Winona actually took the money. Is it the end of that love story? I hope not. As a woman I probably should understand this typical woman logic, but honestly, I don't get it. Ok, Raylan is reckless. But leaving him is good... how? If he gets hurt now, is it going to be less painful for her because they are not together anymore? Where is the sense in that?

Everything Raylan does is always cool. The most impressive was the way he handled being dumped. Especially after Winona acted like such a coward! She couldn't even tell him in the face that she's leaving. She just left with no warning and then avoided him like he was the kind of guy a woman should hide from. What was that?
  3. Gossip Girl Round Table: "Cross Rhodes"

Chuck seducing Alessandra to screw over Dan - a little bit of everything. Cruel in a typical Bass way, which made it entertaining. Justified, if you consider jealousy to be a justifying factor. But unfortunately, most of all, it was pathetic. Are we still 17 years old? Even Serena could accept the fact that Dair is going to happen and move herself out of the way. Honestly, Chuck, if you can't deny yourself pure pleasure of revenge, aim higher than THAT. Btw, Blair did want you to wait for her. I hardly think doing nasty stuff with Alessandra qualifies as "waiting".

Hardest to believe - Dan all the way. Dude! It's like the first and most sacred rule of the universe, ever since they've invented computers. Always. Have. Copy. If my computer blows up right this moment, I won't lose a single file, I have copies of everything important in three other places.

Will Hurricane Georgina live up to that nickname? Not a chance in hell.
  4. Gossip Girl Round Table: "Cross Rhodes"

Favourite quote - "Humphrey… how can this happen?". Yeah, we are all asking the same question. But honestly, I don't see Dair as just another thing to keep Chair apart. Dair is a real deal, it always was. It slowly grew up to this point. This scene - the two of them standing there, holding hands and finally saying out loud what everyone else knew months ago - made me sure that bringing them together is a good idea. Because the weirdest thing about this couple (and I'm saying this as a huge Chair fan) is that they really fit together.

Is Dan winning? He certainly won this round. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have better things to do". Snap. Did you see that coming, Bass?

I didn't like the real Charlie at first, but now she's growing on me. And I feel bad for her, having a psycho for a mother can't be easy. I loved the moment when she was telling Dan about the fight over who was going to play Clair and she won. Yeah, everyone wants to play that role.
  5. Justified Round Table: "Thick as Mud"

Favourite moment - Boyd meeting Quarles. There is nothing like two smart and dangerous guys testing each other's strength. Quarles thought he could make Boyd his bitch and left with nothing. I wonder what he'll do now. Underestimating Boyd would be a huge mistake.

Dewey's most entertaining stop - the convenience store. Like Matt wrote on the newest edition of his "Moments of the Week", confused Dewey asking if he had four kidneys was the line of the week. Naturally, that was the first thing that came to his mind, because it's way simpler explanation than the prison nurse lying to him. Poor Dewey :)

As for Tim - yeah, I wrote it last week! Where the hell is he? Bring him back!

The note from Winona better not be anything like "I'm leaving you". Seriously, just when I thought she became supportive partner I've always wanted her to be, she stabs me in the back like that? Not cool.
  6. The Secret Circle Review: Daddy's Home!

Cassie and Adam are sweet. A little too sweet for me, unfortunately. I much prefer the bitchy version of Cassie, the way she is with Jake. Like that thing she did with the umbrella. I can't help it, Cake works for me.

I agree that the spell Eben did on Cassie was the lowest part of the episode. It's way too easy for those witch hunters to grab her and do stuff to her. It's the third time it happened, not very impressive track record for a super powerful witch. And she still claims that she can look out for herself? Get real, girl. And watch your back, for the love of God!
  7. The Secret Circle Review: Daddy's Home!

I'm sorry, what? John Blackwell has no power? COME ON! I was hoping for some serious dark magic action with him around. Fortunately Joe Lando really works for me as John. I hope they won't get rid of him any time soon. The thing is, I believed him when he said he cared about Cassie and Amelia. Maybe protecting Cassie is his priotrity, but he definitely has other business too.

Carissa, I don't know if you're putting too much thought into the whole John/Jake thing, but I didn't see anything off about it. John needs to have someone on his side, since nobody really trusts him, and Jake seems to be the right choice. Especially after he made it pretty clear that he's willing to do anything for Cassie.

The coma girl in Lee's bedroom is obviously Eva. Lee put a totem under her bed in the previous episode and he said that he figured out a way to make her better. So obviously he was stealing power from Faye. I have to say I like him a little more now. He and Faye fit with each other.
  8. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "All My Children"

Favourite scene - Klaus chasing after Caroline and almost getting hit by a car. The guy is really making an effort. And Caroline totally used the fact that he likes her against him. That's how it's done, girls. Btw, it's really hard not to fall for Klaroline when they are so cute.

Second favourite - Elijah, Klaus and Kol confronting Esther and Finn. There was something extremely powerful about that scene.
  9. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "All My Children"

Biggest heart string tugger – Elijah all the way. Poor guy… And the letter he left for Elena… well, I'll admit it, I cried.

As for Stefan and Damon – the relationship between Salvatore brothers is what keeps this show going. It's incredible how they love each other even when they don't like each other. That's the kind of bond that can't be broken no matter how many times they've both screwed up.

As for Meredith – it would be way too easy if she was the murderer, but she did shoot at Alaric, so… I don’t know. Yeah, Ric, that is what you get for trusting hot psycho doctor. Obviously they will not kill off Alaric because that would be idiotic.

On a side note – decision to turn Abby was a twist I could never see coming. But the whole logic behind the coin toss (that Elena doesn't have to hate both of them) was messed up. It doesn't matter who did it as long as they both agreed to do that. Still, it was incredibly touching that Damon took it off Stefan's hands.
  10. Gossip Girl Round Table: "Crazy Cupid Love"

@db - I'm really not saying that Serena doesn't care about anyone. I know that she does. I just don't like how the first thing Serena thought was that Blair kissed Dan for revenge. She always acts like the world is spinning around her. She stabbed her best friend in the back and then shipped herself away without even saying goodbye. She came back, got into a relationship with a decent guy and ruined it by lying about her past. Then she had a series of relationships with two teachers, a married guy and her best friend's ex (again). And when Dan actually wanted to be with her and waited for her for God knows how long, she decided to break the world record of being undecided. Now, out of nowhere, she decides that she still loves him and gets mad at Blair like it's Blair's fault that Dan finally moved on. I'm sorry, I'm just not buying it.
  11. Gossip Girl Round Table: "Crazy Cupid Love"

Lola vs Ivy… Well, if I was Lola, my thinking process would be something like that: Ivy is using my name and, as me, she's Nate's friend's cousin. So the first thing I would ask Nate is: "which one of your friends is her cousin?". Btw, how is that possible that Nate doesn't know Lola's last name? As for Ivy - I knew there was something big coming after she was so desperately trying to meet up with Lily. So she's taking care of dying Cece, obviously.
  12. Gossip Girl Round Table: "Crazy Cupid Love"

Blerena will suffer most after the kiss. Chair already forgave each other for much worse things. Derena - well, Dan made it perfectly clear a long time ago that he doesn't want her anymore, Serena knew he's is in love with Blair. Duck is a bit worse, but Chuck also knew how Dan felt about Blair. Yeah, Blerena is screwed. And I'm sorry to say this, but in a big part it's Serena's fault. Does she remember that she had sex with Nate when he was still Blair's BF? And now, when she and Dan are not even close anymore, she throws a girl code on Blair? After everything Dan did for Blair, after all the times she cried on his shoulder, after all the emergency calls he answered, how can Serena accuse Blair of not really caring about him? The fact that Serena thinks the kiss was somehow about her, makes her the most selfish person ever. Over the last few years Blair has changed so much. She's smart, strong and sweet. And Serena is still the same stupid, self-centred idiot she's always been.
  13. Gossip Girl Round Table: "Crazy Cupid Love"

I'm super pissed that Dan turned out to be the one who sent the video. But… O M G, that KISS. I couldn't sleep last night. I can't remember the last time when "GG" kept me up like that. Every Chair interaction is always madly hot, but I have to say this Dair kiss was the sweetest kiss I've ever seen. The whole scene blew my mind. Blair just wants Dan to be happy… And what does he do? He gives her this… it's not even a half-smile, it's more like a quarter-of-a-smile thing (I swear, he's like the only person in the world who can do that) and then he goes all in without even saying anything. How can you not love this show after a scene like that?

Favourite quote - Dorota commenting on "operation Derena". Followed by a reminiscence of her first love, Kazimierz. I love Dorota :D

Georgina as Gossip Girl 2.0 is a bit boring and kind of… out of place.

Unintentionally hilarious - both. Alessandra is a little too low for Bass. And Blair's "minder" came basically out of nowhere.
  14. The Secret Circle Review: That's the Devil's Spirit!

Adam made me laugh for the first time in the history of this show, when he mocked himself. "That's so random…?" :D:D:D that was like my favourite Adam scene ever.

The ghosts were pretty cool. Well, obviously Cassie was stupid to follow them in the first place, but the rest of it was cool. And Jake teaming up with Adam to go on a rescue mission was pretty great too. "Coming, lover boy?". Jake really is getting better. Obviously, despite the kiss, I'm still Team Cake.
  15. The Secret Circle Review: That's the Devil's Spirit!

I need John Blackwell to come to Chance Harbor already! Right now we are putting so much hope in him and I feel like the more we have to wait, the more of a letdown he'll turn out to be.

Diana on Devil's Spirit is even better than Melissa on Devil's Spirit. The whole thing with the pizza guy was hilarious :D Faye was a little bit more likeable and her scene with Jake in his bedroom was damn hot. I never thought I'd say this, but they are quite cool together.

I really don't like Isaac randomly showing up with the oldest "I can help you" trick that all the villains always try to pull. It's usually Cassie who falls for this kind of crap. Jake seemed sceptical, I hope he'll keep it that way. And btw - the medallion is like… really gone? They got rid of it a little too quickly considering how big of a deal it seemed to be.

Lee is finally getting a little interesting. Be careful dude, you're messing with the wrong bitch. She'll unleash all hell on you, if you cross her. I hope.
  16. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "Dangerous Liaisons"

Dumbest thing was probably going after Kol, but who can blame Damon? And I dare say that he saved Matt’s life. As for Damon and Rebekah - yeah, it totally made sense after the night they've both had. She's not so bad and who doesn't love her bitchiness? She's like a Caroline-type version of Katherine.

Speaking of Caroline - I loved how she shut Klaus out. If she wasn't under his skin already, that would totally do it. Although I don't understand why so many people are like "she would never ever do that". First of all - she went to the ball not because he asked her, but because Elena and Matt were going. Obviously she wouldn't stay away knowing that they are in the house full of Originals. And second of all - it's not like she jumped in Klaus' bed, she just talked to him. She has such a big heart, she always seeks good in people, so in my opinion the fact that on occasion she listens to Klaus totally fits her character. And that brutal honesty probably made him respect her.
  17. The Vampire Diaries Round Table: "Dangerous Liaisons"

Ok, I'm done. I officially don't care anymore, if Elena gets killed or not. "Maybe that's the problem"? WTF? Is that really her response to "I love you"? The writers are clearly trying to make us hate her. The guy stayed with her through all of this shit and she’s mad because he didn't want her to go alone? You have got to be kidding me! And five seconds later she's all in the same old "you have to feel something" crap with Stefan. Why does Damon always get the worst shit from everybody?

Now that I’ve let my anger out, I have to say those Originals really know how to throw a party.

Favourite scene - Damon taking on Kol. "Easy on the hand, guy is a quarterback" :)

Mama Original is in killer mode. Great. That is just what we need. I can't believe Elena betrayed Elijah. One decent guy in this entire family. And he actually likes her. I hope he didn't buy that lame lie of hers.

Finn's willingness to die is interesting. Kol is a first class asshole, so naturally I love it.
  18. Justified Review: Each Our Own Devil

I love how Raylan always starts a conversation with an anecdote and only after telling the story he gets to the point and asks the actual question. Relationship between Raylan and Boyd is probably the best quasi-friendship in television. Even if they have one scene together, it's always the best scene of the episode.

Every time Dickie opens his mouth, I laugh so hard. The way he talks is just epic. Quarles is super creepy, which is awesome. Poor Devil, I liked him (and he had totally awesome nickname). But honestly he had it coming. How stupid could he be? He really thought he can go against Boyd and get out of it alive? Going to Johnny was like the stupidest thing ever. To me it was obvious Johnny would not cross Boyd.

Can I just have one request? More Tim! I love that guy and lately he's gone MIA.

@Ryan - I believe the name of that actor is Clayne Crawford.
  19. Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Backup Dan"

Rufus kept the secret from Sophie, which was the most important thing. Messing with Eleanor on the other hand is definitely the worst idea ever. The Grimaldi family doesn't know it yet, but forcing Blair to stay with Louis was a huge mistake. The Woldorf women will make their lives hell. Payback time, girls.

Georgina as not-the-real-GG is a major relief. That's it.

The blast was not sent by Dan. Otherwise I will never watch this show again.

Lola seems clueless, but years of GG history filled up with twist and turns seriously damaged me and now I'm constantly suspicious.

Favourite quote - with so many great one-liners from basically everyone, it's hard to choose. I'd say it's a toss-up. Dorota: "He said he wants to find Miss Blair and get her the help she needs, which in the romance novels means locking her forever in tall tower". Dair exchange at the airport - Dan: "Relax, they're staring at you because you're wearing a wedding dress", Blair: "Yes, right, you have a point".
  20. Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Backup Dan"

How awesome is Dair? OMG, there's not enough awesome words in the dictionary to describe how awesome they are. I looooooove them. They saved this episode and their fight in the hotel was the best scene I've seen on "GG" lately. Dan stood up for himself and let's face it - he was right. He really was the only person always there for her in this entire stupid mess. And then Blair expressed appreciation and admitted that she cares about him too. All in all - huge deal for Dair, they are on a totally new level now.

Both of Blair's excuses were incredibly stupid, but I'm still going with the whole God deal. Ok, dowry is a little much (repeating after Chuck: what century do they think this is?), but money is a good reason because it really is an issue. And personally I find it impressive that Blair accepted the consequences of her own mistakes instead of just buying her way out of it with someone else's money. Whereas the God thing was plain ridiculous on every level.
  21. The Secret Circle Review: A Bad Banana

I'm still Team Cake. My favourite scene this week was when Cassie asked Jake if he ever killed a witch and he just went silent. If, knowing that about him, she decides that she wants to be with him, that will be truly big and honest thing. Jake hooking up with Faye was just the fallout of Cassie pushing him away. Cassie said she's not like him, but I think it's just defense. He gets her. He was the first person she told about being able to do magic by herself. Of all people she asked him to help her with the medallion and he was also the first one to know that she found it. She took him to dig up her father's grave and to see Lucy. It's like she instinctively tells him everything.

I really like the vibe between Melissa and Callum. He's trouble, no doubt about that, but I just can't help it - I like them.

I can't wait for John Blackwell to show up. Cassie calling for "daddy" at the end of the episode was… wow.
  22. The Secret Circle Review: A Bad Banana

Cassie needs to stop trusting random people. Ok, Lucy looked genuinely freaked out and I would probably believe her too, but not to the point where I would agree to do the ritual. Don't get me wrong, I liked how Cassie was not afraid to experiment with her magic, confront people and ask questions. But there are people who want her dead. If I was her, I would always assume every new person I meet is one of them.

As for the whole struggle with her dark side - it's not good vs evil, it's weak vs strong. Her power makes her tough, I really don't understand why would anyone think it's a bad thing. Why does Adam think that Jake is pulling her to evil when Jake was the first person who warned her about it? Jake believes she can handle it and I think he's right to push her. No offence to Adam, but the Circle magic is not enough. Yeah, I know he's worried, but he's trying to control her, he gets mad like he has a right to tell her what she should and shouldn't do and it really pisses me off.
  23. The Vampire Diaries Review: Family Matters

Caroline is still the sweetest girl ever. Her dealing with Bill's death was heartbreaking to watch. P.s where the hell is Tyler?

Elena saying that Alaric is her family was beautiful. I love their bond, they both need it. When she "killed" him, I was like: OMG, that is one of the most incredible things I've seen.

My favourite moment was all the Original siblings showing up. Especially seeing Kol and Finn for the first time was super exciting. Elijah rules!
  24. The Vampire Diaries Review: Family Matters

Oh, how I love the Salvatore brothers. Dinner with Klaus and Elijah was fantastic! I could totally see the four of them hanging out like buddies. I laughed so hard when Elijah asked Stefan where is lovely Elena and Klaus started laughing. And Damon's awesomeness is killing me. He rocks my world every time he opens his mouth. "Hey Stef, remember when you killed dad?" LOL :D

I'm not sure what I think about the return of Esther. I was kind of expecting her body to be locked in the coffin but I guess I didn't really want that. Here's my question - if she doesn't want to kill Klaus, does that mean she was just playing Bonnie with those dreams? Making our useless witch believe that opening the coffin was the answer while all she wanted was to get out of there and be mammy again? The woman is a bitch. Not to mention she wanted to kill Elena, so… now what?
  25. Gossip Girl Round Table: "G.G."

Like most - Cyrus and Eleanor were both great. Cyrus was always super sweet, but when Eleanor came to Chuck's apartment, drank his Scotch and told him to stop the wedding, she just made her way to the top of "my favourite parents" list. Chuck: "If I'd been meant to stop the wedding, there would've been some sort of sign". Bam! Eleanor walks in. How awesome was that?

Like least - Louis caught me completely off guard. Where did that come from?! I don't even know what to say, I'm still in shock. I feel really bad for Blair. Ok, her stubbornness about marrying Louis was idiotic, but she didn't deserve what she got. Just when she thought she was free and safe, he goes a-hole on her. The old Queen B would never let that happen, she would smell the manipulation from a mile away. And now she should show him that he can't play a player.
